2010 Audi S5 on 2040-cars
Alplaus, New York, United States
I am always available by mail at: cecilecccordenas@gunnersfans.com .
This loaded S5 has a 4.2L V8 engine. This is the last of the V8 S5s (later model years have a V6) and its a
powerhouse! 354 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque. This car has the optional Rear Sports Differential and the ability to
switch the car's suspension, steering and tuning to either comfort, auto or dynamic or a combination with an
individual setting. Putting this particular car in Dynamic mode with the AWE exhaust is pure fun!
This car has a professionally installed AWE Tuning Touring Edition Exhaust System. Factory options include:
Navigation Package with Rear Camera and parking Sensors, voice control for radio/phone/navigation, and driver
information system.
Sports Rear Differential
Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System
Carbon Atlas Inlays
Wheel Lock Kit
Engine is in excellent condition and the car has been serviced in either the Audi dealership (New Country Audi in
Greenwich or Audi Meadowlands) or more recently, in the area’s best Porsche/Audi/exotic shop EuroTech Motorsports
in Mahwah, NJ. All service records are available. While it does have over 65,000 miles, most are highway miles
and this car was never abused or smoked in.
No accidents whatsoever. This car's engine, service record and interior are all in excellent condition. As stated
in the condition section, there are some dings and scratches on the car, so I would say the condition of the
exterior is good to very good an a KBB scale. In addition, the value of the RS5 grill was over $1,000 and the
exhaust was $2,100. The exhaust alone makes this car and I have received countless comments and compliments about
the way the car sounds.
I am very, very sad to let this car go as it has served me better and brought more smiles to my face than any other
vehicle I have owned.

2014 Audi S1 Quattro leaks ahead of reveal
Tue, 11 Feb 2014Rumors have been swirling that Audi will unveil the next-generation TT at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but now it seems as if European hot hatch fans will be getting a car of their own from the German automaker. Images of the S1 Sportback Quattro have leaked out today, giving us our first taste of the real thing after seeing the camouflaged version a few months ago.
Audi may be planning to release official details about the S1 and refreshed A1 tomorrow and debut them publicly in Geneva. The S1 is expected to use the Volkswagen 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder with about 230hp, all-wheel drive and a choice of six-speed manual or dual-clutch transmission. It is basically supposed to be Golf GTI in a tiny package with all-wheel drive.
While it is highly unlikely we are getting any version of the A1 on these shores, it's always fun to see the cars lucky European enthusiasts enjoy.
Audi tech counts down red lights today, reduces traffic tomorrow
Mon, Aug 15 2016Audi announced today that in Washington D.C. and Las Vegas, select Audi Q7 and A4 models will be able to take advantage of new vehicle-to-infrastructure technology. The technology was developed with Traffic Technology Services and will allow drivers to see how long it will take for a traffic light to change to green. Compatible traffic lights will send information through servers operated by Traffic Technology Services to properly equipped Audis. This may not sound like an earth-shattering feature at first, unless you're a stoplight drag racer – if Audi has its way, it may shut off the timer at about 10 seconds to prevent such a thing – but the technology opens up the door to much more useful features down the road. Audi's general manager for connected vehicles, Pom Malhotra, suggested that the information could be used with "vehicle navigation, engine start/stop functionality and can even be used to help improve traffic flow." More specifically, navigation could account for traffic light timing to divert drivers to a more efficient and faster route. It could even suggest acceleration and speed to hit signals when they're green, minimizing stops and starts. Then, for engine start and stop features, the car could selectively shut off at long stops but remain on when approaching a light that's about to turn green. Traffic lights could also start adjusting patterns based on how many cars are approaching a light or are stuck at a light, alleviating slow-moving traffic. Vehicle-to-infrastructure communication could lead to roads that waste less time and less energy. While Audi didn't elaborate on this topic, vehicle-to-infrastructure technology could also be useful for future autonomous car technology. For instance, the car wouldn't necessarily have to "see" the actual traffic light. Instead, it could rely on a separate signal from the smart traffic light to know it has to stop or go. Going a step further, the technology could be used to manage traffic so precisely that traffic signals are no longer needed, as some other groups have investigated. And, of course, the aforementioned benefits in navigation technology would help autonomous vehicles make smarter route decisions as well. The feature is currently only available on Audi Q7, A4 and A4 allroads built after June 1, 2016. It's also only available as part of Audi connect PRIME, a subscription-based service that provides various infotainment and streaming features for your Audi. While D.C.
Audi boss: no to minivan
Fri, Jun 5 2015Well done to you, Rupert Stadler. We salute you. The Audi exec went on record during an interview with Automotive News and basically shut the door on the idea of a Audi-badged minivan. When asked by AN, Stadler pointed to the high conquest rate enjoyed by crossovers and SUVs compared to minivans. On top of that, Stadler argued against vehicles like the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer by pointing out that customers tend to shy away from minivans because of the image they put forth. "Consumers are more likely to switch to an SUV and are more likely to pay a premium price because SUVs are considered more emotional," Stadler told AN. "We would rather be the emotional choice than the rational choice." It's not all good news, though. Stadler gave a resounding "no" to an A8 wagon, based on the Prologue Avant Concept, as well as a BMW 6 Series rival. Instead, Audi will focus on the upcoming Q8 SUV, which the exec said was "more likely to be a winner than a large coupe." The company is also hard at work on additional Sportback models, although Stadler didn't elaborate on which models could get the five-door treatment. Related Video:
