1997 BMW 528I

NO RESERVE

Up for sale is a 1997 BMW 528I. The vehicle has 224,000 Miles.

The exterior color is white, with a tan interior.

Car was being used as an everyday vehicle but then developed a power steering leak and has been parked ever since (3 months or so).

The car DOES run, but has a check engine light, and could use some work.

Car can be driven but it is difficult to steer with no power steering.

If power steering fluid is poured in the car has power steering for about 2 days before it leaks out.

Car has a rebuilt title, was originally a theft recovery.

Have had this car for about 10 years or so, but just got a new car, trying to free up some space.

The front passenger fender has been poorly repainted and the molding around the vehicle has been repainted as you can see in the pictures.

An easy project for someone looking for an affordable luxury car.

This car is 16 years old, and as a result is being sold as-is.

Excavator in China bashes BMW and Jeep out of the way

This Chinese construction site apparently has a zero tolerance policy towards obstacles getting in the way of work. When blocked by a Jeep and a BMW, the operator of this excavator pushes the two vehicles out of the way like they're toys. The Bimmer gets the brunt of the abuse, with the sedan getting lodged up against a fence. The exact context of this clip isn't entirely known, but The Mirror in Britain speculates the vehicles are illegally parked. But that doesn't explain why the excavator crashes through a gate later in the video. Also, this doesn't appear to be the case of a rogue operator taking out some frustrations, because a man with a walkie-talkie is leading the way and seemingly directing the destruction. Hamann M6 Gran Coupe is all flared and shiny

Oh, Hamann. After rolling out the ridiculously pink Mystère at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the tuning company has worked its mirror-finishing magic on the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, debuting this, the aptly named "Mirror" at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sure is shiny, and a full 40 millimeters wider than the standard M6 GC.
Hamann says that the, um, "tailor-made suit" exterior treatment is made up of a new front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and wing extensions out back. And the end result is... well, let's just call it noticeable. The special BMW rides on unique 21-inch wheels and sits a full 25 millimeters closer to the ground, as well.
As far as we can tell, Hamann hasn't upgraded the M6's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 at all, though there's a new sport exhaust system that "depending on the application area, either noisily announce its presence or purr sportily." Sounds like it's as loud as its newfound appearance.
