For your consideration is a 2007 BMW 650I with the sport package and three sets of rims. This is a highly desirable color combination Sapphire black exterior with a Ch^ateau red interior. This car has every conceivable option, the cold weather package adds heat to the steering wheel and seats. The heads up display shows all information to the driver including navigation. See the window sticker under pictures for more detail. Overall, this car is in very good condition with minor cosmetic flaws. It is mechanically perfect and has just been serviced. This car is the perfect blend of luxury and performance. It's a smooth cruiser until you push the sport mode button and shift the manual automatic to turn it into a high-performance exotic car. This car comes with an AFE cold air intake that adds a bit to the considerable horsepower and torque of the BMW motor which propels this car from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds. This car is an absolute head turner and draws stares from people wherever you go! The inside cradles you with unbelievably supportive and comfortable ch^ateau red dakota leather seats which look spectacular with the dark birch wood trim. The fit and finish on this BMW model is absolutely outstanding. Here's what KBB says: High-powered, high-profile and highly desirable, BMW's premium 650i Coupe makes an exclusive statement in a very exclusive realm. There's no denying that this 2+2 offers a stunning driving experience for those who can afford its price of entry. A potent V8 engine, superbly responsive chassis and exceptional amenities make it a serious competitor to prestige coupes from Jaguar, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, in many cases delivering more absolute performance for considerably less money when comparably equipped. This car comes with brand-new Beyern chrome wheels – that have not yet been mounted on the car. Beyern Wheels are designed exclusively for BMW motor cars. All Beyern wheels are perfectly hub-centric and are made to the tightest tolerances. These wheels are of higher quality than the original OEM wheels (check out beyernwheels.com for more info). Mounted on these wheels are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A runflat tires. One tire is brand-new and the other three are in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. Currently mounted on the car are Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires, so you'll be ready for every season. Also included are the original wheels that came with the car. Please email me and I can send the carfax, it shows this car was maintained at Park Ave BMW of Maywood, NJ until 2012 when I purchased that car and took excellent care of it since then. Happy Bidding I hate to sell this beauty but I am in the market for a four door. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early, it also may have slightly more miles when purchased.

2014 BMW M235i

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

We know a number of BMW owners who reside in the Munich brand's core demographic - upper-five- and six-figure professionals who like to keep their automotive brand credentials as highly respected among their peers as their alma maters or the letters after their names. Before heading to Las Vegas to drive the new M235i, we asked four of those owners, "What did you think of the E30 3 Series?" Although phrased differently, every one of them had the same answer: "What's that?"
You can counter that we just happened to query a tiny and ignorant sample size, and it's possible that you're right. Nevertheless, in every case,we were speaking to BMW's core demographic, the increasing legion of buyers who have fostered another year of record growth and are responsible for BMW retaining its global luxury title for nine straight years. Question that, and we'll refer you to BMW's marketing department, its several hundred PowerPoint slides and several thousand pages of research that prove the point.
That second-generation E30 3 Series built a name, a brand and an entire segment by defining BMW-ness as superlative driving dynamics meets luxury - shortened to the phrase, "The Ultimate Driving Machine." Thirty years later, just being a part of BMW-ness and luxury is enough for the majority of buyers. The superlative handling, that's optional, and 150 hairy guys meet every Tuesday to keep the old religion going, light torches, sing dirges to the siren long gone and bang on their keyboards about the apostasies of modern buyers.

2015 BMW X4 gets its small-screen debut

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

It's easy to dismiss the 2015 BMW X4. On one hand, the high-style crossover seems more like a boardroom decision than a practical one. In a world with the 3 Series, 4 Series, X3, 3 Series GT and 4 Series Gran Coupe, is BMW really being inundated with requests for a baby X6? Of course, when we finally got behind the wheel of the CUV for our First Drive, it proved rather entertaining, and certainly the X6's global sales success suggests that it's worth the relatively low-cost risk for the Bavarian automaker.
Now, it's the general public's chance to weigh in on the latest crossover Bimmer and vote with their dollars. The X4 is just hitting showrooms in the US, and BMW is beginning its marketing campaign for it with the slogan "Embrace the Unknown." The first TV ad shows off the CUV driving through the world's major cities as they undulate like the rolling ocean. A woman flatly says phrases starting with "Go," while a synth-heavy score plays underneath that wouldn't be out of place over the end credits in an '80s sci-fi movie.
Visually, it's actually kind of a cool ad and evokes some of the special effects from Inception. Focusing on an urban atmosphere is probably a good idea, too, because the percentage of X4s going offroad is likely to be in the low single digits, if that. Now, let's see if BMW buyers are willing to embrace the unknown of the X4. Scroll down to watch it for yourself.

Creative minds build lightweight Lambos and Bugattis with cardboard and pedals

Fri, May 1 2020

As manufacturers continue their quests to reduce the weight of their vehicles, they switch out heavy steel for lighter materials such as aluminum, carbon fiber, titanium, and sometimes even magnesium. But they've been ignoring a cheap alternative that is widely available: cardboard. Leave it to two visionaries from Vietnam to crack the code and build supercars and superbikes out of the versatile paper product. Vietnamese YouTube channel NHET TV, via CarScoops, might only have a year under its belt, but in that short amount of time, it has amassed more than 350,000 subscribers. What initially started out as a random collection of harmless pranks, trolls, and makeshift time-killers has blossomed into an entertaining channel of ultra-low-budget car and motorcycle builds.  The first video posted is a paper plane competition, but the second video shows the first appearance of a vehicle, a Ducati Panigale made out of cardboard and a bicycle. This isn't like Paper Mario with a two-dimensional silhouette, it's a close-enough three-dimensional replica. That project was admittedly pretty rough, but the work has only improved as the channel has matured.  Throughout the past year, NHET TV has stuck with high-performance transportation for inspiration. They've built projects that mimic a Lamborghini Sian, a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, a Ferrari LaFerrari FXX K, a Bugatti Chiron, a BMW S 1000 RR, and a Yamaha YZF-R6, among others. Some of the builds, such as the Bugatti, go beyond the typical cardboard-body-on-bicycle-frame. As seen in the video below, the NHET TV built a tubular frame for the car using spare bike parts that they welded together. The Bug even has a custom steering column and steering wheel, though the high-quality model continues to use bike chains and pedals for power. The SVJ might be the most advanced vehicle, as it has a real engine for power and has custom reverse gearing. These guys are creating fun out of the limited resources they do have, and that's what right now is all about. Enjoy the videos below and watch more on the full NHET TV channel.
