2003 BMW M3 Horsepower Freaks HPF Strage 2.5 Turbo 700WHP (800+ BHP)!!!

Price is $40,000. This is truly a special car. It looks better then new and made 698whp (Over 800bhp) on Race/Meth map. You can drive it all day long as if it were stock and average 29mpg. I have driven it in 110 degree heat and the needle hasn't budged past the halfway mark. This is truly an exceptional vehicle that has seen the best in care and parts since brand new. The car comes with the full polished aluminum Varrstoen wheels.

There is more than $70,000 dollars put into this car including the turbo kit. The clutch is BRAND NEW HPF Feramic stage 2 race clutch, just installed last year with less than 2000 miles on it. The engine is fully built with brand new parts (pistons, rods, studs, entire HPF turbo system), and has less than 10,000 miles on the freshly built Turbo motor. The milage is 95,100 but again, the engine has less than 10,000 miles on it since turbo build. I have also recently replaced the whole vanos system with Dr. Vanos, ensuring that the vanos will never fail, I did it as a safety precaution. That job was over $3500 in itself. This car is very powerful, fast, and received only the best parts. Only serious buyers with funds available will be able to test drive, no tire kickers!!! CLEAN TITLE and Clean carfax. For any questions please text or call 503-807-7165.

This car has straight pipes with cat delete in order to achieve the kind of power it puts out. It will have to be registered in a city with no emissions.

Former BMW M boss and Maserati CEO killed in freak motorcycle accident

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

It's a tragic coincidence that on the same weekend the BMW M4 Coupe Concept was introduced in Monterey, one of the men most integral to BMW's M and Motorsports divisions, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell, was killed in England. Kalbfell, a vintage motorcycle enthusiast, was set to compete in the Lansdowne Classic Series at Brands Hatch and had an accident during a practice session. After going wide at Druids Corner and falling, he was hit by a competitor following close behind and died of his injuries after being transported to hospital.
Kalbfell, an engineer, began his career at BMW in 1977 in the communications department; a decade later he was chairman of BMW M GmbH, overseeing development of some of the cars responsible for the myth of M. In 1994 he was named chairman of BMW Motorsport, and his cap full of feathers includes getting the BMW V12 into the McLaren F1, getting the BMW V8 into two Morgan cars, along with developing BMW's Formula One engine and return to the sport. Not incidentally, he also assumed leadership of Project Rolls-Royce after BMW bought the British marque in 1998, which means he oversaw the Goodwood factory upfit and the creation of the Phantom.
He left Rolls-Royce for a brief stint at Fiat, heading Alfa Romeo and Maserati, then went into consulting for clients like Lotus and Paragon, who built the Artega GT. As Autocar notes, Kalbfell "had an abiding sense that customers needed to be attracted to cars by their aura and reputation, not just their engineering." He will be missed.

Formula Drift kicks off 11th season on Streets of Long Beach

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The 2014 Formula Drift series kicked off last weekend in Long Beach, and saw Chris Forsberg, who you'll recall went mad and drifted around a warehouse in an Infiniti M, take the title behind the wheel of his Hankook Tire Nissan 370Z (shown above).
Forsberg really ran away with the first round of competition, outscoring his closest opponent, second-place finisher Kenneth Moen and his Bridges Racing Nissan 240SX, by 20 points. Third place was 2013 championship winner Michael Essa and his Yokohama BMW M3, 30.5 points behind Forsberg.
In the manufacturers' title, Nissan took an early lead with 122 points, which isn't a huge surprise considering five of the top ten drifters were piloting either a Z or a product of the brand's S platform. Ford, which had two drivers (Justin Pawlak and Vaughn Gittin, Jr.) in the top ten, took home second place, while BMW is currently third in the manufacturers' standings.
