Located at the Dezer Car Museum. Where we have over 1200 eye popping cars and counting!

Real estate developer and collector Michael Dezer fulfilled a longtime dream when he opened his extraordinary automobile and memorabilia collection, Miami’s Auto Museum at The Dezer Collection Museum, to the public. Encompassing over 250,000-square-feet, the museum features more than 1,000 of the most unique and eclectic vehicles held in any private collection in the world. The museum’s nine exhibitions are positioned within lifelike dioramas that depict the historical period and origin of the automobiles on display. Guests can trace the evolution of the automobile through exhibits showcasing American classics from all eras, rare European classics, military cars, electric cars, micro-cars, bicycles, classic motorcycles, and more. Noting his passion for collecting began with his first vehicle — a Vespa given to him by his father at age 16 in his native Israel — Dezer today owns the largest collection of Vespas worldwide. An exhibit sure to fascinate both young and old, the museum’s Hollywood “Star” car exhibition showcases cars featured in some of Hollywood’s most celebrated movies, including the 1948 Ford “Greased Lightning” from Grease, 1959 Cadillac “Ecto-1” from Ghostbusters, 1981 Delorean “Time Machine” from Back to the Future, and the Mach 5 Speed Racer from Speed Racer Enterprises, among many others. The “Cars of the Stars” exhibition is complemented by the museum’s James Bond exhibition, which features a world-renowned collection of automobiles, submarines, airplanes, boats and memorabilia that appeared in one of Hollywood’s leading film franchises. One-of-a-kind concepts such as an indoor drive-in movie theatre and a wax figure museum further the Miami’s Auto Museum at The Dezer Collection Museum’s unique mix. In addition to its outstanding collection of vehicles and memorabilia, the museum offers a distinctive 75,000-square-foot event venue, the Dezer Showplace, perfect for hosting events of up to 1,500 guests.

Xcar asks why the W in the Bentley Continental GT

Tue, Mar 17 2015

There aren't a lot of automakers producing V12 engines these days: There's BMW and Mercedes, of course, and the Rolls-Royces and Paganis they power. There's Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. But the largest producer of twelve-cylinder engines doesn't make them in a V. That'd be Bentley, and it produces more dozen-piston engines than anyone else, but arranges them in a W configuration. It's a compelling story of innovation, one as interesting as the history of the marque itself. And Xcar tells the tale in its latest video installment, tracing it back to the development of the compact VR6 engine and the autocratic mastermind at the helm of the Volkswagen Group who made the W12 a reality. By this point it would be all too easy to consign the W12 to the dustbin of history as the smaller, more efficient and nearly as powerful V8 has slotted in below to push the W12 to the margins of relevance. But it's still the more refined option, and the more innovative one. Little wonder it's the only type of twelve-cylinder engine (the Aventador's notwithstanding) that the Volkswagen Group still makes.

2015 Bentley Mulsanne Speed Video Review

Wed, Oct 7 2015

"It feels like a million bucks and it's only $400,000." I completely agree with this statement from editor-in-chief Mike Austin, that you'll hear in the video above. I spent a weekend with the 2015 Bentley Mulsanne Speed and can honestly say that taken as a whole, every single part of this sedan works together to make it feel like the absolute fanciest car in the world. The big story with this Mulsanne is the Speed part of its name. Bentley's 6.75-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 is massaged to produce 530 horsepower and an absolutely astonishing 811 pound-feet of torque. Still, this is a nearly 6,000-pound car, so even with all that power, the Mulsanne Speed isn't a rocketship. A sub-five-second run to 60 miles per hour is, of course, nothing to scoff at – especially in a car that's built like a bank vault. But that quickness is masked by the stately, luxurious, wafty nature of the Mulsanne. This is a Gentleman's Car, after all. Despite its overwhelming luxury, the Mulsanne isn't the most modern car around. A lot of the switchgear screams last-generation Volkswagen to us, and in contrast to the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600, a lot of the Bentley's interior feels a little behind the times. No matter, it's still a rolling embodiment of class, refinement, and upper-crust exclusivity, and it'll turn heads in a way that the long-wheelbase Mercedes simply cannot. Don't just take my word for it, though. Let editor-in-chief Mike Austin tell you all about the super-luxurious, super-fast Mulsanne in the video, above. Bentley teases restyled production SUV

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Bentley insists that customers responded positively, but journalists weren't particularly enamored with the EXP 9 F concept when it was unveiled two years ago at the Geneva Motor Show. And so it went back to the drawing board, honing the design to make it more pleasing to the eye.
The production model won't hit the road until 2016, but at its annual shareholders meeting today in London, the British automaker revealed the first image of the finished design - or at least the front end, which was arguably the most controversial element of the design in the first place.
The rendering, as you can see above, is highly stylized and obscured by flying sand (as many customer examples are likely to be in the dunes of the Middle East). But from what we can see, it appears that Bentley has moved the secondary headlights from below the primary ones to beside them. It's hard to tell, but it appears that their place on the edges of the front bumper have been replaced by air vents, giving it an altogether Continental-like front end. The shape of the grille, hood, fenders and greenhouse otherwise appear similar to the EXP 9 F we've already seen, though the air dam appears taller than the concept's.
