This S6 comes with a CLEAN TITLE and a CLEAN CARFAX history(I can email the report to you). The color combo makes this S6 a very rare find! The White Pearlescent exterior is paired with Ebony black leather and Alcantara headliner, door panels and seat inserts. The exterior is in average shape for a 12 year car. The most noticeable flaws can be seen in the pics which are a a dent scratch on the passenger front door and door ding on the same panel. The bumper has it's typical road debris wear and the rear bumper has some indention's from what looks like someones license plate bumping into it. This can also be seen in the pics. The interior is very well kept with no rips or major wear. The car has never been smoked in and all the original floormats are in great shape. The heated seats are also working great in the front and in the rear. The car is equipped with aftermarket goodies which sweeten the deal up! The front and rear swaybars are upgraded Hotchkis Sport pieces. The front and rear brake rotors are EBC cross drilled and slotted. The intake has a K&N drop in panel filter and the exhaust has been modified with Magnaflow mufflers, catalytic deletes and highflow resonators. The sound is clean and aggressive but not overbearing. The factory ecu program has been altered by a local tuner and so the secondary air injection and 02 sensors have been removed. In other words, NO FAULT CODES FOR 02 SENSORS OR SECONDARY AIR ISSUES...EVER! The tune plus the exhaust mods have given the S6 some more power and it is very noticeable at full throttle. The wheels are 18x8.5 35mm in front and 18x9.5 40mm rear with 255-40-18 tires all around. They are from a 2006 Mercedes SL550 and the rear wheels have 10mm spacers. There is no rubbing or clearance issues. The car runs and drives like a dream but the Koni Yellow shocks and struts feel slightly worn so the ride can be a bit rough at times. This is my opinion though and you might find it to be just right. There are no mechanical issues whatsoever. The car has been inspected by Zink's Autohaus and all is good under the hood. Please feel free to call with any questions and thanks for looking! Anthony 214-732-7300 MORE PICTURES CLICK HERE |

Production 4.0: Audi plans for the smart factory
Tue, Jul 21 2015Automotive production is becoming more integrated and at the same time has to be more intelligent and more efficient. Flexible production of customized vehicles is one of the big challenges for the future, especially for a premium carmaker like Audi. How will the "Vorsprung durch Technik" brand meet its aim of offering premium quality with added custom flexibility? The company sees the "smart factory" as the key. Whether it's body-color moldings or light-alloy wheels in a special size, almost every car is ordered with some kind of customization, and the demands are increasing. This requires of course already a lot of flexibility. While the variety of models and quality demands are increasing, automotive manufacturers such as Audi are eager to make production sustainable. In an Audi interview, innovation management members Alois Brandt and Henning Loser talk about "production 4.0" and the upcoming "smart factory." How will Audi manage the production site with its very high standards of quality, efficiency, and environmental acceptability? Will the so-called "smart factory," which should be the intelligent factory of the future, only employ robots? Alois Brandt: "With a deep look into the production, I am convinced that our employees and not machines are the relevant working forces behind the Audi brand. Machines can be bought anywhere." Increasing digitalization is paving the way for the smart factory – the intelligent, digitally connected production facility. New high-tech solutions in manufacturing should further increase the high level of quality, while at the same time the assembly work should be easier and result in better ergonomics. Can you give us a clearer imagination of the "smart factory"? Alois Brandt: "There are a lot of ideas. But the big question at the moment is: Which one is really needed and leads into the right direction?" Can you tell us a little bit more about "production 4.0"? Alois Brandt: "The assembly line as we know it in the present will no longer play the same role. If it makes sense, it will be terminated and replaced by – let's call it – a virtual assembly line. The production will be more modular than before and the car will be directed to a production point – a so-called 'island of competence' – where it is needed." Henning Loser: "If the vehicle is to be assembled to the customer's wishes, it is obvious that efficient programming of robots and coordinating with the human workers is needed.
Race Recap: 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers, and notes from a dry lake bed [w/video]
Mon, 11 Feb 2013
It was a local guy from 90 miles away who beat them all...
The image above shows 129 Ultra4 racing rigs lined up for the start of the 2013 Griffin King of the Hammers. In case you missed Part One that explains why they're there and why they might be doing the most difficult and absurd one-day off-road race in the world, check it out. After a week of races in other events and two days of qualifying for the big show, the men and women who made it in were lined up to do three laps of a course around the 140,000-acre Johnson Valley OHV area in California's San Bernardino County.
Audi Q7 plug-in hybrid spied, Porsche powertrain possible
Mon, 15 Sep 2014It's no secret that a new Audi Q7 is on the way. The replacement for the aging, three-row luxury CUV has already been spotted once, in December of 2013. Now, though, we have images of the second-generation model lapping Germany's Nürburgring Nordschleife, and it just happens to be showing a feature we reported on at the end of July - a plug-in-hybrid powertrain.
Given away by its high-voltage stickers on the window and a spare door to hide the charger - note how both the driver and passenger sides sport an access point - our spies snapped a series of photos, and put forth the compelling idea that the new Q7 would use the PHV system from the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid.
If that's the case, that should mean at least 320 horsepower from a 3.0-liter, supercharged V6, while an electric motor chips in a further 95 ponies for a total system output of 416 hp.
