This is my absolutely stunning 2012 BMW 650i Convertible.  It is finished in gorgeous Deep Sea Blue Metallic with Ivory White Nappa Leather interior and Black convertible top.  It is powered by a 4.4 liter, 32 valve 400 horsepower Twin Turbo V-8.  The original list price of this fine automobile was $105,275.

In addition to the long list of standard features this car has the following options:
  • Cold Weather Package - $750 - Heated Steering Wheel, Ski Bag, Heated Front Seats

EXISTING FACTORY WARRANTY

This car is covered by the BMW Factory 4-year/50,000 mile warranty until August 1, 2015 or 50,000 miles.  All scheduled maintenance is also covered until August 1, 2015 or 50,000 miles.

BMW CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED WARRANTY

This car is also covered by the BMW 6-year/100,000 mile Certified Pre-Owned Warranty until August 1, 2017 or 100,000 miles!  That gives you a total of 3 more years or 80,000 more miles of BMW warranty coverage!  The BMW CPO Warranty is honored at ANY BMW dealer.

There are absolutely no issues with this car.  The CarFax report is clean and shows no accidents or other losses.  All service is up to date and the car needs nothing!

The car will come complete with owner's manual, 2 original smart keys, carpeted floor mats, BMW all-weather floor mats and original window sticker.

I absolutely love this car but my needs have changed and find that I now need a larger sedan.  Please feel free to make me an offer and I'll do my best to work with you to make a deal.

The title is a clear Illinois title.  I have a loan on the car with BMW Financial so the title is in their possession.  If the buyer is a cash buyer the loan balance can be sent directly to BMW Financial to secure release of lien and title with the remainder of the purchase price paid to me.  If the buyer is financing the car, the buyer's financial institution will most likely want to work directly with BMW Financial to pay off the loan.  There may be other options to complete the sale also, I'm flexible.

Buyer will be responsible for picking up the car in Central Illinois or making shipping arrangements.  I would be willing to deliver the car for fuel cost and a plane ticket home.  I can even deliver the car a shorter distance for no additional charge.  Again, I'm willing to work with you.  The car will not be delivered or shipped until the purchase price is paid in full.

As a private seller I will not collect any sales tax or registration fees.  The buyer will pay these fees when the car is registered to the new owner.  Some states have a reduced or no tax at all for a private (non-dealer) sale.

If you would like to come look at the car just let me know.  I'm in Champaign-Urbana Illinois and am readily available to show the car.

If you have questions, please let me know and I will respond promptly.  Thanks for looking and good luck!

Please be sure to scroll through all 12 photos.  I will consider all offers, and might even be interested in trades.  This is a great no-issues car and will try to work out a deal.  Thanks!

BMW 1 Series getting a small nose job

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

As BMW prepares to launch its new 2 Series lineup, it appears that the current 1 Series is going to get a little attention for itself. Based on these spy photos, the 1 Series hatchback (F20/F21), which is not offered in the US, will be getting a minor facelift in the near future.
From what we can see in these images, the updated 1 Series will definitely be getting a tweaked front end, with most of the attention focusing on the air intakes and grille. Our shooter tells us that it is possible that the headlights may yet be reworked in some way by the time we see this car in production form. It still isn't clear if we'll ever see this bodystyle or the next-gen 1 Series in the US, but our most recent report seems to indicate that the car's fortunes will depend somewhat on how well the Mercedes CLA-Class and Audi A3 sell.

BMW almost ready to roll out new 2 Series cabriolet

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

The 2 Series is a relatively new member of the BMW family, having been spun off of the 1 Series (itself one of the company's youngest lines) just last year. So far the range has been split between the Active Tourer and the 2 Series Coupe, but soon the latter will breed a new compact convertible to take the place of the outgoing 1 Series cabriolet, and here we have our best look at it yet.
Spied with the most minimal camouflage and its top down while undergoing its final rounds of development testing, this pre-production 2 Series cabrio looks about ready for show time. While the Active Tourer is based on a different front-drive platform, this convertible is, as you might have guessed, essentially a 2 Series Coupe with a folding fabric roof. That means rear-wheel drive (or potentially all-wheel drive if BMW extends its availability from the coupe to the convertible) win either 228i or M235i specification - both of them turbocharged, the former with a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four and the latter with the 320-hp, 3.0-liter inline-six.
Considering that BMW got an approximately $8k premium for the 1 Series convertible over the coupe, expect the 2 Series cabrio to start at a little over $40k for the 228i and top out at around $53k for the M235i xDrive convertible. That is, assuming BMW offers it in that top spec, because at that rate we're getting perilously close to the $54,900 base price of the 435i convertible.

Renderings may show upcoming BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe

Thu, 26 Dec 2013

We've already shown you spy images of the latest member of the BMW Gran Coupe family, the 4 Series Gran Coupe. Following the trend of the larger 6 Series Gran Coupe, the 4 Series variant grafts a spare set of doors onto its two-door body.
Now, the f30post forum has come up with what it says are patent drawings of the new 4GC (originally from Chinese site Autohome.com), giving a glimpse of what the coupe-sedan-thingy looks like without its camo in the way. What we're seeing is seemingly a mix of the 3 Series GT (noticeable around the rear window) with the larger Gran Coupe styling, while retaining the current 4 Series front end.
We can't say it looks great, but as these are merely renderings, it's far too early for us to come to a final conclusion on the overall look of the 4 Series Gran Coupe. Have a look up top at the patent images. We've also included our spy photos of the new Gran Coupe below. Let us know what you think of the latest niche product from BMW down in Comments.
