Bmw 535i 2008 82xxx Miles Premium Package on 2040-cars
Aurora, Colorado, United States
Selling a BMW 535i If interested you can text or call me at
303-887-76zero six. Miles as of right now is 82400, will go up as it is
my daily driver. Title is in my name and I do not owe the bank, clean of
liens. I am willing to pick up potential buyers at Denver International Aiport.
First things first, the car is a California Manufacturer buy back car. Just making sure any potential buyer is aware of this as the Colorado Title is clean and makes no mention of a buy back title. I understand that some may be hesitant so I have no issue with a per-purchase inspection at a local bmw dealer. If you buy the car after the inspection I will deduct the inspection fee from the final purchase price. I also have the car fax for those who are interested. All maintenance up to date, oil changed, breaks are good for another 30000 miles etc as show in the pictures. Comes with comfort seats, navigation and premium package in addition to the standard 535i equipment such as bluetooth, i drive system, aux in, power folding mirrors, 3.0 liter twin turbo charged engine with 300hp and 300 torque etc. This was originally a California car so no heated seats. Picture of the car speaks for itself, as it is a used car, there are a few minor scratches etc, nothing out of the ordinary. Recently just had the battery changed (400 dollars) and windshield wipers changed. There are two items on the car that is not stock, first the air intake is an after market designed to better cool the turbo. The original air intake will be included. Second, the parking light was switched to blue colored instead of the original white, the original bulbs will also be included with the car. The two blue bulbs are of different resistance so its giving the warning light saying parking and fog lights are not working, which is not the case. The error message will cease once you put the original parking light bulbs back in. |

Tesla, BMW and Nissan meeting in secret to discuss charging tech
Tue, Jun 17 2014It's interesting what's happening in the electric vehicle field. It used to be that BMW and Tesla were competitors. Then – and of course they're still competing, especially in the public mind – they were working together on ... something. Maybe. And now, the Financial Times reports that the two luxury automakers are meeting with Nissan. Again, maybe. The scuttlebutt is that the three companies are interested in working together on something to do with charging electric vehicles, potentially a global recharging standard. Currently, when it comes to fast charging, BMW uses the SAE Combo standard, Nissan uses CHAdeMO and Tesla uses its own Superchargers. The meeting was prompted by Tesla opening of all of its patents the other day, FT says. Speaking during the recent annual shareholder meeting, Musk said he was "more than happy to have other manufacturers" use Tesla's Superchargers but that, "there is no other electric car that can accept anything close to 135 kilowatts." Let's assume the technical hurdle can be overcome. With any potential patent/licensing problems out of the way, these discussions with BMW and Nissan might be revolving around this other angle that Musk mentioned: "They (other automakers) just have to contribute to the capital cost, so figure out what percentage of the time are their cars using the Supercharger network and then they can make a contribution proportionate to their customer usage of the Supercharger network." That certainly sounds like something that could take some time to figure out. BMW M3 gets the video retrospective treatment
Mon, 10 Jun 2013With BMW on the cusp of pulling back the sheets on its next-generation M3 (or should we say, M4?), the crew from Electric Federal has taken it upon themselves to give us a generation-by-generation look at the evolution of the most renowned of BMW's sports coupes. The video below features plenty of beautiful shots of each generation of M3, starting with the ever lust-worthy E30 before finishing up with the current iteration. BWS Motorsport's Mark Norris provides the narration, complete with a brief synopsis of what makes each generation so special.
As usual, the clip is fit for big-screen viewing. You can watch the action below for yourself. Meanwhile, we'll be busy figuring out which vital organs we can sell to get our hands on our own E30 M3.
BMW shows up-armored X5 concept and we can't get near it
Wed, 11 Sep 2013BMW has brought a slightly different concept vehicle to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Rather than something that foreshadows a future product or a new design direction, the Munich-based manufacturer has brought an X5 that's designed to be shot at. It's called the Concept X5 Security Plus. The Concept X5 name is a bit misleading, though. It's based on the 2014 X5, while BMW already builds an armored CUV, called the X5 Security. The concept tag has to do with the "Security Plus" part.
Engineered to be compliant with VR6 security standards - the current X5 Security is for VR4 standards - the Concept X5 will quite happily shrug off direct attacks from an AK-47. Thanks to sealed joints, high-strength steel moldings, high-performance steel body panels and special, polycarbonate-coated security glass, Kalashnikov's finest, whether used as a firearm or as a melee weapon, would be useless against this X5.
Built alongside the standard X5 in BMW's Spartanburg, SC factory, the X5 is shipped to a BMW facility in Toluca, Mexico for installation of the armor and security features. The company claims this delivers a more thoroughly engineered protective solution than aftermarket retrofitting.
