If you are searching for this car, then you know what it is and what it is capable of. Furthermore, you are a person of great taste! This is my fourth e39 ///M5 and they are absolutely amazing machines! I am selling 3 of them. I just recently sold one and have two left to sell! Time to downsize my little car collection!

This particular M5 was my personal car and has been maintained very well. It is a beautiful Alpine White 2000 BMW M5 with Black Sport Extended Leather Interior. (Leather dashboard, glovebox, door panels, center console, leather everywhere!) It is my daily driver so miles may be more upon selling it. Vehicle pulls like an absolute beast and there are no vibrations or anything of the such at any RPM's or at any speed. Drives true and straight. Alignment is spot-on and car does not pull whatsoever.

Also included with the car is this set of authentic 18" BBS RGR wheels with diamond finish. Brand New these wheels where close to $4000 before tires!!! BBS center caps and BBS valve stem covers are included! They do have their fair share of curb rash and a few small bends in the lip but they balanced out nice and true with the new tires that were just installed.

CarFax report available upon request. Vehicle has REBUILT TITLE. On 07/02/2012, over one year ago, this car was rear ended. The rear body panel, trunk, tail lights, rear bumper and bumper cover where all replaced with new/used OEM parts. Car has been running fine ever since!

Very clean car inside and out. Interior is a close 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing with the factory extended leather option! All original windows/glass and windshield!

Options:
Extended Leather
Heated seats
Alcantera Headliner

Recent Maintenance:
Brand New Tires all around
Brakes have plenty of life left
TWS 10w60 Oil and Filter change at 128k miles
Chain Tensioner replaced

Upgrades:
Upgraded Exhaust (Muffler Delete)
16:9 widescreen Navigation screen
20% window tint

A few things to note: The front lower grill fell off, I have it and will include with the sale. The service engine soon light and airbag light bulbs have burnt out and do not illuminate. But when hooked up to a BMW scanner there are no codes present. As previously stated, mechanically, the car runs flawlessy and pulls like an absolute beast.

With all recent maintenance already taken care of, this amazing M5 is 100% ready to go for many more miles. A typical Alpine White M5 would usually sell close $16,000! Perfect opportunity to get one for thousands and thousands less! Vehicle is sold AS-IS, No Warranty!

Rolls-Royce Cullinan and BMW 8 Series spied south of Death Valley

Wed, Aug 30 2017

Recently, we've stumbled upon a number of manufacturer prototypes running around. Usually, spy photographers sit and wait for hours with cameras primed in order to get a few shots of a car. We just got lucky. First, we caught the new Chevy Corvette ZR1 convertible during a Facebook Live video. A week or so later McGraw snapped a video of a ZR1 coupe cruising in his neck of the woods. Today, our ace photographer Drew Phillips caught a BMW test fleet filling up the new Rolls-Royce Cullinan and 8 Series coupe in Baker, Calif. Baker sits along Interstate 15, about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It's just south of Death Valley, and, being late August, suggests that BMW was doing some hot weather testing. Drew was filling up his car when the fleet rolled in. There were at least two of the new king Rolls and a single 8 Series. Both cars were wearing a full swirl camouflage wrap. It's not an uncommon place to see prototypes. Still, seeing a whole fleet roll in is quite a sight. We've seen official photos of the Cullinan before, but these pictures give us our best view of the profile and rear we've had so far. From a distance, it looks like a high-riding version of the new Phantom with a hatch in place of the trunk. The taillights are obviously just filler units. Expect the final version to look very much like the squared off LED units on the Phantom. Likewise the interior and engine should be straight from the Phantom. That means a twin-turbocharged V12, though power is likely to be sent to all four wheels. We've seen the full BMW 8 Series concept a few times now. The proportions on the production car look the same, with a long hood and even longer wheelbase. The nose isn't quite as aggressive as the concept, but we expected the styling to be toned down to meet crash and safety standards. As for engines, look for six, eight and (hopefully) 12-cylinder power under the hood. A plug-in variant is also expected. Both cars have been in development for a long while, so look for full debuts sometime this auto show season. Maybe we'll happen upon some more test mules between now and then. Related Video:

Thermal imagery of BMW M4 DTM pit stop is red hot

Wed, 28 May 2014

A pit stop is a pit stop, right? The race car pulls in, the crew changes the tires, pumps in some fuel, maybe swaps out a busted body panel or squeegees the windshield, and off it goes for another heat. Only pit stops have become the focus of news lately for a number of reasons, whether it's because of mishaps (like the ones that prompted F1 to ban mid-race refueling), new time records (due largely to said ban) or interesting new ways to film the fast-paced action.
A few weeks ago we brought you footage of an IndyCar pit stop filmed from multiple angles courtesy of Google Glass. Now BMW has released a brief clip of one of its M4 DTM racers coming in for fresh rubber, all filmed by infrared camera. Its the kind of technology BMW uses to help optimize its German touring cars for competition, and now the Bavarian outfit has released some footage for fans to enjoy.
The resulting thermal imagery gives you an idea of how hot the car runs (and where the heat is emanating from), how warm they get the fresh rubber before they get it onto the car, and what kind of temperatures the pit crew is subjected to. Look closely enough in the 25-second video below and you'll even see the heat sputtering out of the exhaust pipes as the M4 downshifts into its pit box. (Just don't try adjusting your speakers, the clip is without audio.)
