All Wheel Drive , 360 Horse Power , Fun To Drive on 2040-cars
Coal Township, Pennsylvania, United States
You are looking at my 2002 Audi S-8 Quattra. It has the 4.2V-8 5 Valve engine that produces 360 horsepower. It has a Automatic 5 Speed transmission with the Tiptronic ®. It has the Premium package with heated rear seats, expandable Ski/Storage, power rest window sunshade and manual rear side window sunshades It has a cassette, CD player and has the navigation. This Audi comes with all the options made from the factory. I mistakenly put a navigation disc in the cd and it is now stuck in and must be taken apart to get it out. The CD player worked fine until I put the wrong disc in. The radio works great. Books and the Navigation discs come with the car. These cars are all aluminum so they are light and very fast. I bought this car off of Ebay to give to my 16 year old daughter but after she had it two days she got a speeding ticket, so I decided that it is just too fast for her to be driving and I bought her a Buick Century. It is All Wheel Drive , has the shifting switches in the steering wheel, has 245/45/r18 Continental like new tires, and over all is a beautiful car. The only noted problems are that the right side headlight molding is missing (I see them on ebay between $25 and $50. dollars), the right side lower plastic fog lamp cover is missing but hardly noticeable, and the rubber molding that is on the bottom of the right side from door is also missing but again hardly noticeable (that molding was on ebay for $45.00). There are two very light scratches on the hood again not that noticeable. The car is newly inspected and runs and shifts perfectly. The air conditioning blows ice cold. I have the original window sticker and the price was $80,325, so for a fraction of money you can own a beautiful Audi that drives like it is still new. Overall this is a beautiful car and I hate to see it go , but my daughter just cannot handle it. The car is located in Coal Township, Pa 17866. There is a $200 deposit that is required with 24 hours of the winning bid. The car is being sold AS-IS. The buyer is responsible for any shipping costs and transfer costs. If you have any questions , please feel free to email me.

Audi inaugurates new R8 production line at Neckarsulm
Sat, 18 Oct 2014Of all the factories which the Volkswagen Group operates around the world, the Audi plant in Neckarsulm may not be the very largest, but it is among the most diversified. That's where Audi builds versions of the A4, A5, A6, A8 and Q7 lines. It's also been home to the R8, but now the German automaker has moved supercar production to a new facility just a few miles down the road.
Back in August, Audi stopped production of the R8 at its main Neckarsulm site and moved it to the new Böllinger Höfe site in Heilbronn, restarting production just three weeks later. The new assembly line brings together various workshops that had been scattered about the Neckarsulm complex under one roof, and will surely make production of the next-generation R8 that much smoother.
The Böllinger Höfe facility is about a quarter the size of the main Neckarsulm plant, and will also house a small-scale production line - similar, we gather, to what Audi subsidiary Lamborghini recently built in Sant'Agata Bolognese - and a massive, state-of-the-art logistics center with capable of handling 4,500 containers each day.
Audi Q7 testing gives us clearer view of new look
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Audi just announced its intentions to build the Q1 in 2016. By that time, the company will already have introduced the opposing bookend to that subcompact utility vehicle, the fullsize Q7. The last time we saw the next-gen Audi Q7 out testing, our spy shots were very low quality and didn't reveal much about the luxury SUV. This time around we're able to make out a few key elements about the Q7.
For starters, the unfinished headlights have a stylish, wave-like lighting element with a three-dimensional appearance, while the rear of the Q7 will definitely get a similar wraparound liftgate as the current model. Overall, this prototype looks to be about the same size as the existing Q7, so it will be interesting to see how Audi squeezes almost 800 pounds from the SUV's curb weight. The diet will surely help improve efficiency, and we also hear that Audi is considering a plug-in hybrid model in addition to the standard gas and diesel variants.
Riding on a shared platform with the next-gen Volkswagen Touareg, Porsche Cayenne and the upcoming Bentley Falcon SUV, the next Audi Q7 is expected to bow in late 2014 for the 2015 model year.
Audi Allroad Shooting Brake is a TT peep show
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
What you're looking at here is the almost-here third-generation Audi TT. Just compress the suspension a bit to take away its Allroad pretensions and rake its backlight to align better with the previous generation's aesthetic, and you're pretty well there. What you're looking at officially, of course, is the Audi Allroad Shooting Brake, a four-seat E-Tron hybrid showcar powered by Audi's venerable 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder (good for 292 horsepower) backed by a 40-kW electric motor and a secondary 85-kW motor acting upon the rear axle to provide low- and moderate-speed drive. The latter also provides through-the-road Quattro all-wheel drive when extra traction and power is called for.
All-in, Audi says the Allroad Shooting Brake's ETron powertrain is good for 408 horsepower and total system torque of 479 pound-feet, enough to haul the 3,500-pound German to 62 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds and up to a governed 155 mph. Despite that tidy performance, Audi says the Allroad Shooting Brake offers robust fuel consumption of 1.9 liters per 100k, equivalent to 124 miles per gallon, with a bladder-busting range of 510 miles.
