2002 BMW M3 coupe. SMG, Navigation, Harmon Kardon, Premium Package, Memory- Nappa Leather seats, Parking Sensors, Moon Roof, and the list goes on...
This is a fresh trade-in at our local VW dealership. The mileage may be bit high, however, this vehicle has an extensive service history on CarFax and this vehicle runs and drives excellently. The motor is EXCELLENT in this vehicle, you can barley hear it at idle. The SMG is working properly. Steering and braking are excellent with incredible power. All in all it is mechanically sound with NO known issues, it tracks straight down the road with great handling. The rear tires are 45% and the fronts are 65% all evenly worn and matching.
This vehicle has original paint that is in good condition, however, there is body damage to the drivers door (crease upper by window), and lower 1/4 panel has damage with the molding missing. The drivers side front fender has some cracks. The side window moldings are cracked (see pic), and the front lower air dam (aftermarket), has tape around the carbon fiber spoiler lip. Other than that, the body is straight, with normal rock chips and dings consistent with a vehicle that has 166k miles on it.
The interior is nice (sloppy detail job), seats are in good condition, leather is in good condition. The rear headliner on pillars next to the window are coming loose on both sides as well as the windshield on both sides. The navigation disc is missing and the screen has some spots (dead pixels)? on the display. The center cup holders were painted white, the vehicle has dated window tint. The drivers side window sometimes wants to stop when rolling up and come back down, making it challenging to roll completely up. The moon roof sun shade is loose, but slides fine. The left head light is burned out, but the vehicle has nice LED aftermarket tail lights that look nice.
I am attempting to describe as much as possible to make sure you know what you are bidding on.
The vehicle has a clean CarFax and AutoCheck and clear title is in hand.
Message me for additional info or pics.
CARFAX STATES VEHICLE IS WORTH $1470 ABOVE RETAIL VALUE, EVEN WITH THE MILEAGE.

2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo has the biggest price discount in America
Thu, Apr 9 2020Right now, buyers of the 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo are paying an average of $248,000 to drive the brand-new supercar off the dealer lot. That's a hefty chunk of change, but it represents $16,269 off the car's average $264,969 retail price, according to data provided to Autoblog by Truecar. That's the largest discount in America on a new vehicle for the month of April, 2020 when judged by the dollar amount in savings off the sticker. It's not all that uncommon to see a lot of money taken off the sticker price of expensive luxury cars. This month, right behind the Lamborghini sits the 2019 BMW 8 Series with a few bucks shy of $11,000 in savings, which is hardly surprising. Though it's a very sleek and entertaining car in some of its various incarnations, it hasn't exactly proven to be a hot seller for the German automaker. The fact that there are a total of 15 (!) possible configurations probably doesn't help. Two other BMWs, the 2020 7 Series ($10,164 in savings) and the 2019 i8 ($10,145) are also on the top 10 biggest discounts list. In between that BMW sandwich are the 2019 and 2020 editions of the Acura NSX. It doesn't really matter which one a buyer chooses to drive off the lot, either way lopping off more than $10,000 off the sticker price means the electrified supercar will cost just under $150k. For a look at the best new car deals in America based on the percentage discount off their suggested asking prices, check out our monthly recap here. Dealers mobilize to protect their margins from automaker subscription services
Fri, Aug 24 2018Six individual auto brands — Lincoln, Cadillac, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and Volvo — have established or are trialing a vehicle subscription service in the U.S. Three third-party companies — Flexdrive, Clutch and Carma — run brand-agnostic subscription services. And three automakers — Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and General Motors — have also launched short-term rental services. Dealers, afraid of how these trends might affect their margins, are building political and lawmaking campaigns to protect their revenue streams. So far, three states are investigating automaker subscriptions, and Indiana has banned any such service until next year. It's certain that those three states are the first fronts in a long political and legal battle. Powerful dealer franchise laws mandate the existence of dealers and restrict how automakers are allowed to interact with customers to sell a vehicle. On top of that, Bob Reisner, CEO of Nassau Business Funding & Services, said, "Dealers and their associations are among the strongest political operators in many states. They as a group are difficult for state politicians to vote against." In California earlier this year, the state Assembly debated a bill with wide-ranging provisions to protect against what the California New Car Dealers Association called "inappropriate treatment of dealers by manufacturers." One of those provisions stipulated that subscription services need to go through dealers, but that item got stripped out when dealers and manufacturers agreed to discuss the matter further. In Indiana, Gov. Eric Holcomb signed a moratorium on all subscription programs by dealers or manufacturers until May 1, 2019, to give legislators more time to investigate. Dealers in New Jersey have taken their campaign to the state capitol, asking that the cars in subscription programs get a different classification for registration purposes. Automakers run the current subscription services and own the vehicles. Sign-ups and financial transactions happen online or through apps, leaving dealers to do little more than act as fulfillment centers to various degrees, with little legal recourse as to compensation amounts when they're called on to deliver or service a car. That's a bad base to build on for business owners who've sunk millions of dollars into their operations.
Best and worst car brands of 2022 according to Consumer Reports
Thu, Feb 17 2022It's that time again, Consumer Reports this morning lifting the curtain on its 2022 Annual Car Brand rankings and its 10 Top Picks in the car, crossover, and truck category. Drumroll, please: This year, Subaru climbs two spots to claim the winner's circle, having come third the last two years. Last year, Mazda climbed three spots from 2020 to take the crown. This year, Mazda slipped to second, BMW taking the last spot on the podium, also a one-spot drop from 2021. Six automakers in the top 10 hailed from Japan, which is one more than last year, and five luxury makers occupied the top 10, which is two more than last year. And South Korean representation didn't crack the top this year, after Hyundai managed tenth last year. The seven makes after BMW are: Honda, Lexus, Audi, Porsche, Mini, Toyota, and Infiniti. The magazine and testing concern says its Brand Report Card "[reveals] which automakers are producing the most well-performing, safe, and reliable vehicles based on CR’s independent testing and member surveys," and that "Brands that rise to the top tend to have the most consistent performance across their model lineups." The domestics also took steps back among the 32 OEMs ranked on the 2022 card. Chrysler and Buick were the domestic carmakers who made last year's top 10 in eighth and ninth, respectively. This year, Buick dropped to eleventh, Chrysler to thirteenth. Dodge went from fourteenth to sixteenth. CR continues to ding Tesla's yoke steerer, the not-exactly-natural handhold responsible for the electric carmaker going from sixteenth last year to twenty-third this year.
