Payments
We accept Certified Cashiers Checks, Bank Wire Transfers or Cash in person. All funding or paperwork must be received as soon as possible and within no more than 7 days of auction closure or we reserve the right to re-list or sell to any other qualified buyer. Winning Bidder must confirm his winning bid with a $500.000 Non-Refundable Deposit within 48 hours of auction end. Balance of Purchase Price is due to Seller within 7 days of the end of the auction.
Taxes and Fees
"Buyer" is responsible not only for knowing their own states' laws regarding taxes and fees, but also remitting the proper taxes, fees, and documents for their state. Buyers from outside of California with not be charged any other fees associated with the sale. California buyers must pay all taxes and license fees in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered. California buyers need only remit state TT&L to us and we would be happy to handle the registration process for you at no additional cost. Casey’s Cars Inc. also applies a document fee of $65.00 and Smog fees of $58.25 to buyers inside of California.
Title Information
Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive.
Finalizing Your Purchase
Winning bidder MUST communicate with us by e-mail or phone within 24 hours of the end of the auction to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 2 business days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer", all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".
Shipping and Delivery
All shipping charges are the "Buyer's" responsibility. We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed "Carriers" are generally insured for $500,000. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the "Carrier" and not with us. The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the "Carrier" selected. BMW rolls out new M4 safety car for DTM
Mon, 05 May 2014Ever since revealing the M4 on nearly five months ago, BMW has been hard at work getting its new muscle coupe out on the track. It's made a touring-car version to compete in DTM and a safety car to set the pace at MotoGP races, and now it's combined both into a new safety car for DTM as well.
The ninth M4 on the DTM grid is based on the production version, but fitted with numerous upgrades over the course of a two-month conversion process. For starters, it's been equipped with nearly exterior component from the M Performance Parts catalog, including the quad-tipped exhaust, front splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, blacked-out grille, special mirror caps, side sills... the works. But that's not the end of the story.
BMW M GmbH also gutted the interior, removing the rear bench and replacing it with a roll cage. It's got a pair of Recaro racing buckets with Schroth harnesses, plus special LED emergency lighting, radio communication system and, of course, special livery (albeit nowhere near as cool as the MotoGP one) to distinguish it as the official safety car when it makes its debut at the Nürburgring on August 17.

Noting that the three German brands share some 80 percent of the market for luxury automobiles, Zetsche said that F1 would make a natural arena of competition for Mercedes, Audi and BMW to fight for top bragging rights. The three currently compete against each other in front of home audiences in the DTM touring car series – effectively Germany's equivalent to NASCAR – but of the ten races held this year, the majority were in Germany itself, and all of them took place in Europe. BMW last competed in F1 when it bought the Sauber team in 2006, but withdrew from the series in 2009. Despite its progenitor Auto Union having fielded the famous Silver Arrows in pre-war grand prix racing, Audi has never been a player in modern F1 racing, though recent rumors have linked it to a potential foray – spurred by the arrival of sister-company Porsche on its home turf at Le Mans, the departure of several of its key endurance drivers and the hiring of former Scuderia Ferrari chief Stefano Domenicali. Porsche had similarly considered an F1 program before getting the go-ahead to compete with Audi at Le Mans. As for the prospect of Mercedes competing in other international racing series, Zetsche added that year-long preparations for 24 hours of racing at Le Mans didn't present a good cost-benefit ratio in his estimation, but that Formula E (where Audi currently supports a quasi-works entry) would be worth a closer look.
