2001.5 Stage 2 Audi S4 AWD

NO RESERVE!

Up for sale is my beautiful 2001.5 Audi S4. I have owned this S4 for over 5 years and I hate to see it go but I am getting deployed to Afghanistan and am selling off all my toys so I can buy new ones when I return to the states in 2015! I purchased this S4 with only 59,000 miles from a doctor in Texas who was the only owner. The vehicle was shipped to Bismarck, ND where it currently sits in a heated garage, like it has for every winter here. The odometer currently sits at 89,220 miles and this beast has plenty of life left. At 75,000 miles I had the timing belt replaced and then I let the fun begin. All mods have been on less than 15,000 miles.

Mod list:

-Gwerks Tuning, Stage 2 Software w/ Launch Control ($650)

-APR Bi-pipe ($250)

-JHM Front Mount Intercooler  ($600)

-Forge Splitter valves ($500)

-Downpipes and APR cat-back exhaust ($2,000)

-K&N Complete Air Filter Kit ($350)

-2005 A4 S-Line Avant OEM Wheels w/ good rubber ($2500), also includes 2 spare tires in the trunk that have good rubber as well

-H&R Lowering Springs ($285)

-AEM Boost Gauge ($175)

-100% Authentic, OEM RS4 front bumper ($1500)

-Wired for subwoofers ($100)

You can see a couple of pics I posted from July 2013 this summer on a car cruise. I sold the BBS’ a couple months ago and bought the OEM wheels off of a forum and then the new tires shortly after I sold the BBS’. The new wheels do rub on some bumps but they look so clean and flush that I decided to keep them on for the new owner. The new owner may want to do a different wheel setup as the ride is noisy but I have driven it fine for a few hundred miles. Also the S4 does need some TLC to be back to perfect condition. It will need a new clutch eventually as the current clutch does slip. Also, I had to replace the driver’s door skin and there is a little surface rust by the molding. This rust spot has nothing to do with the rest of the car but just how the door skin was repainted. Matches perfect just probably not sealed correctly. The engine light and abs light are on. The engine light is on due to the aftermarket downpipes. The exhaust tone on this beast is simply amazing. There are some scratches and minor dings from normal wear and tear mainly on the front bumper. Please look at the pictures as I took pics of the TLC areas. Even though this S4 needs a little loving, it is such a solid ride. There aren’t many out there with less than 100,000 miles that actually had the Audi recommended maintenance done including the timing belt. Don’t miss out on this chance to own a clean Audi with only top of the line aftermarket parts as I am going to loss my A$$, but that was expected. My loss is your gain! Please call me at 701-214-2025 with any questions or shoot me an email. I will also accept offers to end the auction early so just let me know. Also please check my 100% positive feedback as I pride myself on my good reputation on eBay! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

2013 Audi RS6 Avant [w/video]

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Latest, Greatest Autobahn Bomber Will Not Be Denied - Except To Us
Back in 2008, I was fortunate enough to test the second-generation Audi RS6 Avant in southern France on the supremely well-sorted circuit at Le Castellet, a.k.a. Paul Ricard. I was thrown out there with the 572-horsepower bi-turbo 5.0-liter V10-equipped behemoth behind one of Audi's DTM pros and was convinced in short order that the flaming hippo in my hands was going to get the better of me on one or another of the track's tight esses. I made it out alive and invigorated, of course, but knew that that RS6 Avant was the heaviest that these thunderwagons should ever be allowed to get. At around 4,650 pounds with driver aboard, it was just way more lateral momentum at speed than any pilot needs on a track - or for that matter, on a favorite hot curving road.
Now it's time for the 2013 Audi RS6 Avant to lay us out with a flying scissor kick from the corner ropes. This version of the highway and byway marauder from Quattro GmbH is a decidedly greater piece of work than was the car I drove in 2008. This time, there will only be the Avant body configuration - no RS6 sedan - and, as with the previous generation, North America won't be at the receiving end when deliveries start at the end of July this year.

2019 Infiniti QX50 vs. compact luxury SUV rivals: How they compare

Thu, Feb 1 2018

With apologies to the EX35, or whatever it was eventually renamed, Infiniti has been without a proper, competitive entry in the compact luxury SUV segment. You know, the segment that's growing faster in sales and entries than any other? To say the 2019 Infiniti QX50 is long awaited would therefore be an understatement. At first glance and drive, the new QX50 would indeed seem to be wildly more competitive than its predecessor, which come to think of it, was eventually called the QX50 as well. This one is based on an all-new front-wheel-drive platform, and although it lacks the inherent verve of the old, rear-drive- and 370Z-based one, the resulting increase in cabin space should be a welcome tradeoff. In fact, as you'll see below, the QX50 has gone from one of the smallest compact SUVs to the most spacious. How does it stack up in every other way? Say, against the segment's four best-selling entries last year: the 2018 Lexus NX 300, 2018 Acura RDX, 2018 Audi Q5 and 2018 BMW X3. On paper at least, really well as it turns out. Let's go to the spreadsheet! Discover and compare other luxury crossovers with our Car Finder and Compare tools. Comparing engines, drivetrains and transmissions With the exception of the Acura, all of the contenders come with 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines. As you can see, the Infiniti is the heavyweight amongst the four-bangers, boasting the most horsepower and torque. The Acura V6 nips it by 11 hp, but the QX50 is still the overall torque champ. Plus, as we documented in the QX50 first drive, the Infiniti's new VC-Turbo engine is also the most technologically advanced. The Lexus is the wimp of the group and is also the second-heaviest, which isn't exactly the ideal scenario. The Infiniti is the only one in the group to feature a continuously variable transmission. That's not going to generate much applause around here. The BMW tops the gear count with eight, while the Audi is the only entry with a dual-clutch automated manual. The Acura and Lexus have only six gears, but they're good transmissions and it's not like their fuel economy is off the pace. The Audi and BMW come standard with all-wheel drive, while the others offer a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. Comparing cargo and interior space The new front-wheel-drive platform is paying dividends inside for the 2019 QX50, as it now boasts the most maximum cargo space at 65.1 cubic feet.

Audi boss can't say no to F1 program

Sun, May 10 2015

Audi has been a dominant force at the top rung of endurance racing for over a decade. Still, rumors have fired up again about the possibility of the company making a big switch to Formula 1. The Four Rings' boss Rupert Stadler isn't ready to make that decision yet, but he's not ruling it out. When asked by Auto Express about the potential of Audi entering F1 in the next five years, Stadler gave an intriguing answer. "It's something we're looking at, but then we're always looking at it and many other things. But I can't say yes or no," he said. While not at all a confirmation, that's hardly an outright denial, either. According to unnamed insiders speaking to Auto Express, Audi is under pressure from Volkswagen Group to leave the FIA World Endurance Championship. Right now, the Four Rings is competing directly against its corporate sibling Porsche. While that might make for a good rivalry on the track, it doesn't necessarily make sense financially. Rumors last year suggested that Audi might leave the WEC and DTM to finance the F1 project. Two possibilities were proposed at the time: act as engine supplier to Red Bull or buy Toro Rosso to run a whole new team. Stadler's non-denial might also indicate that Audi's view on F1 is shifting. In the past, the company's opinion has been much more obvious. Last year, Audi Sport tweeted that the rumormongering was "pure speculation." As far back as 2011, the brand's motorsport boss said grand prix racing had "no relevance to the road." Related Video:
