BMW increases i3 price by $1,075 for 2015

The BMW i3 did well in its first year on the market, selling 6,02 units in the US and 16,052 units worldwide. For 2015, it gets total price increase of $1,075, partially reflecting new standard equipment that was formerly an option and a bump in its destination cost. The 2014 starting price of $41,350 becomes $42,400 for 2015, an extra $1,050, and the destination increase of $25 to $950 makes the out-the-door price $43,350. The range-extended model goes up by the same amount, from $45,200 last year to $46,250 this year. After destination, it's $47,200 out the door. For 2015, DC Fast Charging is included, no longer a $700 option, thanks to the expansion of the fast-charging network through a collaboration between BMW, Volkswagen and Chargepoint. Beyond that, satellite radio and heated seats migrate to the standard features list. We have a feeling none of this will hurt the plug-in car's sales momentum this year. BMW stripes up X6 M Design Edition

There's something that makes red, dark blue and light blue stripes running up the fenders and down the flanks of a white car just that much more eye-catching. Whether it's a Martini Racing liveried racecar or something from the BMW skunkworks, they just draw long looks nothing else can. And here's the latest.
The BMW X6 M Design Edition upgrades on the standard X6 M with such special touches as 21-inch alloys, a carbon front splitter and rear splitter, black grilles and diffusor, and of course, those iconic racing stripes, which come as an option on this model.
The interior has been done up in black leather with Mugello red accents and piano black trim. Only 100 individually-numbered examples will be offered, and given that this one's wearing German plates, we doubt there's much chance many (if any) will make it Stateside. But then again, you could always spec up your own X6 M with most if not all of the same trim and forgo the little number plate on the dashboard.

2012 Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn offers a tutorial in cars to come

The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is a showcase for some of the world's most exquisite vintage vehicles, but if newer metal is more your speed, the Concept Car Lawn is the place to be.
This year saw models from Bugatti, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren and Bentley as well as SRT, Hennessey, Infiniti and Lexus among others. The ultimate sampler platter of exotic and concept vehicles saw the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse mingle with the Lamborghini Urus Concept and the mighty Hennessey Venom GT, though we found ourselves particularly smitten with the BMW Zagato Roadster and the Aston Martin Vanquish.
Not that we could go wrong anywhere we looked. The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed seemed perfectly content parked on the manicured putting green, as did the McLaren MP4-12C Spider. Get cozy with the full gallery below to see the smattering of metal on the lawn.
