Time to downsize my little car collection! Also included with the car is this set of authentic 18" BBS RGR wheels with diamond finish. Brand New these wheels where close to $4000 before tires!!! BBS center caps and BBS valve stem covers are included! They do have their fair share of curb rash and a few small bends in the lip but they balanced out nice and true with the new tires that were just installed. CarFax report available upon request. Vehicle has REBUILT TITLE. On 07/02/2012, over one year ago, this car was rear ended. The rear body panel, trunk, tail lights, rear bumper and bumper cover where all replaced with new/used OEM parts. BMW M4 spied in coupe and convertible form
Thu, 29 Aug 2013From the sound of it, we'll have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see the production version of the BMW M4, but spy shots show the new hi-po BMW testing recently in both coupe and convertible form. Showing a lot more skin than recent spy shots, these M4 prototypes look very similar to the M4 Concept we saw at Pebble Beach.
Carryovers from the concept car include the funky mirrors, bulging hood and the slotted front fascia vents, but the rear fascia seems to be missing the added flair of the concept and, as expected, the carbon fiber front splitter and exhaust tips are also missing from these M4s. Like the current M3 Convertible, the drop-top version of the M4 will utilize a retractable hard top.
BMW planning Chinese recall for engine part issue [w/video]
Mon, 17 Mar 2014After receiving an unspecified number of complaints in China, BMW has reportedly started a "full investigation" into what may be a defective part in its VANOS engine control system. BMW said via a Chinese blog that it would file a recall application with the the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in China.
BMW has not yet announced how many vehicles will be recalled, or which models the potential recall might cover. We're also curious as to whether the VANOS issue could extend into markets outside of China.
