Condition:

Near mint condition – appears to have fewer miles.  All features work 100%.  No accidents or paint work – no touch up paint.  We used it for commuting only.  Our commute is 75 per day.  New car smell.  There are no scratches or rub marks on the interior.

Paint is near perfect.  Detailer said the paint is in amazing condition.  We were careful with parking and driving.  Minor highway type nicks, very minor.

Wheel paint is 100%.  There is one small section of curb rash.

Tires are Continental DWS all season which are currently the highest rated all season tire.  They are at 70% tread.

The windshield has a rub mark on the driver side where the plastic end of the wiper blade scratched the window.  Not sure if it is plastic or in the glass.

We have original keys, all books, all original accessories, and original window sticker.

We are not driving the car so it will be turned over pretty much fully detailed.

Factory Warranty:

Factory bumper to bumper Audi warranty is active until August 15th or 50,000 miles.  This car has never had any warranty service issues, but it would be worth dropping off in august for a once over at Audi.

Modifications:

Wheel spacers front and rear – The options 18” S-Line wheel offset is too far inward from the factory and these give them the proper Audi tuck in the wheel well.
SUV Tint – We added 35% tint to the rear doors and back window and there in no tint on the front windows.
Roof Wrap – The roof on the A3 cars with sunroof is painted black.  The sun room can be a down as it takes away headroom and adds weight up high.  My wife and I like the look of the black roof so we had it wrapped.  This can be removed peeled off if you prefer the all-white look.

Factory Features:

S Line Package – Sport seats / Sport Steering Wheel / S Line Suspension / S Line badges
18” S Line Wheels
Premium Plus Package
Convenience Package – Diming mirrors, compass, rain and light sensor, parking sensors
S Tronic transmission – This car has a 6 Speed manual that is electronically shifted.  Audi says it will never need maintenance and has proven highly reliable – lifetime clutches.
Audi Premium Bose Sound with Auxiliary input and Power in Center Arm Rest for iPhone etc.
Integrated Sirius XM Radio
Bluetooth Hands Free
Adaptive Headlights / LED daytime running lights / Rain sensing wipers
LED Tail Lights
Lojack Car Theft Tracking and recovery

Value:

KBB range is 26900 to 28,000.  NADA is 26,150, but does not account for all the options.

It’s hard to see this car go.  We have never seen another as striking.  It is highly practical and saves us $80 a month on our commute vs our previous car that was a 24/30 mpg car.

Volkswagen profit jumps as it warns of a cooling auto market

Wed, Oct 30 2019

FRANKFURT, Germany — Volkswagen says its profits jumped 44% in the third quarter thanks to a more profitable mix of vehicles in its lineup but warned that global car markets are slowing more than expected and lowered its forecast for annual sales. After-tax profit rose to $4.42 billion (3.98 billion euros) as revenues rose 11% to $68.27 billion (61.42 billion euros). The sales margin of 7.8% exceeded the goal of 6.5-7.5% as vehicles bringing higher profits took a larger share of sales. The Wolfsburg-based automaker pointed to the headwinds facing the industry by saying that it expects "vehicle markets will contract faster than previously anticipated in many regions of the world." It said sales would be "on a level" with last year's record of 10.8 million vehicles. Previously it had expected a slight increase. The company said its profits would be in the lower end of its forecast range. Global automakers are facing a slowdown in sales amid disputes over trade and from pressure in the European Union and China to develop and sell low-emission vehicles that require heavy investment in new technology. Ford and Renault have issued profit warnings in recent days, while Daimler, maker of Mercedes-Benz luxury cars, lost money in the second quarter and is expected to outline a cost-cutting strategy for investors on Nov. 14. Volkswagen is leading the push into electric vehicles in Europe by launching its ID.3 battery-powered compact car at prices it says will make zero local emission vehicles a mass phenomenon. The company was able to increase earnings in the quarter despite an 18% rise in spending on research and development.

TT Offroad Concept shows Audi's design icon isn't afraid to play dirty

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

We'll step right out and say we like the TT Offroad Concept, but there's something that's just a bit too... familiar about it. Yes, this yellow five-door looks like a not-so-distant relative of the Allroad Shooting Brake Concept that debuted at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. So, we've seen the production TT, a super-light, high-performance model and now we're seeing a crossover. Does any of this sound familiar? Considering the Detroit concept earned an editors' choice award for that show, you can imagine how we feel about the strikingly similar TT Offroad, which is debuting at the Beijing Motor Show.
The two concepts share a propulsion system - a high-performance version of Audi's E-Tron plug-in-hybrid drivetrain. Total system output sits at 408 horsepower, thanks to a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder and a 40-kilowatt electric motor in front and an 85-kW motor on the rear axle, for all-wheel drive. 62 miles per hour arrives in 5.2 seconds, while the TT Offroad is limited to 155 mph. Fuel economy is impressive, with a claimed 123.8 US miles per gallon on the European cycle.
The most obvious different between these two, then, are their looks. The TT looks a bit tougher, thanks to its larger 21-inch wheels and narrower headlights, but its more conventional belt and roofline give it more of an Audi Q3's look. Out back, a slightly restyled bumper is the sole differentiator between the two vehicles.

Audi RS6 driven by former Stig Ben Collins egged on in 'The Duel'

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

Apparently driving a 553-horsepower Audi RS6 Avant with carbon-fiber egg launchers that shoot paint-filled eggs is what Stigs do when they retire from Top Gear. And unfortunately for stuntman Damien Walters, he happens to be the target.
Walters - on foot with his paint-eggs and no carbon-fiber launcher - couldn't possibly escape from the Audi, let alone launch his own offensive, could he? You'll have to find out in the video below. And while we won't give away what happens, we'll say this video will definitely put a smile on your face, if you like all-wheel-drive drifting (which you should). We also included a couple more videos for your enjoyment, one of which takes you behind the scenes of The Duel.
