2005 Bentley Continental GT Coupe

Perfect Carfax and Autocheck

Low 41k Miles

No Accidents, no stories, no issues

If you are in the market for a pristine Continental GT, this car may be for you. The car is as delivered with no wear common on the seat bolsters, door panels, ect. This car was pampered since day 1. The carfax shows multiple owners, but it really only had two. I moved a few times and the title was transferred between States. The car comes with two keys, all books, manuals, ect. The only deviation from stock is a really cool Ipod connector.

Do your research before buying one of these cars. They all have a inherent issue with the scuttle area in the cowl, water collects there because of poor drainage issues and corrodes the wiring and computer in that area. It's not if, its WHEN these cars do this.

This particular GT had the drains retrofitted in the scuttle from day 1. No issues there.

The next inherent issue with these GT's are the front control arms go bad about every 20k miles. Nobody ever replaces them. This car has fresh control arms, this is a $4,000 job.

They also have issues with the front air struts, they leak over time. These were recently updated with the new style (Bentley) struts.

This is another $5,000 job.

Next, at 40k miles these cars require a major service including a spark plug change and all fluids changed, this is a $6,000 service was just completed.

So, you can save $5,000 on a cheaper Bentley, but there is NO such thing as a CHEAP Bentley.

These are all services that need to be done on these cars and that's why people sell them. This car is ready to rock and roll.

Tires are brand new Continentals $1250!

This car has had absolutely no paint work done to it, not a scratch on the car.

Interior looks and smells like a new car. (Interior smells like Italian shoes)

I have more pictures if you are interested.

This is the cleanest 05 on the market. Aside from that it is super well sorted and the major service is done and then some!

I own a highline auto repair shop and this car is my pride and joy. Other opportunities force me to entertain a sale.

2019 Bentley Continental GT breaks Pikes Peak production car record

Mon, Jul 1 2019

Bentley has made good on its promise to capture the production car record at Pikes Peak this past weekend. Pikes Peak expert Rhys Millen took a stock 2019 Bentley Continental GT (save for mandatory safety equipment) up the roughly 12-and-a-half-mile route in a time of 10:18.488 and an average speed of 70 mph. The final time was an impressive 8.4 seconds ahead of the previous record. That previous record holder was a stock 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S driven by David Donner. That car's twin-turbo flat-6 made "just" 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque to the Bentley twin-turbo W12's 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Of course the Bentley is much heavier, which would be evident in a straight drag race, as the Porsche had a claimed 0-60 mph time of 2.9 seconds to the Bentley's 3.6. We're interested to see if other manufacturers will start heading to Pikes Peak in search of production class glory. In the meantime, Bentley can relish in owning not one, but two production car record times. It set the production SUV record last year with a Bentayga. The Bentayga was a little over 30 seconds slower than the Continental GT with a time of 10:49.9. Bentley set the record on Sunday, June 30, the same day that Carlin Dunne was killed in a crash while attempting to set a different record aboard a Ducati Streetfighter V4 prototype. City of LA's electric vehicle fleet adds Tesla Model S, BMW i3

Mon, Sep 14 2015

For anyone who thought that Los Angeles' efforts to turn its traffic problems green would end after a partnership with Waze, think again. The City of Angels has committed to leasing 160 battery-powered electric vehicles and 128 plug-in hybrids for its municipal fleet. A post on the LAPD blog says that the police, fire, general services, water and power departments will split the former, while the general services will also take all of the latter. Mayor Eric Garcetti says that this move puts LA closer to its goal of becoming the "most sustainable city in America." For now it has to settle for having the largest city-owned fleet of battery-powered rides. The blog post goes on to say that as part of this Sustainable City pLAn (not a typo), it also has a shiny new Tesla Model S P85D and BMW i3 for "testing and research." Hopefully that includes seeing how effective Ludicrous Mode is against fleeing perps. #LAPD: @LAPDChiefBeck speaking at the news conference on Historic Transition to Green Energy Vehicles. pic.twitter.com/n1KdFOrX8F — LAPD HQ (@LAPDHQ) September 11, 2015 This article by Timothy J.
