Audi A4, Convertible, 1.8 Turbo on 2040-cars
Palm Harbor, Florida, United States
ONE OF A KIND!!!! This 2004 Audi A4, was customized for entry in auto show competitions and won every time! NO ACCIDENTS, Second owner. It features super powerful surround sound with Hertz speakers and 3 amps, with Audison audio controller. The car is illuminated by LED lights inside and out. There is a blue light under the entire length of the car, and when the door is open an "Audi" mark is displayed on the ground (visible only at night, see pictures). The inside cab has tasteful delicate blue tones which complement the gray leather seats featuring blue stitching, with custom painted blue trim panels. It is equipped with a GPS and rear view camera, 5 TV Alpine screens (one in the front, two on the back of the front seat for back seat passengers, and two in the trunk), alarm with remote starter, and sits on 19 inch TSW wheels. Current tire tread is 80%. Some parts are aftermarket to accommodate the desired style. The check engine light is on due to missing fume pump, which is under the spear tire, however, as you know this does not effect the performance of the car and runs great.

Audi Q7 to be first diesel plug-in from VW group
Sun, Dec 7 2014Lending credence to prior reports, the next Audi Q7 will be available with a diesel-powered, plug-in-hybrid powertrain, Automotive News claims, after speaking to a source in the Volkswagen Group. Both the gas and diesel-powered Q7 will debut in 2015, with the diesel PHV to arrive after that. Unlike Europe's other plug-in diesel, the Volvo V60, Audi's Q7 will be sold on both sides of the Atlantic, the source told AN. You can see a few spy photos of the Q7 PHV above. Audi research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg previously confirmed that diesel plug-ins would be arriving earlier this year, although it wasn't clear which models the ultra-efficient powertrains would be offered on, or which of those would be offered here in the US. Time to play the waiting game...
Audi unveils its Doberhuahua Super Bowl commercial
Mon, 27 Jan 2014With Super Bowl Sunday less than a week away, this week is going to be dominated by anything and everything football related. That includes advertising and the auto industry, as some of the biggest players prepare to launch multi-million-dollar spots hawking their latest and greatest products.
A veteran of Super Bowl ads, Audi's history has been rather checkered, ranging from controversial to funny to Jason Statham. We aren't entirely sure where to place this year's ad. The German brand has released a pair of teaser videos on the so-called Doberhuahua, a crossbreed of a Doberman Pinscher and a Chihuahua. Now, we have the full spot.
We get the message Audi is going for - compromise is bad - but delivering it via a slobbery, mutant dog strikes us as trying a bit too hard to be funny. Take a look below and let us know what you think of the Audi's Doberhuahua spot. And of course, you'll be able to see the new ad come Sunday, when it airs during the Super Bowl.
VW will need to recall 323,700 diesel vehicles in India
Wed, Dec 2 2015Volkswagen Group's diesel emissions scandal continues to spread, and now the automaker must recall 323,700 diesel vehicles in India because of too much pollution, according to Bloomberg. The campaign covers models from several of the group's brands including VW, Audi, and Skoda. The Automotive Research Association of India first discovered the emissions irregularities after conducting its own real world and lab tests, and the Indian government then commanded VW to explain what was happening. The country's regulators will allow the automaker to set the recall schedule for the repairs, according to a government official who spoke to Bloomberg, and the campaign will likely happen in phases. Among the affected vehicles, there will be about 100,000 from the VW brand including the Jetta, Passat, and some variants of the Polo. VW already has repairs for some of the affected diesel engines in Europe, and the company can allegedly fix the emissions problem with new software and small hardware changes. The situation is harder in the US where regulators still need to approve any proposed solutions, and VW also must now recall its 3.0-liter V6 TDI in California to eliminate other problematic code. The German automaker faces investigations from regulators all over the world into its emissions evasions, and they could be quite costly. One estimate already suggests the minimum price of the potential repairs, fines, and other expenses at about $24.5 billion. Officials in Brazil have already fined the company $13 million for pollution issues with the diesel Amarok pickup and requested a recall to fix them.
