I do not even know where to start ! My Father bought this car NEW 2/17/95 and he was in Real Estate So he used this for Going to the Office and had a Chevy Blazer to go to the Jobs so this car Never saw winters or even rain because he would drive the Blazer on those days I was always the Tuner in the Famliy. So I pulled the computer out when the car had 1000 miles on it and sent it to Intended Acceleration for the 300 H.P. chip $ 850.00 and installed it back in and Never have had a Problem !!! So my father drove this car till 1998 and parked it in the garage with around 79000 miles on it.So sense 1998 till 2007 he put on 21000 more miles then passed away in 2008 and I inhered it and put on 5000 miles in the last 4 years then gave it to my Daughter for a Graduation Present in 2011 as a car to drive on Nice Days and she put on 2000 miles and dose not want to drive it anymore because she is scared that something will happen to it weather a Door Ding ,Accident,Pot Holes Etc and has moved and dose not have a garage to put it in so it is back in my garage and we agree it is maybe time to sell it to get a practical newer car for her.So Now for the Details Has NEVER Been in a Accident !!! Always garaged over the years I would change the wheels to get a different look and sent it out in 2001 and had the bigger injectors, intake, header, high flow cats BOGE Struts and Eibach Springs and Kami Grille Kami spliter, side rockers front lower valance and rear valance and very rare rear window shade at $ 6500.00 and always tinkering and cleaning it over the Years in 2010 I converted the exhausts to a 2001 S8 Duals was NOT easy job I had to take out the spare tire tub fabricate a new floor for the trunk out of alum to keep it Light and have it Bonded in for it to be rigid then re-work the Zender rear Valnce spent about $ 2500.00 then I bought another set of wheels and Rims that were Chrome Did not like them so had them painted Black that are on the Car now Plus another set of wheels for Audi Club day when I took it around Limerock Track with the Club a LOT of Fun those wheels go with car also oh yea I had a lower custom made front spoiler made of fiberglass and carbon fiber at a cost of $ 2400 it is a 1 off only 1 ever made I leave it off so my Daughter did not forget about pulling up to curbs easy'er to leave it off these are in the icture with all the paper work Original Title Most of the receipt's, Books, Key's Etc...I can go on and on only paint work was 5 years ago my buddy convince me to paint the front fenders because they had a lot of small stone chips because the flares stick out so I let him paint the fenders and they are a shade off in the right light you can see it but I do not trust anyone to blend any better ! also front and rear bumpers from stone chips but hood and all other panels are Original Paint and Show worthy.Interior is in Great shape everything works all leather is in Great Shape still have original Carpet floor mats ! There's just to much more to say Look at the Pictures read up about this car They Only Imported S6's in 1995 and Read any article about this Car and it will say this was the BEST AUDI Ever Made ! This was the last year before AUDI added a bunch more computers which have been nothing but problems for them ever sense just ask anyone with a Newer AUDI about Problems they are having ! So Good Luck Bidding Car is being Sold AS IS please do not Bid unless you have 5+ Feedback or you will be deleted unless you email me first if you are serious you can call me Sean 860-424-1818 I am 20 minutes outside of Hartford CT in Tolland CT 06084 car is also for sale locally so reserve the right to end early I have 100% feedback so Bid with Confidence.....

