Rear passenger window will not roll down, can hear the motor working but no movement. Paint has several spots with clear coat peeling. Rear sunshade is in the up position and not rolling down."

This car has very low miles for the year. It currently has a little over 102k on it but the mileage will slowly go up as it is my daily driver until sold. I wouldn't hesitate to get in this car and take a road trip. Gas mileage on the highway is amazing, I get around 27 mpg on the highway and around town is around 18 mpg.

The car has some minor issues but no mechanical issues that I know of. The rear passenger window recently stopped working, I can hear the motor kick on but it doesn't move. Not sure what is the issue. The rear sunshade is in the up position and doesn't go down, not sure of this issue either. The pixels in the gauge cluster info center are starting to go out, there are some spots missing but I haven't had trouble reading it and same info can be found though the stereo, this is very common on these cars. The clear coat is peeling in several places, mostly the roof and trunk. It's peeling very lightly on the front fenders. These are the only issues that I know of.

The car runs and drives amazing. The motor is smooth and has amazing power whether cruising at 70 or 120. I'm only selling because I miss having a roadster and am going to buy another Miata as a run around. Stereo works great and sounds amazing, car has the premium sound system with cassette and cd changer. A/C and heater work great, I normally just set it to auto and let it control the temp for me. The tires are all continental extreme contact with about 60% tread left. Car handles amazing and rides extremely smooth.

KBB value for this vehicle in just fair condition is $6,290

NADA value for this vehicle is $6,912 (this is what most companies use for loan values)

Europe's BMW 1 Series hatch caught looking fresh faced

Sat, 23 Aug 2014

Hey, remember the BMW 1 Series? Yes, German brand's successors to the US-market coupe and convertible have one-upped the old car to wear the 2 Series designation now, but in other markets, our No. 1 crush still lives on, and as evidenced in these spy shots, the entry-level hatch appears to be undergoing a modest facelift.
We've spotted prototypes of the refreshed 1 Series before, with the majority of the car's changes focused around the front fascia. This time around, we're seeing the three-door variant, with wheels seemingly fitting of a Sport or even M Sport trim.
Of course, this One's not for US, as the small BMW isn't slated to come to our market anytime soon. Click through the gallery above to see what we're missing.

BMW 6 Series Convertible gets a little work done for 2015

Sat, 02 Aug 2014

Truth be told, I've never really found the modern BMW 6 Series to be a particularly attractive car, in Coupe, Convertible, or sedan Gran Coupe forms. This current generation certainly looks a whole lot better than the Bangle-fied Six that came before it to my eyes, but on the whole, I find much of the car's design to be fussy and awkward. There's a new 6 Series on the way, scheduled to arrive sometime in 2017 or 2018, but to hold us over until then, BMW is freshening its current range, as evidenced by this convertible prototype our trusty spies recently caught testing.
Will the changes to the current 6 Series be an improvement? Perhaps. Up front, there are restyled headlamps and a new front bumper, and at the rear, BMW has redesigned the LED taillamps to bring them more in line with the rest of the company's offerings. Aside from those modest tweaks, we don't expect much more to change on the Big Six - the interior will likely carry over with some minor tweaks (or new colors), and it's possible the powertrains could be massaged gently for gains in either power, efficiency, or both.
Whether you think this new look is pretty or not, this freshened 6 Series will likely debut sometime next year, while BMW's engineers and designers craft the all-new version. See it from several angles in our gallery, above.

Hamann M6 Gran Coupe is all flared and shiny

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Oh, Hamann. After rolling out the ridiculously pink Mystère at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the tuning company has worked its mirror-finishing magic on the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, debuting this, the aptly named "Mirror" at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sure is shiny, and a full 40 millimeters wider than the standard M6 GC.
Hamann says that the, um, "tailor-made suit" exterior treatment is made up of a new front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and wing extensions out back. And the end result is... well, let's just call it noticeable. The special BMW rides on unique 21-inch wheels and sits a full 25 millimeters closer to the ground, as well.
As far as we can tell, Hamann hasn't upgraded the M6's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 at all, though there's a new sport exhaust system that "depending on the application area, either noisily announce its presence or purr sportily." Sounds like it's as loud as its newfound appearance.
