I'm selling my 2008 Audi S4 GMBH Sport Edition.  If you are in the market for a B7 S4, this is a great opportunity to get a super low mileage car that has been well taken care of by an Audi enthusiast.  This car is rarely driven and has only 26,300 miles on it. When not in use it is kept safe in my garage and has been carefully maintained and serviced by my local Audi dealer, and professionally detailed/waxed twice a year.  I have had no issues with this car and am confident that it wil be a fun and dependable car for whoever has the pleasure of owning it next.

Here are some details about the car.  I tried to include everything that I would want to know if I were buying this car.

The Obvious:  This car has NOT been smoked in, has NOT been tracked, has NOT been stored outside, has not had ANY paintwork, has not been in ANY accidents, and has NO mechanical problems at all.

Exterior Condition:
The exterior of this car is in great condition.  There are NO dents in any of the panels and there are no major scratches or other marks in the paint.  The front fascia does have some small paint chips from normal driving, but that is par for the course with a car like this.  The paint is clean and has been protected with regular detail cleanings and wax treatments. Again, there are no door dings or dents on any of the panels.  They are all perfectly straight and all of the paint is 100% original.

Note:  There is a mark on the front left of the carbon fiber splitter (see pic).  Also, there is a small area on the carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler that is starting to show some peel (see pic).

Exterior Details:
This car has the factory installed Audi GMBH sport package which adds DTM-inspired front and rear bumpers, carbon-fiber front lip and rear trunk lid spoilers, as well as a diffuser and side scoops integrated into the rear bumper.  This package also includes RS4 style wheels which are another point of extinction from the typical S4.  The tires are in good shape and have about 5K miles on them.  There is also a full-size spare in the trunk with a flawless extra wheel that matches the rest of the set.

Interior Condition:
The interior of this car is in great condition.  The car still smells new and has factory installed leather Recaro seats.  The leather is in great condition and has no tears, marks, or other imperfections.  I have kept it very clean - when you sit in this car, it feels like you are in a brand new car.

Interior Details:
This car has every available option, including - Navigation system with DVD, 6-disc changer, heated front and rear seats, back-up sensor, power everything, Bose audio, front and rear forward/side airbags, dual climate control, bluetooth, and just about everything you are expecting it to have.

Additional Details:
I'd love the opportunity to sell my car to another enthusiast who is going to take great care of it.  Please contact me if you have additional questions or want to see a detailed picture of any part of the car.  I'm happy to discuss any questions you might have.  Also, I can help arrange shipping the car to you, or if you are in the NJ area, you can pick it up in-person.  If you choose to have it shipped, I can put you in touch with a reliable company I have used when shipping cars in the past.

With increased range, Audi R8 E-Tron revving up for production. Maybe

Mon, Jan 20 2014

As Tesla Motors proved mightily in 2013, an expensive EV with a long range can sell quite nicely, thank you very much. Perhaps Audi was taking notes, since its all-electric R8 E-Tron's on-again/off-again odyssey appears to be on again, according to UK's Autocar, citing Audi's Urlich Hackenburg. The model is near the approval stage for production, and the key to the green-light is the fact that its single-charge range has been almost doubled to 250 miles. The R8 E-Tron gained kudos in these parts last June by turning in a rather brisk 8:09 time around Germany's Nurburgring track, a record for a production electric vehicle (check out the really quiet video here). Still, plans for the 376-horsepower model, which has two electric motors and was first shown off at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2009, had been put on the proverbial blocks largely because of a relatively short single-charge range of about 150 miles. Then word came out last spring that Audi would produce maybe 10 units before reports from Australia's Drive late last year indicated that plans for potentially broader production were being resuscitated.

Elon Musk: Teslas will already know where we’re going

Tue, Oct 31 2017

In the future, cars will drive us. And probably not surprisingly, they'll often know where to go without us even needing to tell them. That's the theme of a short back-and-forth conversation on Twitter recently between Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk and a user who tagged him in a comment suggesting that "it would be cool" to be able to tell a car where to go. Responding to user James Harvey, Musk replied, "It won't even need to ask you most of the time." Later, after Harvey asked how the car would know where he wants to go, another user suggested that the car would know what time you go to work. "Yeah, don't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes," Musk tweeted. It won't even need to ask you most of the time — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 21, 2017 Yeah, don't exactly need to be Sherlock Holmes. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) October 21, 2017 That the ability to know where we're going will be part of our future driving experience shouldn't be surprising. After all, the smartphones we carry around already possess the ability to predict what we want — think Google's cleverness in tailoring search results or providing traffic information just before your commute, Facebook's highly customized News Feed content or even auto-fill technology, which can predict the words you're typing. And plenty of automakers have been touting their own work in developing in-car artificial intelligence systems. Like Audi's Elaine concept, which will be able to learn, think and even empathize with drivers. Or Mitsubishi's e-Evolution concept, which can not only assist your driving, but also assess your skills and teach you how to improve them. Tesla's vehicles, of course, are being outfitted with all the latest autonomous driver-assist technology, with the automaker eager to one day reach full Level 5 self-driving capability. According to Inc., Teslas will be able to listen and respond to directional commands, and they'll even have access to your calendar to comb for information about where you need to go. Tesla has also said it's developing an update to its Autopilot hardware and remains on track to achieve full Level 5 autonomous driving by the end of this year, which strikes a lot of people as wildly unrealistic. At any rate, the promise of cars knowing what time we're sneaking out to get donuts or picking up the kids is interesting, coming from the man who has warned that AI presents "a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization."Related Video:
