Presenting an exceptionally clean 2001.5 Audi S4 B5 generation with the 6 speed manual transmission. We have just completed a stage 3 build, all parts are brand new. Genuine Borg Warner RS4 turbo chargers, 034 motor sport injectors, 034 motor sport enlarged mass air flow sensor, AEM Big Tank Methanol Injection System, H and R Fully Adjustable Coilover Suspension System, Genuine RS4 Y-pipe, APR R1 Diverter Valves, Down Pipes with Milltek Exhaust, AEM Boost Gauge, RS4 Clutch Kit with Freshly Resurfaced Flywheel, 034 motor sport software and more! We decided to perform a stage 3 build on this specific S4 because it is 1 owner, clean, and extremely well kept, its never been in an accident, and the supporting unibody and frame is in excellent shape for the increase in power. We performed thousands in maintenance before the build began, such as fully rebuilt cylinder heads with fresh valves, inspected lower block, bearings, crankshaft, installed new rear brake calipers, new brakes/rotors, new upper and lower control arms and guide links, performed full timing belt and water pump, replaced all valve cover gaskets, cam seals and cam plugs, installed a set of Michelin Pilot
Sport tires with over 75% tread, replaced clutch system, installed fresh NGK spark plugs, replaced all filters, replaced throttle body boot with an upgraded version, replaced LCD info display center in Cluster with new one. There are no existing issues and the car is very powerful, compression is 100% solid, approx. 190 psi per cylinder with no pressure variance between each cylinder. While the engine was out in our lap, we are were able to inspect front and rear main seals, and essentially every degree and angle of this engine, top to bottom. The car runs great and the acceleration is very impressive, the brand new H and R suspension is a little tighter than the factory suspension, but certainly does not sacrifice much ride quality. There is no check engine light and the car has already passed state emissions, so registration is straight forward. Please look carefully at the photos to see how nice this S4 truly is, this is not your average everyday 13 year old Audi S4 with mods, the paint is excellent and still shines like new, there are no door dings, the wheels show no curb rash, no rock chips in windshield, no rock chips on front bumper (originally had leather bra), the exterior is exceptional and we rate this S4 top 10% for what we've sold through the years here. The interior is basically flawless, all buttons and controls work, non smoker, no cracks in seats or anywhere in interior, door trim panels are clean and no pieces are cracked or faded, all speakers are factory and work 100%, steering wheel is still supple and clean like it was new. The special quality about this Audi S4 is that all parts are new and the car is considered a fresh build. With fresh parts and the comprehensive service work, all the question marks and uncertainty that usually accompanies a highly modified car have been eliminated. The vehicle has been maintained properly since new, and we have serviced the car "up to date", only about 3% of used cars are serviced up to date. All areas have been inspected, serviced, and quality control tested by a Certified Audi Technician. The service work and cost of modifications easily exceed $20,000, all OEM parts and the best you can find for upgraded parts. We've been selling/servicing/building S4's for over 10 years now! If you are looking for a quality car, quality build, and an unbelievable drive experience, this S4 offers just that. if you have any questions, feel free to contact me anytime, we do have pictures of all the work in progress, photos of new turbo chargers, photos of valve covers off, etc. We do ship nationwide. Feel free to reserve this S4 with a deposit anytime. we can send specific pics upon your request, copy of carfax etc. it is a carfax certified 1 owner accident free vehicle. 615.390.4334

Audi, Jag, Kia and Tesla top Strategic Vision 2014 Total Quality Index
Sun, 06 Jul 2014A couple weeks ago, J.D. Power released its latest Initial Quality Study, which gave high marks to Porsche, Hyundai and General Motors, with the latter earning more individual IQS awards than any other manufacturer. Now, it's Strategic Vision's turn, and it's doling out its praise not to Porsche, but to Tesla, which wasn't even included in the JD Power IQS.
The Model S was named the best vehicle overall in total quality, while Porsche's corporate brother and endurance-racing rival, Audi, was named the best premium brand, alongside Jaguar. Strategic Vision cited the Q5 and the ancient Q7 for individual segment awards, as well as the A5, which was a mere point off the top of its segment. SV also handed out compliments for the Audi's interior work. The win for the German brand is a nice improvement over its IQS score, with which it landed above the industry average, but solidly mid-pack.
Jaguar was without a segment winner, although SV did say that the Indian-owned English brand had a number of vehicles very near the top of their segments. This is the second significant win for Jag in two weeks, after it finished second overall on the JD Power IQS a few weeks ago.
Audi Sport Quattro Concept to race into Frankfurt
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Audi has pulled the official wraps off its new Sport Quattro Concept, which will be debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The automaker is understandably keen to draw inspiration from its classic Quattro line of automobiles, specifically the original Ur-Quattro from 1980 and the short-wheelbase Sport Quattro that took part in rally racing and set a record at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb in 1987. A massive dose of modernity comes courtesy of its 700-horsepower plug-in hybrid powertrain.
There is a clear link in the styling of the Sport Quattro Concept to Quattro coupes of the past, from the large flat surfaces that make up its C pillars to the blisters over the fenders and the basic headlamp shape (equipped as they are with Audi's Matrix LED technology). Pay special attention to the car's grille, which introduces a slightly new design language that is expected to be seen in the next generation of Audi's mainstream production models.
The interior of the Sport Quattro Concept is a refreshing departure from Audi's admittedly attractive and useable design, with sharp lines and lots of visible carbon fiber. There are seats for four occupants inside, along with a comparatively generous cargo area measuring 10.59 cubic feet.
Are supercars becoming less special?
Thu, Sep 3 2015There's little doubt that we are currently enjoying the golden age of automotive performance. Dozens of different models on sale today make over 500 horsepower, and seven boast output in excess of 700 hp. Not long ago, that kind of capability was exclusive to supercars – vehicles whose rarity, performance focus, and requisite expense made them aspirational objects of desire to us mortals. But more than that, supercars have historically offered a unique driving experience, one which was bespoke to a particular model and could not be replicated elsewhere. But in recent years, even the low-volume players have been forced to find the efficiencies and economies of scale that formerly hadn't been a concern for them, and in turn the concept of the supercar as a unique entity unto itself is fading fast. The blame doesn't fall on one particular manufacturer nor a specific production technique. Instead, it's a confluence of different factors that are chipping away at the distinction of these vehicles. It's not all bad news – Lamborghini's platform sharing with Audi for the Gallardo and the R8 yielded a raging bull that was more reliable and easier to live with on a day-to-day basis, and as a result it went on to become the best-selling Lambo in the company's history. But it also came at the cost of some of the Italian's exclusivity when eerily familiar sights and sounds suddenly became available wearing an Audi badge. Even low-volume players have been forced to find economies of scale. Much of this comes out of necessity, of course. Aston Martin's recent deal with Mercedes-AMG points toward German hardware going under the hood and into the cabin of the upcoming DB11, and it's safe to assume that this was not a decision made lightly by the Brits, as the brand has built a reputation for the bespoke craftsmanship of its vehicles. There's little doubt that the DB11 will be a fine automobile, but the move does jeopardize some of the characteristic "specialness" that Astons are known for. Yet the world is certainly better off with new Aston Martins spliced with DNA from Mercedes-AMG rather than no new Astons at all, and the costs of developing cutting-edge drivetrains and user interfaces is a burden that's becoming increasingly difficult for smaller manufacturers to bear. Even Ferrari is poised to make some dramatic changes in the way it designs cars.
