2007 Audi S4 Dolphin Grey V8 Sedan W/ Over $5,000 In Performance Upgrades on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
If you have been looking for a nice low mileage B7 S4 with the power and tone that only a V-8 can offer, then you have found it. I purchased this Dolphin Grey S4 in Sherman Oaks, CA in July 2010, at which time it had 23K miles on it. It is fully loaded and includes black leather Recaro seats, carbon fiber interior trim, navigation, sunroof, sport paddle shifters, etc. I have since added a full custom made and polished exhaust system by Fast Intentions in Simi Valley. These guys are as meticulous as I am, and did an awesome job. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on the sound of this car. I also had GIAC Performance Software Tuning done and installed a APR/Carbonio carbon fiber cold air intake system. These 3 items combined have made for a huge performance gain over stock. The wheels on the 2007 S4 are unique to that year, and I enhanced their appearance with H&R Wheel Spacers, and installed H&R Sport Springs as well. This is an extremely clean, no accident, California car with over $5000 in extras. I'm going to hate to see it go, but I need the garage space. Please contact me with any questions.
Thanks, Brian Highlights: -Fast Intentions exhaust system including downpipes -GIAC Performance Software -APR/Carbonio Carbon Fiber cold air intake system -H&R Sport Springs -H&R Wheel Spacers -Tinted Windows -Custom fit car cover -New Bilstein front shocks -New Michelin Super Sport front tires -New Upper/Lower front control arm bushings -Synthetic oil changed every 5K -New Serpentine belt at 40K -45K service done by Audi *Included will be the factory downpipes, springs, air box, and front bumper license plate mount. Audi to blitz 1.5M sales goal two years ahead of schedule
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Audi doesn't seem to be having any trouble of hitting its relatively audacious sales goal of two million units by 2020 - it's already on pace to eclipse 1.5 million sales two years ahead of schedule. According to Reuters, the Volkswagen-owned brand rode a wave of sales in China and the US to pace the early goal, with 780,500 deliveries at the halfway point of 2013. Particularly hot models include the Q5 crossover seen above and A4 sedan. Unless things go poorly in the second half of the year, 1.5 million sales shouldn't be an issue.
That leaves it trailing BMW by just 24,000 units for the global luxury sales crown. If sales trends keep up, Audi will succeed in hitting its goal of two million units and besting its cross-country rival in Munich. Audi CEO Rupert Stadler smells blood, telling German newspaper Handelsblatt, ''We have overtaken Mercedes-Benz and we are now closer to BMW than ever before."
ABT Sportsline coming to US, premiering AS6 at SEMA
Fri, 25 Oct 2013ABT Sportsline, known as ABT Tuning from its founding in 1967 until 1991, is a German aftermarket parts and tuning company that has focused on enhancing Volkswagens and Audis since the VW GTI bowed in 1978 (in Europe, at least) and races competitively in DTM (Germany's touring car racing series). The company has kept its roots in Europe for all of these years, but will debut the AS6, based on the Audi A6, at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in a couple weeks before opening up shop in Los Angeles in early 2014.
ABT focused on making the AS6 a balanced package by increasing engine output, tuning the suspension, giving it understated style and improving the brakes. Details are light, but the AS6's 3.0-liter diesel V6 makes 286 horsepower, a 41-hp increase over stock. Not paying attention yet? Torque jumps from 369 pound-feet to 500 lb-ft, endowing the Audi with a lot of much-appreciated low-rpm grunt. The springs are swapped out for a set of ABT units, and the body kit adds front and rear spoilers, side and rear skirts and carbon-fiber mirror covers. ABT's ER-C 20-inch wheels fit over new brakes.
We'll have more details on the car at SEMA, so stay tuned. But in the meantime, head on below to read the press release.
Sunday Drive: Volvo hits a crossover home run, and people still love sports cars
Sun, Sep 24 2017Looking back at the week that just was clearly tells us at least three things. First, crossovers don't have to be boring. Second, people still love sports cars, from the attainable (Audi TT RS) to the fanciful (Mercedes-AMG GT C). And finally, the traditional German trio of premium luxury brands had better not rest on their laurels, because credible challengers are coming in from every direction. The biggest reveal of the week, at least judging by the interest of Autoblog readers, was the Volvo XC40. Not only is the little 'ute a looker, it introduces some innovative new buying/leasing schemes designed to appeal to an audience accustomed to trading in and trading up every couple of years. Think of Volvo's flat-fee lease as you would a smartphone contract, and you'll be on the right track. Genesis looks to have a hit on its hands in the form of the G70 sport sedan. We took a Korean-spec model for a spin and found a lot to like about the upstart contender. We can't wait to sample one here in the United States to see how it stacks up against the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In other news, we're still really excited to see a production Ford Ranger Raptor. But if you just can't wait for the official reveal — it's OK, neither can we — take a look at the renderings in our post down below. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry.
