2009 Audi S5 Quatro prestige, This car was super hard to find in the color combo with options!! Its Ibis white on magma Red Leather, and its the 6speed manual transmission. Took me months to find this car. Some options are: It has a powerful 4.2 Liter V8 which produces 354hp mated to a 6 Speed Manual Transmission with traction control and Audi's famoud Quatro AWD system.  Clutch/Flywheel were replaced by Audi at 48K($3000+). Features include the MMI Navigation package with integrated DVD player and backup camera, Prestige package with Keyless Entry and Push Button Ignition, Bang and Oulfsen 500 Watt sound system with 6 disc CD/MP3 player, Audi Side Assist (Lights in the mirror illuminate when there is a car in your blind spot), High Intensity Xenon (HID) Adaptive Headlights, TriZone Climate Control and 8 Way Power Heated Seats With Memory, iPod Interface, Bluetooth, Radio/Telephone Steering Wheel Controls, and many more. Also, have upgraded the complete exhaust: Consisting of AWE non- resonated down pipes and Milltek non- resonated exhaust. Suspension has the H& R OEM sport springs lowers 1" all around. Also, has the Rieger front lip spoiler- this was $1000 installed. RS5 Black optic Grille ($1000) Car sounds crazy under full throttle!! I get compliments from people with Corvette's and mustangs all the time on how nice the car sounds. New Continental Tires on freshly painted 19" Wheels painted in Ibis white to match car. I have invested well over $4500 just in exhaust/suspension/ grille upgrades. Car is ready to go and needs absolutly nothing!! Only considering selling because I could use the extra money toward a new business venture I am investing into.  Look around I promise you wont find one like this around. I will consider putting the stock exhaust system on it and lowering the price $1,000.  I have all stock parts to go with the car!!! Everything has less than 4,000 miles of use on it. I have receipts for everything I have done to it.  55K mile service was done consisting of oil change, K&N high flow air filter, Brand new spark plugs, and fuel system clean. All fluids were checked out and all major components were looked at.  You can email me at crxsir21@aol.com with any questions.  There is a lien on the vehicle but the bank is local and title could be obtained probably in one day.

Audi R8 V10 Plus takes on Ducati Diavel in straight line

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

The classic car-versus-motorcycle comparison is put to the test as Autocar pits a 2013 Audi R8 V10 against the Ducati Diavel in a run from 0-150-0 miles per hour. While you might expect the 162-horsepower Ducati weighing just 515 pounds to blow away the 542-horse, 3,500-pound Audi, this particular test measures the acceleration and braking of both high-performance machines.
Drag racing an Audi R8 against a Ducati on a long, flat stretch of concrete sounds fun to us, and Autocar documented the whole test for our viewing pleasure. We don't want to spoil the fun for you, so let's just say that a Volkswagen-owned brand wins. Scroll down to watch the video for yourself.

Porsche would have entered F1 if Audi had blocked its Le Mans program

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Go back a few years and you may have heard rumors of Porsche heading into Formula One. That never came to pass - or at least, it hasn't yet - but that doesn't mean that it wasn't close to happening. That's how committed to returning to top-level motorsport competition Porsche has become recently.
Autosport reports that just as Porsche was merging fully into the Volkswagen Group, Zuffenhausen was weighing its options for a factory racing program. Le Mans was its favorite, which makes sense, as it remains far and away the most successful constructor in the history of the famous endurance race. But the strategists at Porsche were worried that its new corporate overlords at Volkswagen wouldn't support two LMP1 programs and would favor Audi, which has positively dominated the modern era of endurance racing, coming second only to Porsche in the number of Le Mans victories it has scored to date.
Porsche's Plan B was reportedly to head into Formula One, although it isn't clear if the German automaker was intent on starting its own team, buying an existing one or merely providing engines to other teams. Porsche fielded its own cars in F1 in the late 1950s and early 60s, and returned as an engine supplier with TAG to power McLaren in the 1980s, powering Niki Lauda and Alain Prost to the World Championship in 1984 and 1985.

Woman wins Audi R8 Spyder on The Price Is Right, goes bananas

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Of course, we love to tune into The Price Is Right to see average Americans spin the big wheel, play a round of Plinko or Cliff Hangers, and participate in the gladiatorial Showcase Showdown. But there is one reason, and one reason alone that the daytime game show has captivated us since its inception in 1972... 'A new car!!!'
Back in November, the show held a Dream Car Week that saw contestants get the chance to win whips like a Porsche 911 and a BMW 6 Series, amongst others. It must have been pretty successful, as the PIR team is back at it, this time giving away an Audi R8 Spyder with a sticker price of $157,300. That makes it the single most-expensive item given away in the show's history.
The R8's new owner, Sheree Heil, may not fit the image of a typical R8 driver - we anticipate she'll learn which side of the car to drive on after the show is over - but she is clearly tickled pink with her big win. Check out the insanity below.
