2003 Audi A6 Sedan 4-door 3.0l Quattro on 2040-cars
Middletown, New Jersey, United States
Up for sale is one of my vehicles ive been working on in my spare time, ive been a Volkswagen and Audi Mechanic. for 15 yrs, Its a 2003 Audi A6 which is in Good condition, i was working on it to be my daily driver but found a truck ive been looking for so am selling this car. I just completed the timing belt service along with New water pump, Timing pulleys, T-belt tensioner and Coolant. I also just had the heads off to replace all the intake and exhaust valves, Headgaskets, Spark plugs, Valve cover gaskets, Fresh oil change and filter with Mobil 1 synthetic. The engine has used Mobil 1 since new and is very clean internally. Also just put in a new battery. As for the recent items, I put New tires on before i started doing the engine work. The tires have less than 1k miles on them. Within the last 2 years i replaced the shocks and struts, All brakes and rotors, Maf sensor, Ignition coils and the Pass.Cat Converter. The car runs and drives very well. The interior has normal wear nd tear, nothing bad, overall clean. The rear bumper has a few scratches in the plastic, the right front fender has a small dent in the corner at the headlight as can be seen in the pic. As far as the interior, the climate control buttons on the inside of the car, the surface of 6 of the lower buttons have wear which is a common thing, it does not affect its functionality. The driver seat has a 3 inch crack in the leather by the rear seam, cloth not ripped, not very noticable. other than that theres normal wear and tear but in decent shape if you ask me. the pics should show everything. If you have any questions feel free to email me at Vwaudiman1218@gmail.com

2016 Audi TT [w/video]
Wed, 10 Sep 2014What came first, the metrosexual or the Audi TT? While it was close, the descriptor-turned-epithet preceded the 1995 concept car by one year. However, they were both notable cultural evolutions and they happened to work together perfectly. Hugh Grant, playing the cad Will Freeman in the 2002 film About a Boy, could not have chosen a better example of character than his silver TT.
A decade later, the original TT was still important enough that when rumors of the third-generation coupe began to surface in late 2012, the most exciting fantasy was that the 2014 coupe might "recapture some of the distinctiveness and impact" of a 16-year-old car (the TT came to market in 1998). Even speculation by dedicated Audi observers thought the brand would do something novel, even if not mimicry. The obvious takeaway: no one was going to be lighting any candles for the departed second generation. All of that is why when the first leaked image slipped onto the Internet, people began to get suspicious. When the third generation took the stage at the Geneva Motor Show, we could almost hear the digital deflation over the Ethernet, our poll results notwithstanding.
Yet it's still the TT, and in spite of having seen its interior and virtual cockpit and clocked its specs, we couldn't judge it before heading to Marbella, Spain to drive it. What we found out was while it's better than the second generation, it's still very much a TT.
Audi S1 officially shows itself as 228-hp hot hatch [w/video]
Wed, 12 Feb 2014We got the first leaked pics of the new Audi S1 Sportback five-door hot hatch yesterday, and as expected, Audi has unloaded the full details today, including confirmation of its S1 three-door sibling ahead of its debut at next month's Geneva Motor Show. The two cars are essentially identical aside from their door counts, and together, they represent a new entry-level rung into Audi's S car range.
The subcompact S1 is propelled by Audi's ubiquitous 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder, tuned here to produce 228 horsepower and 279 pound-feet with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. The potent combo accelerates the S1 to 62 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds (5.9 seconds for the Sportback) and on to a top speed of 155 mph. Fuel economy is rated at an average 33.6 miles per gallon (40.3 mpg UK) in the UK cycle. The S also gets a completely different four-link independent suspension to replace the less sophisticated torsion beam setup found in the standard A1.
Styling also gets a bump in aggressiveness that befit the S1's performance upgrades. In addition to a new body kit with a lower front air dam and 17-inch wheels, the S1 comes standard with Xenon headlights, LED taillights and two new available exterior colors - Vegas Yellow and Sepang Blue. The interior gets combination leather and cloth sport seats, piano black trim and a retractable 6.5-inch color infotainment display.
Audi looks at the future of transportation for Ender's Game film
Tue, 29 Oct 2013The forthcoming science-fiction movie Ender's Game, starring Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley, takes place in a high-tech world. So if movie-watchers are to be fully immersed in the story, every detail counts. That's why the computer-generated special-effects company assigned to the movie, Digital Domain, enlisted the help of Audi to design a future car that would fit seamlessly in the film's world - part of its $17.2-million investment in the movie.
Audi went all out, with Head of Audi Exterior Studio 1 Frank Rimili and designer Björn Wehrli assigned to the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro's design, which is so thorough and cohesive that we wouldn't be surprised to see cars like it on the road three-quarters of a century down the line. Rimili doubts that, but is "absolutely sure" Audi will still be around in 2088.
Watch the making-of video below to see all of the work that went into designing a car that will never see the light of day - in the real world, that is. If you're a fan of science fiction or the novel on which the movie is based, head on over to a theater to watch Ender's Game, which opens on Friday.
