I am offering for sale my 98 BMW 528i. It is gold in color and automatic with 163,500miles. This car has some amazing get up and go. You can be going well over a 100 really easily. All electronic features are still in working condition as well. Just to name a few; heated seats and steering wheel, onboard computer, BMW premium sound w/6 disk changer in the trunk, power seats, memory driver seat, dual digital climate control, power sunroof etc. However, the remote unlock/lock does not work and hasn't worked since I purchased the car in 2011. I put new brakes all around in June 2012, new rotors and suspension in November 2012, new thermostat, radiator, and passenger seat airbag sensor in 2011.
The are a couple of issues, all of which I have shown in the pictures. I hit a curb when parking back in February 2012 and the pressure broke the cover for the passenger side fog light. The light is still functioning and just needs a cover. This can be a very easy replacement even from a junk yard. The car could use a paint job because I work at a mall so the car has been hit by the doors of other cars(mainly the front passenger door) which I have shown as well and the driver side was keyed as well as someone slightly side swiped the rear driver door(small dent). There is also some glue residue on the windows from when I had tint on the car. This can be cleaned but I haven't had the time. The driver door interior panel could be replaced as it has significant wear.
I am asking $4000 obo. I am flexible to any reasonable offer. The average between NADA and KBB is $4444.50
P.S. Since I watch The People's Court everyday I need to mention that this is an AS IS sale, no warranty provided and I am not responsible for anything that may occur with the car upon the completion of this transaction. Upon the buyer receiving the title, I am released from any and all obligation specified or implied in relation to this vehicle.

Next BMW X6 to be larger, more aggressive
Tue, 16 Apr 2013If the current BMW X6, introduced in 2008, is looking a bit too bland for your tastes, have no fear as the next-generation model is reportedly going to be larger and more aggressive than its predecessor.
Autocar is reporting that an insider has revealed the all-new second-generation X6 will make its world debut at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show, going on sale just after summer. More aggressive styling will help BMW distinguish its sportier X6 from BMW's more practical models, such as the X3 and X5, said the source.
The next X6 will again share platforms with the X5, but it will be stretched slightly to provide second-row passengers with more legroom. Powerplants will also likely mirror those of its mainstream cousin, including a range of turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines and a range-topping M model (the 2013 BMW X6 M is show above).
Company car offers in decline, but not at The Cheesecake Factory [w/poll]
Sat, 22 Jun 2013As businesses look to keep high-level employees happy, it seems that use of company cars can still be an effective method, although fewer companies are employing it. According to Businessweek, only about 25 percent of companies offer company vehicles as a perk, while less than half give allowances for employees to use their personal vehicles for work purposes.
The report says that one business still in the practice of handing out company cars is The Cheesecake Factory, which offers the benefit to top managers. And we're not talking about some econobox, either. The article indicates the restaurant chain hands out BMWs on a three-year basis - although the company's own report says that the type of vehicle "varies with the executive's level."
Still, we mostly agree with the article's conclusion that money is the best way to keep employees or attract new ones, even if a corporate car is a big perk. What do you think? Let us know, in the poll below, whether a company car could sway you to work for a certain company (not just the Cheesecake factory, where the "Glamburgers" portion of the menu alone is enough to keep a guy hanging around).
2016 BMW X5 M is big and bold, not beautiful
Wed, 19 Nov 2014Awesome as it is, the BMW X5 M has never really been an attractive machine. Big and bulgy are the themes here, and that's only more pronounced with the X5's most recent refresh. But no matter, the X5 M has never been about looks - for this machine, it's all about performance, and BMW's hi-po crossover absolutely delivers in this regard.
Under the hood is the familiar 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8, though power has been boosted to 567 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque - healthy increases of 12 and 53, respectively, compared to the outgoing model. Hitting 60 miles per hour is said to take just four seconds, which is damn impressive considering this thing weighs well over 5,000 pounds.
But the X5 M has always been shockingly good to drive, with limits you'll never reach except in the most hardcore track scenarios (which we'd really like to see, by the way). It's not the prettiest thing ever, but that's okay. It's not exactly cheap, though, with prices starting at $99,650. Woof.