The skinny on Delphi's autonomous road trip across the United States [w/videos]
Wed, Apr 8 2015Rolling out of an S-shaped curve along Interstate 95, just past Philadelphia International Airport, the final obstacle between the autonomous car and its place in history appeared on the horizon. So far, the ordinary-looking SUV had traversed the United States without incident. It had gone through tunnels and under overpasses. It circled roundabouts and stopped for traffic lights. Now, on the last day of a scheduled nine-day journey, it was poised to become the first autonomous car ever to complete a coast-to-coast road trip. First, it needed to contend with the Girard Point Bridge. Riding in a rear seat, "I saw that bridge coming, and I thought, 'Oh my gosh, this is going to be a grab-the-wheel moment," said Kathy Winter, vice president of software at Delphi Automotive. The car, an unassuming Audi SQ5 nicknamed Roadrunner, had been well-tested. Back in January, a few inebriated pedestrians fell flat in front of the car during a demonstration in Las Vegas. It was the quintessential worst-case scenario, and the car admirably hit the brakes. More than drunken louts, bridges present a sophisticated challenge for the six radar sensors that feed data to the car's internal processors. Instead of sensing solid objects, radar sensors can read the alternating bursts of steel beams and empty space as conflicting information. "They're a radar engineer's worst nightmare," said Jeff Owens, Delphi's chief technology officer. Girard Point Bridge, a blue skeleton of girded steel that spans the Schuylkill River, might be a bigger challenge than most. Traveling across the lower level of its double decks, the autonomous car's radar sensors had to discern between two full sets of trusses. Cross the Schuylkill, and Delphi's engineers felt confident they'd reach their destination: the New York Auto Show. For now, the sternest test of the trip lay directly in front of them. A Data-Mining Adventure Until that point, the toughest part of the journey had been finding an open gas station in El Paso, TX. Trust in the technology had already been established. The main reason Delphi set out on the cross-country venture with a team of six certified drivers and two support vehicles was to capture reams of data. What better way to do that than dusting off the classic American road trip and dragging it into the 21st century? They did exactly that, capturing three terabytes worth of data across 3,400 miles and 15 states.
Audi reveals virtual reality 'dealership in a briefcase'
Mon, Jan 19 2015Virtual reality still seems like technology that should be lumped in with the flying car and colonizing the moon as the sort of perennially "almost-here" Next Big Thing that never quite arrives. However, devices like gaming's Oculus Rift suggests that it's too soon to write off VR just yet, and Audi apparently agrees. The heart of its new VR Experience is a headset that customers wear that lets them see a virtual car before their eyes. Using the technology, the potential buyer can sit behind the wheel or open up the trunk. A camera tracks their head movements and adjusts the image on the goggles accordingly. To make the whole experience even more immersive, headphones let them hear the sound of the door or listen to the radio. The German automaker claims that the VR Experience technology will be available in "dynamic growth markets" by the end of 2015. The system will essentially offer the entire dealership experience in a device the size of a briefcase, and it'll be possible to view every possible equipment combination and color on all of the brand's models. The immersive hardware sounds amazing, if it's as good as the automaker claims. Among other things, VR will allow buyers to pick out just the right color and trim, even if the dealer doesn't have that specific combo in stock. Read below for Audi's announcement of this sci-fi gadget that the company claims is on the way. Audi VR experience: the dealership in a briefcase Innovative virtual reality headset extends advisory service at Audi dealers Sales chief Luca de Meo: "Further proof of Audi's pioneering role in sphere of digitization" First Audi dealerships to introduce new sales tool by end of 2015 Audi is taking the next big step in integrating digital technologies into automotive retail: The Audi VR experience gives customers the opportunity to configure their preferred car at the dealership through virtual reality headsets and experience it in a unprecedentedly realistic way. The headset showcases the entire model portfolio of the four rings, including all possible equipment combinations. Audi has become the first automotive manufacturer to develop a dedicated retail software solution for virtual reality headsets.
Audi on Demand pilot program launches in San Francisco
Fri, May 1 2015Customers eager to drive a new Audi but unwilling or unable to plunk down the purchase price for one will be intrigued by the launch of the new Audi on Demand program. Initially being rolled out in San Francisco, Audi on Demand is based around an iPhone app that allows clients to order up a new Audi of their choosing on a day-by-day basis for up to 28 days in a row. Order an Audi through the app and a "personal concierge" will deliver the car anywhere in the city – curbside, driveway, parking lot, office building... pretty much anywhere the customer chooses. The concierge will even help set up the audio and navigation systems to the customer's preferences. And if the customer isn't there to receive the vehicle in person, he or she can simply unlock it through the app, start it up and drive off. The service is being made available on a broad range of Audi models, from the A4 all the way up to the R8. Customers can even specify a child seat or (on an Allroad or Q5) a ski or bike rack, and are guaranteed that the vehicle they select will be the one they get, right down to the color and trim. Though being launched at first only in San Francisco, Audi says it will roll out the program in other American cities "in the coming years." In announcing the program, Audi also revealed that it's planning to launch Audi at Home as well, a "micro-sharing" service that will allow residents of select condo complexes to share a fleet of Audis as well. These, of course, are just the latest smartphone-enabled conveniences being introduced by the German automaker, following its collaboration with Amazon and DHL for in-trunk delivery.
