TIMING BELT & WATER PUMP DONE! Don't buy one of these without knowing when it was done, and seeing receipts! I don't drive this car enough to justify keeping it. Title in hand. 123,352 miles Timing belt, water pump, new battery, brake pads, tuneup, both thermostats, all done at 121,000 miles in January 2014, I have receipts in hand. I don't drive the car that much, hence the low miles. New all season tires, likely 85% - 90% tread left, see photo. Quattro AWD system Convertible 225 HP Disk Changer. Therefore special Bose Audio Package - Audio package: Bose premium sound system with four speakers in door, two 2-way rear speakers, center speaker in dashboard, and 4 channel 175 Watt amplifier, 6-disc CD changer Hid headlights. Therefore special Premium Package - Premium Package: 17 inch 5-spoke forged alloy wheels (225 quattro only), 225/45 17 all season tires, Xenon high intensity discharge headlights with automatic self leveling, heated front seats Leather (some cracking in seats, see picture) Audi rubber matching floor mats Audi license plate frame Amulet red touch up paint. Looks excellent for a 2001, but obviously some paint chips and road rash. NOBODY believes this car is a 2001 when they see it. When you drive it, you also won't believe it is a 2001. Great condition, runs STRONG. Everything works except for power mirrors, the button needs to be replace, it broke off. |

More details on next Audi A4 mooted, including PHEV
Wed, 21 Aug 2013With just under two more years until the next-gen Audi A4 hits the streets, it's not surprising that details are starting to leak out. The Brits from Autocar are reporting some information on the 2015 A4, although it isn't clear where any of it came from.
The most substantial news might be in regards to the plug-in hybrid version of the car. We've known for a couple years now that an A4 PHEV was being planned, but the report indicates that a trio of plug-in configurations are being planned, equipped with a 2.0-liter gas engine, a 2.0-liter diesel engine or a 3.0-liter supercharged V6. All engines will be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the A4 plug-in is said to have an all-electric range of up to 31 miles.
In terms of styling, the next A4 shouldn't stray too far away from Audi's current design language, but it will introduce a new version of the automaker's signature grille. Despite being about the same size as the existing A4, the fifth-generation model will drop some pounds thanks to various weight-saving techniques with the most obvious being aluminum body panels. Based on this info, we should see the A4 sedan and wagon in April 2015, an Allroad later in the year and a redesigned A5 lineup hitting the scene in 2016.

Audi S3 Cabriolet is a topless two-door temptress
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Now that we've driven the Audi S3, we're pretty eager for it go on sale in the United States. And while we won't get the Sportback version, there's a teeny tiny chance that Audi may grace us with this new Cabriolet version that makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this week.
That certainly wouldn't be a shame, considering the topless S3 packs the same 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque as the sedan, all of which comes from a turbocharged, 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine. That folding roof mechanism adds a bit of weight to the S3 package, and thus, reaching that ever-so-special 62 miles per hour takes an extra half a second - 5.4 compared to 4.9 with the S3 sedan.
Looks-wise, we dig the aggressive little S3, though the chrome wheels of the show car are kind of throwing us off. Swap out a set of standard alloys, and we'll be good to go. Have a look in the gallery above to see the topless Audi for yourself.
