Bmw 525i 1995 E34 on 2040-cars
Bloomfield, Connecticut, United States
This is a great car! I have owned this car for the past nine years. I
purchased it with 62,500 miles on it from my brother. He was the
second owner. I would drive this car anywhere. With that said there
are a few things that I would do to the car.
1. Front right ball joint 2. The battery is really week and needs replacing. 3. I had the front rotors turned and they did a poor job so probably would replace these. 4. Nothing to do about this, but occasionally it pops out of second gear. Has been like this since I got it at 62k. Car has been well taken care of and garaged most of its life and rarely driven in the snow. The front seats are not original. Has original stereo. It has a five speed standard transmission. Tires are in good condition. Has traction control, antilock brakes and dual air bags. This car is a pleasure to drive. I would give this car to my daughter to drive coast to coast. I have tried to describe this car honestly but may have forgotten some things. Feel free to email me any questions or I would be glad to talk with you on the phone. Car is sold as is , no warranty expressed or implied. Cash at time of pick up. Car is located in Bloomfield ct 06002 This car is for sale locally auction can end at anytime. |

BMW 1 Series sedan interior revealed
Sun, 09 Nov 2014The next BMW 1 Series Sedan has made another appearance following our last peek at it in September, and this time, the gallery of images even reveals part of the new car's interior.
Of course, if these images prove anything, it's that manufacturers take camouflage of the interior just as seriously as they do the exterior. We can see in these images a fairly simple cabin, with what looks like a fixed central display. It's quite small, although the housing itself is rather large, so we could be looking at a more basic form of iDrive rather than the full-featured set. Overall, though, this cabin more or less confirms that the 1 Series Sedan will fit in with the rest of the BMW family quite nicely.
Outside of the interior images, though, there isn't a lot of new stuff revealed by these images. As for when we'll see both the interior and exterior fully undisguised, our spies continue pointing to a 2016 debut with a 2017 on-sale date.

Thermal imagery of BMW M4 DTM pit stop is red hot
Wed, 28 May 2014A pit stop is a pit stop, right? The race car pulls in, the crew changes the tires, pumps in some fuel, maybe swaps out a busted body panel or squeegees the windshield, and off it goes for another heat. Only pit stops have become the focus of news lately for a number of reasons, whether it's because of mishaps (like the ones that prompted F1 to ban mid-race refueling), new time records (due largely to said ban) or interesting new ways to film the fast-paced action.
A few weeks ago we brought you footage of an IndyCar pit stop filmed from multiple angles courtesy of Google Glass. Now BMW has released a brief clip of one of its M4 DTM racers coming in for fresh rubber, all filmed by infrared camera. Its the kind of technology BMW uses to help optimize its German touring cars for competition, and now the Bavarian outfit has released some footage for fans to enjoy.
The resulting thermal imagery gives you an idea of how hot the car runs (and where the heat is emanating from), how warm they get the fresh rubber before they get it onto the car, and what kind of temperatures the pit crew is subjected to. Look closely enough in the 25-second video below and you'll even see the heat sputtering out of the exhaust pipes as the M4 downshifts into its pit box. (Just don't try adjusting your speakers, the clip is without audio.)
