All work was performed at high end body shops around the LA area, ones that ONLY deal with high end cars.

There is absolutely no aftermarket engine work done.

1 year left of the EasyCare Stated Care transferable warranty which covers almost everything - literally..so drive off knowing things are good!!
Please visit EasyCare's website and view what is covered as I am unable to post direct link here.

I purchased this car with about 50k miles from Beverly Hills BMW and have babied it since..
Car is in overall excellent condition. Body is great with some general blemishes that any car would encounter at 70k miles, nothing major at all.

This is an excellent 1st time vehicle if you are looking for something with work already done to it, OR  perfect project car if you wish to make slight modifications.

There is only one existing issue mechanically with the car and that is a cracked o2 secondary emissions pipe - which I actually have sitting in the trunk just have not had the time to replace. This does not affect driving 1 bit, it is simply  pipe that scans the car for emission leaks, there are NO leaks
This is a Do it Yourself job or any good indy can perform it as well. The car did just pass emission inspection a month ago and another one is not due for another 2 years.

I also have the original front and rear bumpers along with OEM Rims and tires - if one was to sell these separately, you can easily pull in 2k from the sale.

I have taken on a new position at my work which requires me to travel and meet and greet with clients - thus I will need to get into something more practical. Yes, practical, something I have never been like with my cars, but I have no choice at this point.

Any questions, contact me at any time!!

This Or That: 1980 Oldsmobile 442 vs. 1989 BMW 635CSi [w/poll]

Thu, 09 Oct 2014

The last time I roped a coworker into an automotive debate, I lost. Resoundingly, I might add. Still, 2,385 voters chose to cast their lots for the Fiat 500 Abarth, as opposed to 5,273 choosing the Ford Fiesta ST, and so I can rest easy in the knowledge that at least 30 percent of you, dear readers, see things my way. I still like to think we have more fun, too.
My loss in the first round of our This or That series, in which two Autoblog editors pick sides on any given topic and then attempt to explain why the other is completely wrong, didn't stop me from picking another good-natured fight, this time with Senior Editor Seyth Miersma. Last time, our chosen sides were eerily similar in design, albeit quite different in actual execution. This time, our vehicular peculiarities couldn't seemingly fall any further from one another: A 1980 Oldsmobile 442 wouldn't seem to match up in comparison to a 1989 BMW 635CSi.
How did we come up with such disparate contenders? Simple, really. Seyth and I mutually agreed to choose a car that's currently for sale online. It had to be built and sold in the 1980s, and it had to be a coupe. The price cap was set at $10,000. The fruits of our searching labors will henceforth be disputed, with Seyth on the side of the Germans, and myself arguing in favor of the Rocket Olds. Am I setting myself up for another lopsided loss?

Toyota launches BMW-powered Verso in Europe

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

BMW makes some sweet-revving engines, but its own vehicles aren't the only ones running BMW engines. So do the latest from Rolls-Royce and Mini, of course, as well as a handful of Peugeots and Citroëns thanks to its joint engine program with PSA. Wiesmann uses BMW engines, as did the famous McLaren F1. And now we can add one more to the list.
That would be the Toyota Verso, a Corolla-based minivan which Toyota builds in Turkey and sells in Europe and a few other markets overseas. The Verso is also now officially the first beneficiary of the partnership between Toyota and BMW as the Japanese automaker has released the MPV with BMW's 1.6-liter turbodiesel four.
The 111-horsepower engine is coupled to a Toyota transmission and joins the Verso range as the fourth (and least powerful) engine in the lineup, alongside the 122hp 2.0 diesel and the gasoline options with 1.6 liters and 160 hp and 1.8 for 180. Future collaborations between the two automakers will include fuel-cell development, a new joint sportscar platform, lightweight bodywork research and a new generation of lithium-air batteries. See the press release below for further details.

BMW M3 and M4 CSL not in the cards

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

We aren't sure whether to file this one under "good news" or "bad news." BMW confirmed to Top Gear that there "are no plans" for lightweight versions of the new M3 and M4, in the same vein as the E46 M3 CSL (despite rumors to the contrary). The reason?
"There wasn't a CSL on the previous generation, and the way we look at it is like this: the CSL was great because it had this real focus on lightweight engineering. But we've already done that with these new cars. We've made them as light as possible - they come in under 1500 kilograms (3,306 pounds), which for a car like this is incredible," said Matt Collins, BMW's product manager for small to medium cars.
Now, as much as we love the idea of a hardcore version of any car, we appreciate BMW's point of view that the newest Ms are already as light and tough as they need to be. Collins elaborated, saying, "Rather than doing a halfway house to begin with and then rolling out a CSL, we thought we'd make the 'real' car as light as we possibly could. So we've no plans whatsoever to make a lighter, harder version just yet."
