2007 Audi A4 Base Sedan 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
New York, New York, United States
· This very low mileage (54,322 miles) 2007 Audi A4 has a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder (designated 2.0T FSI) making 200 horsepower. ·
This
"Quattro" all-wheel-drive version comes with a six-speed Tiptronic
automatic. ·
ESP
stability control with anti-lock brakes and brake assist. ·
The
Sideguard head air bag system, offers full head protection even when the car
rolls over after a primary collision. In the front seats, there are RearGuard
head restraints aimed at preventing whiplash injuries. · The interior sports black leather seats with aluminum inlays.Cold weather package affords heated driver and passenger seats. All weather mats are installed currently in the front passenger and back seats. The driver's seat has a carpet mat. I have a brand new set of carpet mats for the remaining seats. · 60/40-split
folding back seat, plus a storage compartment hidden below the cargo floor and
an extra 12-volt outlet. · There are also storage spaces under the front seats. I am the original owner (my ex-husband was the original title holder) of this car that was purchased in 2008 from an Audi dealer in Northern New Jersey. The car is smoke-free and the interior is in excellent condition (just a handful of people have sat in the back seat). The warranty on this car expired when the car reached 50,000 miles. I have kept up with regular service appointments at the dealership. There have been some oil leaks that have been repaired, though I do notice that the oil does need to be replenished about every 3 months. The driving experience is not affected by this in any way. The car hugs the road and drives excellently on all road types and is particularly safe in the inclement weather. The turbo engine gives the car excellent pick up. There are some scratches and dings that I have tried to show in the pictures. 1. Scratch on bumper to the left of the license plate2. Scratch on driver door just above the door handle 3. Scratch on the back passenger side door just above the door trim 4. A few chips and small scratch on the bumper 5. Some scrapes on the tire rims. I am still using the car for short distances so if you would like an exact mileage, closer to the end of the auction, please let me know. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask. |

A8 Audi Exclusive Concept shows off brand's interior chops
Sat, 16 Nov 2013It's an envious position to be in, not wanting a normal Audi A8 but not wanting to make the statement that comes with a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce. What's an oligarch to do? Well, if you have the funds, consider the A8 Audi Exclusive Concept (yes, that's the actual name), a modified A8L W12 that's limited to just 50 units and features a significantly upgraded interior. Think of it as a followup to the A8 Exclusive Concept, shown at Frankfurt in 2011.
Aniline leather from Italian furniture manufacturer Poltrona Frau is fitted over the seats, while diamond stiching accentuates the Agatha Cognac color. Granite Gray piping and stitching on the seats provides some contrast - not just with the leather but the natural, olive ash inlays on the dash. Granite Gray Nappa leather lines the instrument panel and steering wheel while a white Alcantara headliner sets off the whole package. Not that it's a shock, but this looks like a really nice place to spend some time.
It's unclear how much the exclusive concept treatment adds on to the already lofty $135,900 starting price of a US-spec A8L W12, or if the special interior treatment will even be available in the North America. Production is set to kick off next March. Scroll down for the full statement from Audi.
2015 Audi Q3
Mon, Apr 13 2015There are two ways to approach a brand-new segment in the auto industry. First, an automaker can take a gamble and introduce a completely new vehicle, catering to the specific demands of the marketplace(s) in question. In the compact, premium CUV segment, we've seen Buick do this with the Encore, and Mercedes-Benz with the GLA-Class. The other option is to introduce a vehicle already sold in another market. Considering the amount of time it takes to bring a new vehicle from paper to production, there is plenty to gain in the short-term with this approach. It's not without its downsides, though, as we found after a week behind the wheel of the 2015 Audi Q3, a vehicle that was initially launched in 2011. Cute though it may be – it was referred to at least once by a passerby during our testing as "totes adorbs" – Ingolstadt's decision to introduce a vehicle that's already been on sale for four years, and is effectively approaching the last half of its lifecycle, leaves the Q3 at a significant disadvantage relative to the newer competition. Despite crossing its first auto show stage four years ago, the Q3 remains a handsome little bugger. Audi's designs, while conservative, tend to age very well, and the compact Q3 is no exception. It's like a scaled-down Q5 in most respects, although certain design pieces, like its more aggressively raked rear window and shorter front and rear overhangs, belie the significantly smaller Q3's figure. Due to its age, the Q3 was, fortunately, designed before the current A3 hit the market. That means it avoids the unattractive, minimalist dash of the A3, opting for a more traditional Audi design, with a strip of brushed aluminum on the passenger's side, a user-friendly center stack and a suitably large nav screen front and center. While the overall layout is attractive, the material quality is not what we'd expect of a newer Audi. There's nothing that feels exceedingly cheap – the plastics just feel old and too familiar. It's difficult to describe, but as soon as you climb in the Q3, things like the switchgear for the HVAC controls immediately remind you that this is a vehicle that's been on sale since 2011. While our definition of interior quality has evolved over the years, our idea of a driver-friendly cabin has not. The Q3 scores highly in this regard, featuring the elevated seating position that makes CUVs so popular with the general public.
Audi, McLaren to bring winning cars back to Le Mans
Tue, May 19 2015Now gearing up for its 83rd running, the 24 Hours of Le Mans is as much about history as it is about racing forward. So this year, two key outfits in the event's history are celebrating by bringing back the cars with which they dominated in years past. Audi has been a force to be reckoned with and the team to beat at Le Mans in the modern era. It still may not have topped its sister brand and chief rival Porsche's record 16 wins, but Audi's 13 have all come in the past fifteen years since the turn of the millennium. That's one heck of a winning streak, which the German outfit will highlight by bringing every single one of its winning prototypes back to La Sarthe this year. From the R8 that kicked it all off in 2000 through the diesel R10 TDI to the R18 E-Tron Quattro that won last year. Ingolstadt won't be alone in racing down memory lane. McLaren announced it will be bringing back all five F1 GTRs that dominated the race in 1995. The quintet that finished first, third, fourth and thirteenth overall will lead a parade lap around the French circuit, joined by the new P1 GTR that will be making its dynamic debut as well as the customer examples of the special edition 650S Le Mans. What's more, winning drivers from '95 – Yannick Dalmas, Masanori Sekiya and JJ Lehto – will be on hand to participate in the parade lap as well, further highlighting the occasion. Since 2000, the brand has won the race 13 times. This year, Audi has assembled all of its Le Mans winning models for a group photo for the first time. Every single one of them represents 'Vorsprung durch Technik.' The string of victories began with the Audi R8 in 2000. "Following a year of learning and gathering experience at Le Mans, we started the 2000 season with a completely new design," says Head of Audi Motorsport Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich.
