This is a truly unique car. Draws stares from little kids, old ladies, young ladies, JDM fans, and Hot Rod Grandpas! Just put new 2016 plate stickers on. Very mildly driven, by myself and a Grandma before me. I am not the type to drive in a manner that elicits attention from law enforcement. 2006 Audi A3 S-line Since I purchased this car in 2012, I have added many upgrades including:
EBC Ultimax over-sized slotted rotors,
EBC Green Stuff brake pads, (this thing stops on a dime!)
BSH Intake
WHITELINE Anti lift kit
Hotchkis Front and Rear anti roll bars
BORLA stainless muffler
UltraRacing, Four Point Center brace

All of the known handling woe's of the stock A3 and VW/Volkswagen Golf/GTI/TDI wagons, have been eliminated with those upgrades. Car handles as if it is on rails, has nearly zero under steer, and is just a hoot to drive spiritedly. Completely custom tuned,(for quiet cruising and beautiful high rpm song,) full length, cat removed, 3" stainless exhaust, with Borla Performance Muffler Custom Carbon fiber front grille Custom candy apple red accents License plate relocation Plate Height Adjustable Coilovers Custom Machine Candy Apple Red 18" Rims OEM Description: S-line Premium Plus package includes: GPS Front sunroof Rear moon-roof Interactive entertainment controls Steering wheel stereo controls 2.0liter Turbo-charged 4-cylinder engine - Automatic Transmission - FWD - Stability Control - ABS (4-wheel) - Key-less Entry - Air Conditioning - Power Windows - Power Door Locks - Cruise Control - Power Steering - Tilt Wheel - Telescopic Wheel - AM/FM Stereo - - BOSE Premium sound system - CD Player - 10 Disk Changer - Dual Air Bags - Side Air Bags - Power Drivers Seat - Alloy Wheels Height adjustable coil over Shocks and struts. Custom Machine Candy Apple red 8.5x18" Wheels With only the addition of an over sized inter-cooler, and High pressure fuel pump, she is ready for APR's stage II tune that will make this car absolutely MEAN. Has a few little things that one may want to address in order to make her absolutely perfect, but nothing big. Comes with an additional set of stock wheels and tires with 80%+ remaining tread. Will also come with a custom Stainless tubular header that I never got to installing. Is due for the Tiptronic transmission flush and an oil change. I will lower the price accordingly if buyer wishes to address these his or herself. (Take off about a grand on the asking price.) Please text me with any questions. After initial contact is made via text, we can talk via phone, or you can come take a look at it. When I purchased the car in 2012, I addressed all known problematic features of the model, BEFORE they became problems. Thus, the timing belt as been replaced, cam sensor replaced, hi pressure fuel pump replaced, serpentine belt tensioner replaced, etc, etc. Thus, this car will have fewer issues to address than a lower mileage unit.
I paid over $14,500 for this car, then dumped a butt ton of money into it. I own the title, and it has a clean car fax report.I would also consider trading for a low mileage Kawasaki Concours 1400, years 2011 or newer, + $3,000 Cash.

Audi bringing TT Clubsport Turbo concept to Worthersee

Fri, May 8 2015

Is the world ready for an Audi TT with 600 horsepower? Well it had better be, because that's exactly what Ingolstadt has in store for this year's GTI-Treffen at Worthersee, Austria. Billed as a "technology concept," this TT show car packs a 2.5-liter inline-five with two electric turbochargers. Audi is developing electric turbos for its diesel engines, but has found a performance application here in a gasoline engine. The result is a whopping 600 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, driving all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Weighing in at 3,078 pounds and with those electric turbos spooling up quick, it's said to reach 62 in 3.6 seconds en route to a top speed of over 192 miles per hour. In a TT. The turbos are powered by a 48-volt electrical system, juiced by a compact lithium-ion battery in the trunk that can store regenerated power. It's also got a coilover suspension and electric jack to get over obstacles like curbs and speed bumps. The whole thing rides on 20-inch alloys with a two-tone finish, with carbon-ceramic discs to keep it all in check, and as you can see, a rather aggressive-looking widebody aero kit. All of which makes for a rather stunning concept, even if its encroachment on the R8 means it will likely never see production. From May 13 to 16, Audi will be showing its technology concept car on the Worthersee Tour in the Austrian town of Reifnitz. The inspiration for the show car came from the successful Audi 90 IMSA GTO of the late 1980s. A new technology is making its debut under the hood. The car's electric biturbo adds even more dynamism to the driving experience with its spontaneous response. "The electric biturbo signifies a new dimension in driving enjoyment; it boosts sprinting ability and torque and enables high peak power," explains Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Audi Board Member for Technical Development. "In our TDI engines, we are close to production readiness with this technology.

Hackenberg says next Audi A4 set for Frankfurt debut

Tue, Mar 10 2015

The current Audi A4 is among the oldest vehicles in the brand's lineup. Having debuted back in 2008, it's long overdue for an update, and according to our friends at Indian Autos Blog, that'll happen in roughly six months. IAB spoke to Audi research and design chief Ulrich Hackenberg, who indicated that the fifth-generation A4 will be shown at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The new sedan will be unveiled in "a pre-presentation" before the auto show itself, Hackenberg told IAB, adding that "you'll be happy to see it." Information beyond that, though, remains sparse. Based on our previous spy photos, we expect the new A4 to ride on the Volkswagen Group's modular MLB Evo platform that's been stretched to accommodate a larger wheelbase. The styling, meanwhile, will be more evolutionary, inspired in part by the new TT. Expect more on the next-generation A4 as September approaches. Related Video:

Audi reveals R8 E-Tron Piloted Driving concept at CES Asia

Mon, May 25 2015

Designed as they are to take the driver out of the equation, you might think that the idea of an autonomous vehicle would seem diametrically opposed to that of a supercar. But Audi disagrees. The German automaker has cooked up a series of "piloted driving" concepts that are increasingly focused on performance, and this could be the ultimate iteration yet. Audi's latest Piloted Driving demonstrator is based on the R8 E-Tron. It's altogether almost identical to the one we saw in Geneva, packing an electric powertrain to deliver 456 horsepower, 679 pound-feet of torque and a 0-62 time of 3.9 seconds. Only in this case, it can do it all on its own, without any driver intervention. To pull that off, Ingolstadt has fitted this show car with an array of sensors, including a new laser scanner, multiple video cameras, ultrasonic sensors and radar transmitters at both ends – all handled by a central "driver assistance control unit." It's the latest in a series of concept cars that has already included a version of the RS7 Sportback designed to lap the racetrack, and the Prologue concept that drove itself to CES. This concept was similarly unveiled at CES Asia, the Eastern counterpart to the tech expo we usually catch in Las Vegas. Just what the point is in engineering (or buying) one of the best-driving cars on the market and then handing over its operation to a computer, we don't quite get. But at least we can rest easy knowing that Audi is not giving up on performance as autonomous tech turns the driver into just another passenger. Related Video: Audi R8 e-tron piloted driving technical concept car 340 kW of power, 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) in 3.9 seconds and a driving range of 450 km (279.6 mi) – Audi has extensively developed its all-electrically powered high-performance R8 e-tron sports car further. The technology study is one of the highlights of CES Asia, and it brings together future technologies – which relate to lightweight design, high-performance drive systems and functions for piloted driving. The Audi R8 e-tron piloted driving concept car is based on the multimaterial Space Frame of the new production R8. A rear car body module made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) integrates the luggage compartment, which extends the frame structure. The walls of the luggage compartment shell are corrugated, so that they can absorb extreme amounts of energy with little material weight in case of a rear-end collision.
