2013 Audi Ttrs With Apr Stage 2+ Upgrade on 2040-cars
Austin, Texas, United States
I'm selling my beloved Panther Black Audi TT-RS because I need room in the garage for another family car.
This low mileage, like-new condition, and garage kept beauty is rare in many ways. The factory Panther Black paint has Audi's "Crystal Effect" which is almost impossible to convey in pictures and quite honestly is half the reason I bought the car in the first place. This TT-RS has had all of its scheduled maintenance at the dealership and has been recently inspected with a flawless record. The stock Audi TT-RS comes with 360 Horsepower, but is actually capable of so much more without breaking a sweat. I have a Stage II+ upgrade installed that basically unlocks the vehicle's potential as was intended by Audi before they dialed the car down so it wouldn't compete with the R8. The estimated power of this particular TT-RS is 431 Horsepower. The first upgrade is the APR Stage 2 ECU flash. The second is the APR RSC Exhaust System. The one installed on this TT-RS is the Full Turboback System (the most expensive one): These are considered very light modifications but make a world of difference in response and power. Included at no additional cost, I am including the original exhaust system in case you want to revert back to stock. This car is a bargain and while it pains me to let go of it, I know it will make someone else extremely happy! :) Shipping: Buyers are responsible for shipping expenses but I will work with you to have the car shipped. Detailing: At no additional cost I will have the car ultra hand detailed ($250 value) so that it arrives in near showroom quality. Deposit: I require a $2,000 deposit up front via paypal. Final Payment: The vehicle is currently being financed, so payment will need to be made via eBay Financing Center, a loan from bank of your choice who will pay off the vehicle on your behalf, or a certified check so I can pay the loan off myself and mail transfer the title to you immediately. |

The mood at this year’s Paris Motor Show: Quiet
Tue, Oct 2 2018The Paris Motor Show, held every other year in the early fall, typically kicks off the annual cavalcade of automotive conclaves, one that traverses the globe between autumn and spring, introducing projective, conceptual and production-ready vehicle models to the international automotive press, automotive aficionados and a public hungry for news of our increasingly futuristic mobility enterprise. But this year, at the press preview days for the show, the grounds of the Porte de Versailles convention center felt a bit more sparsely populated than usual. This was not simply a subjective sensation, or one influenced by the center's atypically dispersed assemblage of seven discrete buildings, which tends to spread out the cars and the crowds. There were not only fewer new vehicles being premiered in Paris this year, there were fewer manufacturers there to display them. Major mainstream European OEM stalwarts such as Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Nissan and Volkswagen chose to sit out Paris this year, as did boutique manufacturers like Bentley, Aston Martin and Lamborghini. This is not simply based in some antipathy on the part of the German, British and Italian manufacturers toward the French market — though for a variety of historical and societal reasons that market may be more dominated by vehicles produced domestically than others. Rather, it is part of a larger trend in the industry. Last year, Mercedes-Benz announced that it would not be participating in the flagship North American International Auto Show in 2019 — and that it might not return. Other brands including Jaguar/Land Rover, Audi, Porsche, Mazda and nearly every exotic carmaker have also departed the Detroit show. Some of these brands will still appear in the city in which the show is taking place, and host an event offsite, to capitalize on the presence of a large number of reporters in attendance. And even brands that do have a presence at the show have shifted their vehicle introductions to the days before the official press opening in an attempt to stand out from the crowd. In many ways, this makes sense. With an expanding number of automakers, with diversification and niche-ification of models and with wholesale shifts that necessitate the introduction of EV or autonomous sub-brands, there is a growing sense that, with everyone shouting at the same time, no one can be heard.
Audi TT most likely to breed crossover derivative
Tue, 07 Oct 2014Audi has been rolling out successive concepts based on the new TT. Aside from the production coupe and convertible, we've seen the Shooting Brake concept in Detroit, the Offroad concept in Beijing and, most recently, the Sportback concept in Paris. The clear message is that Audi plans on actually producing more derivatives of its stylish two-door, but the question is which one will come first?
Speaking with Britain's Car magazine in Paris this past week, Audi technical chief Ulrich Hackenberg indicated that, while the decision has still yet to be made, the crossover is the most likely candidate.
Producing the TT Offroad concept - or something like it - would give Ingolstadt another addition to its growing crossover lineup that already includes the Q3, Q5 and Q7. Whether this would come in addition to or instead of the rumored Q1 and Q4 models remains to be seen, but crossovers have become increasingly popular and profitable for German automakers like Audi.
