Very nice car, I'm selling to move into a new A4. Taking into consideration this vehicle is an 03, it's in excellent condition. It has the right package, the right wheels, right color. It just looks really good and drives great. Amazing in the snow. 2-way auto-start with excellent range. (2 way means you will know it running after you hit the button). All 4 matching OEM tires with very good tread depth left. More than half left. Aftermarket window tint. 50% still legal. HID Headlights. This is a must! Premium best looking wheels available. Homelink- for programming your garage door etc. Parrot Bluetooth. This I will miss. This bluetooth sounds better than any bluetooth in any new car. I'm not sure why but you can't tell I'm on bluetooth one bit. It works great. Heated front seats. Excellent gas mileage. Audi all-weather rubber floor mats. Runs and drives perfect. |

I had an engagement a while back with the Audi RS5 Cabriolet in Monaco, and getting me from my lair in northern Italy by plane connection is an utter waste of time since the first flight is always to either Paris, Zurich, or Rome, three cities not at all on the way to Monaco. So I phoned Audi Italia about a quick loan of a car for the three-hour-ish drive to this event, and they were simpatici enough to propose that I keep whatever they gave me for two weeks. And what they gave me was a loaded Audi S8 with properly chosen 20-inch Dunlop SP Winter Sport treads attached.
This was about to be a much cooler two weeks than I had planned.
Audi celebrates 500k TT models with new TTS Competition
Wed, 14 Aug 2013The stylish Audi TT first debuted in 1998, and while we've only seen two generations of the car over the course of 15 years, some 500,000 examples have been sold. To mark the occasion, Audi has created this special TTS Competition model, available as either a coupe or a roadster and limited to just 500 units.
Competition models are set apart from the rest of the TTS range by their unique paint colors - Imola Yellow and Nimbus Gray. Additionally, the limited-run TTS wears new five-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels and features a fixed rear wing (like the one on the TT RS).
Leather upholstery is found inside the cabin, done up in steel gray with yellow accents. Of course, there are special numbered plaques on the door trims, simply saying "1 of 500."
Audi 4.2-liter V8 to live again in next-gen R8
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Fellow auto enthusiasts, it looks like the car gods have smiled upon us. Word is that Audi's stupendous 4.2-liter V8 will once again be available in the next-generation R8. Rumors pegged the trusty 4.2 as a dead engine revving, thanks to Audi's newer 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 found in models like the S6 and S7.
We expected the 4.0-liter to be the go-to engine in the next R8, but according to Car and Driver, there have been some issues cooling the force-induced mill in the mid-engine R8. The issues are so severe, in fact, that the 4.2 is going to be retained in the car's second generation.
It's more than just practical matters like cooling that are keeping the R8 from going turbocharged. C/D reports that even with the current state of forced induction, a turbocharged R8's throttle response and its resultant exhaust note would suffer too much to be feasible.
