This is a SUPER CLEAN 1996 BMW M3. This body style is referred to as E36, It is a white two door with low miles.

This car has been garage kept it's whole life. I have owned this car for over 8 years and have only put 17,000 miles on this car in this time frame. This car is immaculate inside and out. There aren't any dents on the outside and zero rips in the interior. It drives great and is very tight. I run only 93 octane gas in it. I have also used only factory BMW oil filters and BMW full synthetic motor oil. This car hasn't ever been smoked in.

This car has never been wrecked. It has original body panels and original paint.

It has an Active Autowerke Supercharger kit installed on it.

The kit was installed on the vehicle at 85,000 miles.

Key Features of this kit:
    • Rotrex C38 Supercharger
    • Mounting bracket, pulleys and belt
    • 6 larger high-flow fuel injectors
    • Active Autowerke Air Filter
    • Active Autowerke Dyno-Tuned Software
    • All mounting hardware, plumbing, hoses and clamps

Performance Specs of this kit:
  • Power              :      360 BHP @ 6900 rpm
  • Torque             :      300 ft-lbs @ 5700 rpm
  • Boost Level      :      7.0 psi

The vehicle has staggered gun metal CSL-rep wheels installed on it that are 18" x 8.5" in the front and 18" x 9.5" in the rear. Tires are in great condition. I also have the factory staggered 17" ///M Countours if you would prefer these wheels instead.

Car has a Stainless Steel cat-back Active Autowerke Gen 3 exhaust installed on it.

It also has an Active Autowerke Differential Support Bracket (DSB) installed on it for extra support and tightness.

When the supercharger was installed the following parts were replaced to ensure maximum reliability:
    • Oxygen (O2) Sensors
    • Air Mass Sensor
    • Crank Case Vent Valve (CCV)
    • Thermostat
    • Driveshaft center support bushing and bearing
    • Transmission to Driveshaft flex-disk (Guibo)

The German company VDO makes gauges for this vehicle from the factory. A VDO boost/vacuum and water temp gauges were installed to keep an eye on key engine metrics. The gauges are setup to have factory amber lights when lit up and dim with the factory dimmer switch,

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I will take cashier's checks or money orders. I will not release vehicle or title until all money has cleared my bank. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will help facilitate shipping process if necessary.

Creative minds build lightweight Lambos and Bugattis with cardboard and pedals

Fri, May 1 2020

As manufacturers continue their quests to reduce the weight of their vehicles, they switch out heavy steel for lighter materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber, titanium, and sometimes even magnesium. But they've been ignoring a cheap alternative that is widely available: cardboard. Leave it to two visionaries from Vietnam to crack the code and build supercars and superbikes out of the versatile paper product. Vietnamese YouTube channel NHET TV, via CarScoops, might only have a year under its belt, but in that short amount of time, it has amassed more than 350,000 subscribers. What initially started out as a random collection of harmless pranks, trolls, and makeshift time-killers has blossomed into an entertaining channel of ultra-low-budget car and motorcycle builds.  The first video posted is a paper plane competition, but the second video shows the first appearance of a vehicle, a Ducati Panigale made out of cardboard and a bicycle. This isn't like Paper Mario with a two-dimensional silhouette, it's a close-enough three-dimensional replica. That project was admittedly pretty rough, but the work has only improved as the channel has matured.  Throughout the past year, NHET TV has stuck with high-performance transportation for inspiration. They've built projects that mimic a Lamborghini Sian, a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a Ferrari LaFerrari FXX K, a Bugatti Chiron, a BMW S 1000 RR, and a Yamaha YZF-R6, among others. Some of the builds, such as the Bugatti, go beyond the typical cardboard-body-on-bicycle-frame. As seen in the video below, the NHET TV built a tubular frame for the car using spare bike parts that they welded together. The Bug even has a custom steering column and steering wheel, though the high-quality model continues to use bike chains and pedals for power. The SVJ might be the most advanced vehicle, as it has a real engine for power and has custom reverse gearing. These guys are creating fun out of the limited resources they do have, and that's what right now is all about. Enjoy the videos below and watch more on the full NHET TV channel.

2014 BMW Z4 offers minor refinements with a majorly orange wrapper

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

The redesigned BMW Z4 was rolled out onto the show floor at the Detroit Auto Show, with the example in question being an sDrive35is variant, with the just-less-than-screaming Hyper Orange Package. The exclusive colorway includes the metallic orange paintjob, as well as trim-specific seats, stitching and accents for the interior. More importantly, the 35is driveline means that you'll find a high-output version of the turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 engine, here outputting 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Two slightly less ferociously powered versions of the Z4 will be available for the new model year, too (both familiar). The Z4 sDrive35i is good for 300 hp and 300 lb-ft, while the still-potent sDrive28i features a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder making 240 hp and 260 lb-ft.
You'll fine some more details about the 2014 BMW Z4 in our original news story about the model here, or by scrolling down to read the full BMW press release.

BMW V8-powered Ford Model A is the definition of Hot Rod

Thu, 20 Jun 2013

Today, hotrodding has a pretty staid definition. Take one classic American car, add one classic American V8, sprinkle with tire smoke and you pretty much have every hot rod to roll out of a shop in the last 40 years. Mike Borroughs knows it wasn't always this way. Once upon a time, getting your bucket to go faster meant grabbing whatever parts were lazing about the yard, bolting them together with a bit of ingenuity and laughing your way down the quarter mile. It's in that spirit that Burroughs built his 1928 Ford Model A.
Rather than turn to the tired flathead or the common Chevrolet small block, Burroughs plucked a 4.0-liter V8 from a 1995 BMW 7 Series. With 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, the engine has no trouble shuffling the old A around town. He had to build a custom chassis to get everything to cooperate, but the result is a 1,500-pound heathen that looks built to harass dry lake beds. You can check it out in the video below. Be warned, the soundtrack by Hanni el Khatib may not be safe for work - awesomeness of this caliber rarely is.
