Mercedes reveals interior of upcoming new V-Class
Mon, 21 Oct 2013If you think Mercedes' lineup of passenger vehicles is overwhelming, just look to the European market and all the vans it sells there. Here we may only get the Sprinter and R-Class, but overseas there's the Citan, Vaneo, Viano and Vito as well. But word has it that Mercedes is planning on streamlining things a bit with a new V-Class.
Expected to take the place currently filled by the Viano, Vito and R-Class models (the latter of which is no longer available for US consumption), the new V-Class will be a passenger van with Benz-appropriate levels of fit and finish. Just look at these images that have surfaced showing the new model's interior that could easily belong to any other Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle, only a bit more upright.
Carrying the internal designation W447, the new V-Class is tipped to debut in the sheetmetal come the Geneva Motor Show next March. Whether it'll be offered here as a replacement for the R-Class, however, remains to be seen.
