This TT has been well cared for.  All AUDI services have been done (DFW Audi, Boardwalk Audi and VDUBS Only).  Timing belt has been replaced, font struts and axels have been replaced and it has had regular Audi oil changes since new.  I am the second owner. When I purchased the car I had it inspected by an Audi mechanic.  He found the car to in exceptional shape cosmetically and mechanically.  The tires are almost new and the pictures will show it.  The spark plug service was done less than a week ago.  The car runs and drives like new!

I needed more of a back seat and recently opted to go with an A5.  I had planned to keep the TT but due to limited garage space I'm being urged to sell it.  You can find some detailed model info at http://www.edmunds.com/audi/tt/2006/.

These are great little cars that are so much fin to drive I'm having a hard time putting it up.   Makes an excellent daily commuter for the person who really likes to drive.  This car lives up to the reviews and for the money you can't beat it.  This TT looks amazing.  Please scrutinize the photos. I have taken up-close shots of each wheel and door area where there is small door ding (easy paint less repair).

Audi reveals new beefed-up A8 L Security

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Audi claims is the lightest armored vehicle of its kind.
If there were ever a sedan that deserved the descriptor of "luxury," surely it's the Audi A8. Particularly in long-wheelbase form. But for many of Audi's wealthy customers around the world - namely those in developing markets - there can be no greater luxury than security. And for just those customers, Audi has announced the new A8 L Security.

The Volkswagen Group switches official language to English

Wed, Dec 14 2016

The Volkswagen Group can't be fairly thought of as entirely German anymore, so the news that the company is switching its official language to English to help attract managers and executives is a rational, if surprising, decision. While many VW Group companies are still staidly German in character and culture, consider the other companies that it controls: Bentley (British), Bugatti (French), Ducati and Lamborghini (Italian), Skoda (Czech), Scania trucks (Swedish), and SEAT (Spanish). Not to mention the large Volkswagen Group of America operation, which constructs cars in Chattanooga, TN. Volkswagen's explicit motivation is to improve management recruitment – making sure the company isn't losing out on candidates for important positions because they can't speak German – and that's inherently sensible in a globalized economy. Particularly considering, like it or lump it, that English is the lingua franca of said global economy. It also should make it inherently easier to communicate between its world-wide subsidiaries and coordinate operations. It's hard to say for sure if this will have any impact on the consumer, although it's easy to see the benefits if, say, VW Group hires some American product planners or engineers and they push for features and designs that more closely suit American needs. After all, the US is a hugely important market for any manufacturer, and so the switch to English almost certainly has something to do with the outsized influence of the US in the global economy. And there doesn't seem to be a downside from a purely rational perspective, although it could mean that the Group's corporate culture becomes less German. Whether that's a good or a bad thing depends on your perspective. Adam Carolla is world's the least helpful test drive co-pilot

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

If you were going to test drive a new car, who would you want to take with you? Your spouse? A friend? Maybe an automotive journalist? Well take it from us: there's one of us riding shotgun just about every time we go to drive anything, and we're not all we're cracked up to be.
How about a celebrity comedian? Well, that largely depends on which comedian we're talking about here. Some - say, Jerry Seinfeld or Jay Leno, for example - might be more helpful than others, being more or less schooled in the finer points of the modern automobile. Adam Carolla might seem like he belongs on that list too, but in this latest video for a friends at Edmunds.com, the one-time host of The Car Show on Speed TV seems bent on being as comedically intrusive as possible. Which may be funny, but helpful? Not so much. See what we mean in the video below, and the next time you go to test drive a new car, you just might find the world's most popular podcast host climbing in with you.
