I am selling my 2003 E46 BMW M3 with the SMG (Sequential Manual Gearbox) with jet black exterior and black leather interior. I purchased the vehicle in February of 2009 with 62,154 miles. (I am the second owner). As you can see by the current mileage of 66,951 I only put 4,797 miles on the car over the past 4.5 years that I have owned the vehicle. The car has been garage kept since I purchased it, I am a non smoker, and I do not have pets. I absolutely love the car but as you can see by the mileage, I do not get much chance to drive it due to work and my young children.
I have done numerous upgrades and modifications:
Performance:
Agency Power V2 Headers with CAT delete ( I have stock headers )
Custom Performance Rasp Terminator (section 1 pipe) (I have stock section 1)
Rogue Engineering El Diablo Exhaust ( I have stock exhaust)
K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake

Brand New OEM center console
Brand New OEM center storage tray
Carbon Fiber Door Step covers
Exterior:
19" ASA Wheels ( I have stock BMW M3 19" Wheels)
4 NEW Hankook Tires: Front 255/40/19 Rear 275/35/19
Carbon Fiber Rear diffuser ( I have stock diffuser)
Race Mesh lower valance grill
Black fender grills
Black center kidney grills
Painted black front side reflectors
Smokes side reflectors
BRAND NEW OEM ( I forgot the name of it: Plastic piece outside below windshield where hood and windshield washer arms are)
Carbon fiber BMW emblems
Black M3 rear emblem
I changed the oil and filter in feb 2013 and have since put on app. 200 miles. At the same time I also flushed the cooling system and replaced coolant (BMW coolant), and flushed the bake fluid and replaced with ATE super blue.
Overall the car runs and looks great!! I have not had any issues with the vehicle since I purchased it. The leather seats are in good shape with no tears. The rest of the interior is like new since I replaced almost everything that showed any signs of wear. I have stock headers, section 1, and muffler, as well as stock M3 wheels.
The car is being sold AS IS. There is no warranty.
I am requiring a $1000 deposit through PayPal with the balance due within 7 days of purchase. I will accept wire transfer, money order, bank check, or personal check.
The buyer is responsible for shipping costs if needed, but I will help facilitate the process in any way.
I am sure I forgot something, so please feel free to ask me any questions.
Thanks for looking!

BMW takes 30th Anniversary Edition M5 out to drift
Thu, 04 Sep 2014If you only look at the videos from BMW, it appears that the best way to celebrate the 30th birthday of the M5 is some smoky drifting, and it sure looks like a great way to mark the occasion to us. Now that the Bavarian brand's new 30th anniversary special edition is all set to hit the road, the most powerful M5 ever is getting it own chance to roast its tires on video, as well.
The M5 30th Anniversary Edition shouldn't have any problem hanging its rear end out, really. Under the hood, its twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 is turned up to 600 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque and can allegedly sprint to 60 miles per hour in a scant 3.7 seconds. That's pretty impressive for any sports car but especially for a sedan that can still carry four passengers comfortably cosseted in leather and Alcantara upholstery.
BMW is making just 300 of these celebratory models worldwide, and appropriately for the anniversary, only 30 of them are going to be available in the US. If the special M5 doesn't make your heart race, the video basks in a little nostalgia, as well, by showing off the original model for some historical context.
BMW recalls diesel X5 models over fuel filter heater
Mon, 19 Aug 2013
BMW has announced that it is recalling 1,540 examples of its 2009 and 2010 X5 xDrive35d crossovers produced between June 13, 2009 and November 9, 2009.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model's fuel filter heater, which warms up the diesel fuel at low outside temperatures, can experience an electrical overload condition that may cause it to become permanently activated. This means the fuel filter heater could remain activated even when the ignition is off, which could lead to a dead battery. It could also lead to overheating, possibly resulting in a fire.
The troubled Alfa Romeo Giulia needs serious help [UPDATE]
Wed, Feb 10 2016UPDATE: An Alfa Romeo US spokesman responded to this article with the following statement: The safety concerns expressed in the story are false. The all-new 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia is designed and engineered to meet or exceed all federal safety regulations. The Alfa Romeo Giulia will begin production for the North American market in the late second-quarter of this year. Alfa Romeo will have a full product portfolio of premium vehicles that includes plans for (8) all-new Alfa Romeo vehicles by 2020. The product launches are prioritized by segment volumes starting this year with the Alfa Romeo Giulia production for North America starting in late Q2, followed by the Midsize-UV – the 2nd largest premium segment in North America. Even on the day you dragged them kicking and screaming and gesticulating wildly to a table full of concrete evidence, Alfa Romeo executives will never admit the Giulia program is going through a tough patch. But it is. Reports say the Giulia, on the eve of production, didn't just fail one internal crash test, but failed the front, side and rear impact tests. Alfa denies it. Automotive News published a report last week saying two suppliers had insisted the Giulia, on the eve of production, didn't just fail one internal crash test, but failed the front-, side-, and rear-impact tests. A third supplier source told us the same thing. Alfa is denying it. It was due on sale in Europe late last year and was supposed to be here in the next month or two. But it wasn't, and it won't. It was to be headlined by a twin-turbo V6 that reportedly howled its way around the Nurburgring 14 seconds faster than the BMW M3 could manage. That second part is only true if you believe it's fair to compare a full lap in a standard BMW M3 with a favorable accumulation of sector times to a development prototype Giulia with 220 pounds stripped out of it and rolling on hand-cut racing slicks. No, me neither. A Promising Start The Giulia's all-new architecture was developed in just two years by a skunkworks of young engineers headed by Fiat's engineering prince, Philippe Krief, and (bafflingly) sited inside Maserati's headquarters complex in Modena, about three hours from Alfa Romeo's own Turin HQ.
