2005 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT in TEMPEST SILVER/BLACK INTERIOR. MULLINER 20 inch wheels. 22,300 MILES on this BEAUTY. This car was originally sold by Symbolic Motorcars in La Jolla, California. At some point it ended up back at Symbolic and was given a full inspection and BENTLEY CERTIFIED pre-owned. I purchased this car from Symbolic and have put about 3k miles on it. It is absolutely perfect. There have never been any scratches or dents and therefore no paintwork whatsoever. This car still smells like new and looks like new. Friends and family could not believe that it was a 2005 model. The color is one of my favorites and it is the second GT that I have owned in this exact color combination. You will not be dissapointed with this purchase, the car drives and looks new. It is a very simple and elegant combination that is not flashy like some of the other colors. Bentley confirms SUV for 2016
Tue, 23 Jul 2013It looks like the addition of a Royal Baby isn't the only big news coming out of the UK this week. Bentley has ended all of the will they/won't they speculation by confirming today that it will produce an SUV. Earmarked to go on sale in 2016, the as-yet unnamed Bentley SUV will help create an extra 1,000 jobs in the UK.
While no concrete details have been released, Bentley says that it will be the "most luxurious and most powerful SUV" on the market. Past rumors have indicated that the SUV could look completely different from the 2012 EXP 9 F Concept shown above, be renamed the Falcon and offer options like a plug-in hybrid version and three-row seating. To prepare for a fourth model in its lineup, Bentley will be investing 800 million British pounds (around $1.2 billion USD) into its Crewe headquarters and production lines over the next three years. Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
Bentley to call its upcoming crossover Bentayga?
Tue, Nov 25 2014Development of Bentley's forthcoming utility vehicle is almost complete, and the British automaker has painted a vivid picture of what to expect: otherworldly luxurious, a range of powertrains including a twelve-pot and a hybrid, and a price tag that is sure to eclipse any other SUV or crossover on the market. One of the biggest questions still remaining, however, is what Bentley will call the thing, but we might have our answer right here. According to Autovisie (the car section of Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf), Bentley has registered the name Bentayga – taken from a rock formation on Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, that Spanish archipelago off the coast of Morocco. The concept was originally showcased as the EXP 9 F. Though that handle was never expected to make it to production, the F supposedly stood for Falcon, leading to speculation that the final version would carry that name. But if the trademark application is anything to go by, we could be looking in the end at the Bentley Bentayga.
