2009 BMW 135i M Sport package Black / Red 6 Speed Modified Cobb BOV Quad Exhaust Very Good

This BMW 135i is not your average 135i BMW. This car starts with an M Sport Package to really set it off. This car has a seldom seen red leather interior which really pops with the black exterior. The car is in excellent shape inside and out. There are no dings or dents anywhere. The interior is in excellent shape with no rips tears or wear of any kind. I am the second owner of this car and it has been garaged since new. It has an in-dash Dynavin Android GPS display which cost $1,100, very cool feature. Everything operates as intended on this 135i, it needs nothing at all! It has new Michelin SuperSport tires with less than 500 miles on them. The car has its factory M wheels which were chromed at a cost of $1,000. All modifications are the car are very functional and were done right and installed professionally. There is a check engine light on the dash because the Cats were removed from the exhaust. You can reset this code but it will reappear unless you put cats on the car with an o2 sensor. Does not effect functionality or driveability whatsoever. The car gets great MPG cruising, get on the pedal and you will experience the monster coming to life! The car has top of the shelf, professionally installed modifications including:

Dynavin Android GPS Display - $1,100
Cobb Accessport Tuner - $900
Injen Cold Air Intake - $400
Throttle Body Spacer - $200
Blow off valve - $250
Upper Intercooler Piping - $500
Magnaflow Custom Quad Tip Exhaust Installed at IPS Motorsports - $1,300
Factory rims chromed - $1,000
Chrome mesh upper and lower grilles - $700

Two new RWD Toyota sports cars to join FR-S?

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Toyota as we know it could become a thing of the past. According to Australian site Car Advice, the Japanese brand known for bland cruisers like the Camry and Corolla is preparing to bring two new rear-drive cars to market that would slot above and below the Scion-badged FR-S. This is very, very good news.
Car Advice spoke to the GT86/FR-S' chief engineer, Tatsuya Tada, who claimed, "Akio Toyoda always says to me, Toyota sports car [family] should be three sports car brothers. 86 is in the middle." The oldest "brother" would be the spiritual successor to the Supra, even if it doesn't wear that name. Tada is in charge of that project, while a sub-GT86 project is being headed-up elsewhere.
Tada refused to comment on names (CA specifically mentions MR2 and Celica) for the new small car, but did say that, "Yes it is rear-wheel drive and that's Toyota's strong position - Toyota sports car must be rear-wheel drive." Perhaps the juiciest bit of information obtained from Tada's interview with Car Advice was his hinting that both new sports cars would be joint ventures, like the GT86/FR-S/Subaru BRZ triplets. Tada wouldn't say who Toyota was in bed with on the smaller model, but did mention that the Supra would be a product of the world's largest automaker's partnership with BMW.

Comparison test: 2019 Acura RDX vs. compact luxury SUV competitors

Fri, Jun 1 2018

Truth be told, if we were to compare the all-new 2019 Acura RDX with those compact luxury crossover SUVs it would most likely be cross-shopped against, you'd be looking at a different list. Even Acura admits that Lexus and Infiniti are the most likely bogies, but with the 2019 RDX, Honda's luxury brand is attempting to attract those customers who think as much with their hearts as with their heads. And for the most part, those folks have been buying from German brands: the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. So, to show how the new RDX compares to them, Acura actually provided examples of each during the recent press drive along with a Volvo XC60. All were determined to have greater emotional appeal than the last RDX, and we would certainly agree. For, as much as the previous-generation RDX made sense on paper, it was really hard to get excited about it. And when you're paying extra for a luxury vehicle, shouldn't you get a little excited? Well, as luck would have it, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and I were on hand in Whistler, British Columbia, for the press launch. We didn't have an abundance of time in each RDX competitor, but in conjunction with our usual comparison chart, our impressions should provide a good first taste of how the new RDX compares. Performance and fuel economy Contributing Editor James Riswick: On paper at least, the RDX is gutsier than its comparably powered European rivals. It also weighs the same or less, which logically should mean it'll be the quickest in a straight line. During my brief drives, though, I'm not sure it really stood taller than the three Germans. It at least matches them for smoothness, which is something that can't be said about the Volvo. Fuel economy is lower than them all when you consider all but the Mercedes come standard with all-wheel drive. It's also worth noting that all the competitors are available with engine upgrades, and unless Acura's forthcoming resurrection of Type S models includes the RDX, it should stay that way. Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski: Line 'em all up in a drag race, and I have a feeling the Acura would squirt away to victory. A good bit of that, though, would be due to its 10-speed automatic transmission, which offers a huge spread of ratios and fires off extremely quick shifts. In the real world, I'd guess fuel economy will be similar across the board, so I'm willing to call that category a draw.

Xcar celebrates 100-year anniversary with Model T tribute

Fri, Jan 9 2015

Never mind the fact that XCar hasn't been making videos for the last 100 years, the British duo have gone all silent-moving-pictures in order to make their centenary case for the Ford Model T, a car that was already seven years old in 1915. It's not a review, but a mostly sepia-tinged look at the car that started the mass-market adventure by taking that biblical advice to be fruitful and multiply and populate the Earth abundantly. Since it looks like Xcar is celebrating some kind of milestone, we've also included another video below of the first Xcar review we could find, covering the BMW M1, from the much more recent past - circa 2012.
