This is for a very well maintained Audi A3 TDI - S Line.    Tired of finding WHITE, BLACK, and SILVER TDIs, well here is an ARUBA BLUE with Light gray leather interior with a 6 Speed AUTOmatic S tronic transmission.  It has the Cold Weather package (Heated front seats, Heated Windshield washer nozzles, Heated exterior mirrors, and ALL WEATHER FLOOR MATS.

Here are some additional highlights that are in addition to what the car started with:

- Tinted windows
- Lamin-x protection on the front headlights and fog lights
- 3M clearbra on the front, hood, door cups, door edges and below rear hatch.
- Factory Mudflaps
- Factory Rear Seat cover/protector
- 18" BBS LM reps with New Michelin Tires
- 17" Stock wheels with Michelin Xice Tires (almost full tread)
- H&R performance springs
- Bilstein shock front and rear
- Factory Hatchback Floor liner

I have all of the maintenance records as well as when the tires were rotated, replaced, etc.   Audi dealerships have done all of the maintenance on this car.   I need to replace this vehicle with a truck or van that can pull a trailer, so sadly it must go or I would keep this car for sure.  The last A3s were imported in February of this year, so these are getting harder to find, especially the TDI version and good luck finding one in this color.   The mileage is every bit of 42 MPG and sometimes more.   This was a car that I used for highway use from Portland to Seattle so the miles are easy highway miles.

One thing to note is that if you are having the car shipped, you will need to find a shipper to allow the 17" wheel and tires to be inside the car when shipping.   Some do not allow items inside.  If that is the case, I can ship them via fedex ground at your expense.  If you have any question about the car, feel free to call me at 503-891-3959.  Buyer is responsible for pick or shipping.

Weekly Recap: The divergent paths of Tesla and Fisker

Sat, 02 Aug 2014

There's no doubt that Tesla is downshifting while Fisker has been grinding its gears. But it wasn't always that way.
In the wake of Tesla's recent success, it's easy to forget that there were once two California electric carmakers with bright futures.

Next Audi R8 seen and heard in this spy video

Thu, 27 Mar 2014

A few weeks ago, our clandestine spy photographers brought home the first good look at the next-generation Audi R8. We were all pretty stoked.
Seemingly following the game plan of the recently shown Audi TT, the next R8 looks to be an evolutionary update on a supercar form that pretty much everyone loves.
Today, the same shooters that snapped the car in stills have delivered some pretty compelling moving pictures of the thing. Captured both in some less-than-inspiring around-town traffic situations and out on the Nürburgring, the video delivers our first taste of the new R8's auditory splendor. Well... a taste of it, anyway.

Are supercars becoming less special?

Thu, Sep 3 2015

There's little doubt that we are currently enjoying the golden age of automotive performance. Dozens of different models on sale today make over 500 horsepower, and seven boast output in excess of 700 hp. Not long ago, that kind of capability was exclusive to supercars – vehicles whose rarity, performance focus, and requisite expense made them aspirational objects of desire to us mortals. But more than that, supercars have historically offered a unique driving experience, one which was bespoke to a particular model and could not be replicated elsewhere. But in recent years, even the low-volume players have been forced to find the efficiencies and economies of scale that formerly hadn't been a concern for them, and in turn the concept of the supercar as a unique entity unto itself is fading fast. The blame doesn't fall on one particular manufacturer nor a specific production technique. Instead, it's a confluence of different factors that are chipping away at the distinction of these vehicles. It's not all bad news – Lamborghini's platform sharing with Audi for the Gallardo and the R8 yielded a raging bull that was more reliable and easier to live with on a day-to-day basis, and as a result it went on to become the best-selling Lambo in the company's history. But it also came at the cost of some of the Italian's exclusivity when eerily familiar sights and sounds suddenly became available wearing an Audi badge. Even low-volume players have been forced to find economies of scale. Much of this comes out of necessity, of course. Aston Martin's recent deal with Mercedes-AMG points toward German hardware going under the hood and into the cabin of the upcoming DB11, and it's safe to assume that this was not a decision made lightly by the Brits, as the brand has built a reputation for the bespoke craftsmanship of its vehicles. There's little doubt that the DB11 will be a fine automobile, but the move does jeopardize some of the characteristic "specialness" that Astons are known for. Yet the world is certainly better off with new Aston Martins spliced with DNA from Mercedes-AMG rather than no new Astons at all, and the costs of developing cutting-edge drivetrains and user interfaces is a burden that's becoming increasingly difficult for smaller manufacturers to bear. Even Ferrari is poised to make some dramatic changes in the way it designs cars.
