2012 Audi R8 on 2040-cars
Parma, Missouri, United States
I am always available by mail at: berthabvvincelette@ukreps.com .
This car is a 9.8 out of 10.0. It has new tires, new brakes,
Kreissieg Exhaust, Alpha Performance ECU tune, and BMC Air Filters. It has factory carbon fiber everywhere. The car
still smells new on the inside. It has the Audi bluetooth option, and every other option you can imagine. The car
puts out over 625 horsepower. It has been extremely well taken care of in a heated and cooled garage. Never
tracked, never raced, you can clearly tell by the condition of the car. No body work or paint work. Clean car fax.
I'm selling to make room for another purchase.
Everyone wants to know what Kreissieg Exhaust sounds like. It sounds like a Formula 1 race car. It is a true exotic
sound that you can only find in Ferrari and Formula 1. In my opinion, it sounds better than any Ferrari I've ever
heard. You can turn the exhaust off with the push of the button on the remote for cold starts and leaving the
neighborhood on Sunday morning.

Audi working on new Quattro-centric horizontal design language
Wed, 22 Jan 2014If we were to opine that Audi needed a new design language, we certainly wouldn't be the first. Because while most of the vehicles wearing the Four Rings these days look slick enough, they all tend to look rather similar, and perhaps lack a certain amount of character. If the latest rumors are to be believed, Audi is working on just such a design overhaul.
The new design language being developed in the studios at Ingolstadt is said to differ from the current theme in two ways. For one, it's set to be dominated by a more horizontal approach, eschewing the tall vertical grille that dominates the noses of many of Audi's current models in favor of one that stretches more widely across the fascia.
For another, Edmunds projects that the new design language will emphasize the four-wheel-drive setup that has become Audi's hallmark. We understand that to mean more muscular wheel arches, with the rest of the design revolving around that element for an overall look that's more visually planted on the road. We'll have to wait to see how this theme develops, but the rumors at least indicate that Audi is aware of its design issues and is working to address it.
Audi A7 getting nip and tuck
Tue, 21 Jan 2014It's been less than two years since the Audi A7 first went on sale in the US, but European buyers have been able to enjoy the sleek and stylish hatchback for twice as long. As such, Audi is preparing to give its A7 a mild refresh with tweaked exterior styling, but we're also expecting some of the features found in the all-new 2015 Audi A8 to possibly trickle down to the A7.
From what we can tell in these spy shots, the A7 is getting a minor facelift that includes a restyled front fascia and new headlights, which will likely boast Audi's new Matrix LED system. At the rear of the car, similar changes have been made with a fascia that now gets integrated outlets and different taillights that have a Lamborghini-like display.
Not apparent in these images - but still a good bet for production - we'd expect to see the new A7 get some of Audi's updated engines or new driver assist technologies. No definite word as to when we'll be seeing the refreshed A7 in person, but considering how close to production ready as this car seems to be, our bet is on the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Audi trademarks SQ2, SQ4, Q9 and F-Tron nameplates
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Audi is planning a whole raft of new models for the near future, and now we have further insight into what at least some of those models might be. The German automaker has reportedly filed trademarks for a series of model names, including SQ2, SQ4, Q9 and F-Tron.
Following in the footsteps of the SQ5 performance crossover, the SQ2 and SQ4 nameplates would seem to indicate that Audi is planning performance versions of its upcoming compact crossovers. The Q9 would suggest that a larger crossover is in the works to slot in above the already gargantuan Q7. And the F-Tron name could be used for a fuel-cell version of the A7 or other models, following a similar naming pattern to the e-tron range of electric vehicles.
Of course Audi could simply be filing these trademarks as a safeguard and may not actually build any of these models. But one way or another, it indicates a certain measure of intent exists as Ingolstadt gears up to expand its lineup with 11 new models in the next few years.
