2005 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT

You are looking at a beautiful, hard to find black on black Bentley Continental GT that has just had it's 40k mile service done by Bentley of Naples, FL.  The car itself has only 31K miles.

This Bentley has NEW upgraded and true OEM Factory GT Speed Wheels (cost well over $12K from Bentley).  No imitations or knock offs that will bend your wheels up.  Wheels have been powder coated black. The wheels have the proper Pirelli P-Zero tires on them, just take a look.

The chrome molding around the driver and passenger side windows, as well as the side skirts have all been painted black to match the car.  This was professionally done by Bentley of Naples, so it is guaranteed to be done right.

The grill and rear parking lights have also been painted black.

As mentioned above the 40k mile service was done at 31k miles.  This is considered one of the biggest service jobs done on this vehicle.  I also had whatever else serviced on the vehicle that needed to be taken care of.  I spent $15k alone at the Bentley of Naples dealership.  I do have the receipt as proof, please email if you would like to see it or better yet I can provide the contact information for the individual who I worked with at Bentley during this service.

This Bentley looks absolutely amazing in person and there is not a thing wrong with the car inside or out.  It is mechanically sound and has less that 100 miles put on it since the 40k mile service job.

All owners manuals are included.  I have a factory Bentley cover on the car and it has always been garaged since I've had it.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY - This Bentley does have a SALVAGE TITLE from California.  Please see the picture of where it got damaged on the rear driver side fender, nothing major at all.  Again I can put you in contact with the Bentley Dealership Service Department who went through the car from "head to toe".  This car drives as straight as an arrow.

I am currently on the hunt for a Lamborghini Countach/Diablo - I will consider trades up or down.

This Bentley is currently located in Naples, FL and will be there until mid May.  After this it will be coming to NY for the summer.

Yes, you can find this vehicle for a cheaper price but NOT NEARLY AS NICE.  Please do not waste my time with low offers as I will not reply back.  I'm not desperate to sell this vehicle but if a Lamborghini comes my way I don't want to pass it by.

Vehicle can be picked up locally or buyer can arrange and cover all shipping costs.

Please feel free to email with any further questions.

Thank you for looking and HAPPY BIDDING!!

Bentley installing 10,000 solar panels in HQ parking lot

Wed, Apr 11 2018

Bentley has started construction on what it says will be the U.K.'s largest solar-powered car port at its factory headquarters in Crewe, England. When completed, the array will have a capacity of 2.7 megawatts, enough to cover 24 percent of the company's energy requirements on the site. Crews will install 10,000 solar panels in the employee car port in a project that's expected to take six months. They'll add to the 20,815-panel, 5mW rooftop solar power system that Bentley finished installing at the factory in 2013. The combined output will be enough to power the equivalent of 1,750 homes. The car port will cover 1,378 parking spaces and be installed and operated by British firm FlexiSolar, which is also designing and manufacturing the system. The new green energy system adds to plaudits in recent years for reducing its water usage at the Crewe HQ. Bentley has also been awarded the Carbon Trust Standards for carbon, water and waste. While Bentleys aren't exactly known for their fuel efficiency — the Mulsanne sedan gets a woeful 11 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway — its vehicles no longer appear on the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's "meanest" list of gas-guzzlers, as they once did. It also just showed its forthcoming and long-promised Bentayga plug-in hybrid in Geneva, promising 31 miles of all-electric range and a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with an electric motor. The brand is also promising a full-electric model in the near future. "We continue to focus on new initiatives that reinforce our commitment to the environment, whether this is introducing alternative powertrain technologies in future models, or our award-winning work to reduce the environmental impact of our factory," Peter Bosch, Bentley's member of the Board for Manufacturing, said in a statement. Baby Bentley studied for 2020, but it might not be cheaper

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

Bentley may step down a segment with a new, smaller luxury car that it hopes to have ready by 2019. The British luxury marque's fifth model line, assuming that its SUV ever makes it to market, though, is still in the earliest planning stages.
Kevin Rose, Bentley's head of sales and marketing, spoke with Autocar at the Geneva Motor Show about the proposed new vehicle. "At the moment, our line of thinking is for a smaller car. But smaller doesn't necessarily mean cheaper," he said. The brand believes the price floor of its models should be 100,000 pounds ($167,240).
The smaller Flying B isn't the only project being worked on. Rose hinted that it is considering an even more expensive model above the Mulsanne priced at around 300,000 pounds ($501,735) that would compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom. "The twin pillars of the Bentley brand are performance and luxuriousness. Any car that offers something unique, with both of those bases well covered, is on the table," he said.

2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

There are few things in this world I enjoy more than an enthusiastic drive down tree-lined backroads on a warm summer evening. If you're familiar with the geographic location of Detroit, you won't be shocked to learn that we don't have the sort of very-involving roads found all throughout California and other gorgeous parts of the country, but we still have some stretches of pavement that can be pretty darn fun when driven in the right car. The vast majority of our scenic roads, however, are of a more relaxed nature. And that's why, despite my tendency to prefer high-strung hot hatches above all, I will never say no to a big, fast convertible during the warm season.
As far as said big, fast convertibles go, perhaps none is more exquisite than the 2014 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible, pictured here in the striking shade of St. James Red. Not long after returning from my trip across the pond to drive Bentley's V8-powered Flying Spur sedan, I was given the chance to sample another one of its eight-cylinder wares, this one carrying less heft, offering a smidge more power, and, oh yeah, a roof that neatly stows behind the rear seats.
As luck would have it, the weather for my Conti weekend was the absolute definition of perfection. And so I took to those sweeping, tree-lined roads way outside of Detroit to see how this Bentley's "S" badge improves upon the lovely GT V8 Convertible I drove last year. Hard work, but somebody's gotta do it.
