2004 Audi Tt Quattro Base Coupe 2-door 3.2l on 2040-cars
Waterloo, Iowa, United States
2004 Audi TT S-Line Quattro.. 1 of approximately 1000 2004 year model with VR6 3.2 and Dual Clutch transmission in the United States. The best color combo...Dolamite Gray Pearl Effect with non-smoker Ebony interior. Arizona car prior to my purchase roughly two years ago. Excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape. Traction control which can be switched off if you choose, anti-lock brakes, steering wheel paddle shifters to shift the Dual Clutch 6 speed transmission in 8 milli-seconds...try that in an automatic or manual shift...can't be done. Exhaust system designed based on the Ferrari 599. Sounds awesome, relatively quite below 3000 RPM but barks when above and in the go peddle. Dual Clutch recently serviced, new front drive axles, new cooling fans, new battery and only Audi recommended synthetic oil type changed every 5000 miles...half the miles that Audi recommends. Tinted windows. Interior in excellent condition. Will not disappoint. Clear title. Buyer responsible for local pick up or shipping. Seller will not participate in shipping.
On Jan-25-14 at 17:50:13 PST, seller added the following information: Did I mention Rare? One of two VR6 Dual Clutch Dolamite Gray Pearl Effect/Ebony interior TT's for sale in the country. The other did not look near as nice and had many more miles. Interior pictures added. I did not add all of them to stay at 24. Interior in excellent shape. Carpet and carpet mats are like new as I always use heavy rubber mats that totally cover carpet. No check engine lights. Continental DWS all season tires are close to their life. All tires between 3 and 4/32nds. New owner can choose new tires per area that they live. Bose sound with 6 disk changer and single disk in head. |

2015 Audi A3
Wed, 15 Oct 2014What kind of watch do you wear?
Especially today, when wearing a wristwatch is practically obviated by the near-ubiquitous use of cellphones, the timepiece found on one's arm makes a statement about how people perceive themselves.
A sport watch from Nike or Garmin would seem to indicate enthusiasm for athletic pursuit. Inexpensive fashion statements from Nixon or Nooka could signify a love of high design. Splashing out on a true luxury timepiece from Rolex, Bell & Ross or Breitling serves as a sort of human plumage display to connote, "I have thousands of dollars - at least - of disposable income."
Audi-only rental car company expands
Thu, Jun 18 2015With the lines and occasional hassle, getting a rental car after a long flight can be daunting, even if you already have a reservation. Now, a company called Silvercar is trying to inject some luxury and modern, high-tech features into the process to make it less of a chore. The business recently expanded to O'Hare International Airport to offer visitors to Chicago a fleet exclusively comprised of silver Audi A4s. Silvercar is based in Austin, TX, and is being run by Luke Schneider, a former chief technology officer at ZipCar. He told Crain's Chicago Business that the rental industry "hasn't innovated in 30 to 40 years." Silvercar's big innovation is in the booking process. Like ordering practically anything today, it's all done through a smartphone app. Customers then scan a QR code on the Audi's windshield to get going. At the end of the rental, the bill is emailed to you. Prices start around $59 a day on weekends and $89 during the week, according to Crain's. Because they're all A4s with GPS and Wi-Fi, everyone gets the same car. In the world of ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft, rental cars might seem passe, but according to Crain's, the rental market at O'Hare alone amounts to over $300 million a year. Silvercar's location there isn't at the actual airport, though. Instead, a shuttle picks up customers to take them to the company's site nearby. The business is working on a national rollout to 10 airports by the end of June, including major locations like LAX and Denver. 2014 Audi SQ5
Thu, 03 Oct 2013No Diesel? No Problem
With the exception of a handful of markets (including the US), the Audi SQ5 was a pioneer for the company's S/RS performance line as it was the first model to wear the badge and also get diesel power. Our general "everything is better with a diesel" mentality was put to the test when we first heard we would be getting a non-diesel SQ5 in the US (despite the availability of the diesel-powered Q5 TDI here already), but as usual we can only blame our federal emissions standards. As Audi tells it, the SQ5 TDI engine would require AdBlue to meet US emissions regulations, and the packaging of such a system just wasn't possible, so the global SQ5's diesel engine was replaced by a gasoline-powered V6 borrowed from the Audi S4/S5. To show that little, if anything, was lost in translation from diesel to gas, we headed to southwestern Colorado to spend an afternoon with the all-new 2014 Audi SQ5.
Our drive program had us taking the SQ5 from Durango, CO to the city of Gateway, before heading to Grand Junction the next morning. There's nothing like spending five hours strapped into a seat, traversing hill and mountain, to truly test a vehicle's comfort and driving dynamics. From the first touch of the SQ5's push-button starter, we knew this was no ordinary Q5. As the engine came to life with a deep burble and raspy pops, and we spent the rest of the day trying to come to terms with the fact that not everything needs a diesel. Wait. What?!
