2012 Audi S4 Prestige - One-of-a-kind on 2040-cars
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
A truly one-of-a kind Audi S4 sports sedan in an Audi custom paint; PAPAYA ORANGE (non-metallic). I believe it's the ONLY ONE of its kind. Draws stares and question everywhere. You probably already know the car or you wouldn't be here looking. A WORLD CLASS sports sedan with 7 speed Tiptronic transmission (paddle shifters). Prestige Package (navigation, rearview Camera, multi-media stereo, bluetooth & more,,,,). Titanium Package (wheels, blackout grille and blackout door/window trim), and heated seats. Also has the Sports Differential. NO Nappa leather - it has the stock "suede" leather seats. Approximately 65% highway mileage including 3.5 round trips from Florida to NYC. (The .5 was the original trip to SoFla after purchase from New Jersey) No issues. Driven all its life by a 60+ year old male. Never "launched" (I believe an Audi dealer can check the onboard computer and confirm this), never raced, abused, smoked in or in an accident. Everything works perfectly. Very slight curb rash on 2 wheels. Sticker just over $61K but added on to that was the "Audi Care" package (55K miles of Pre-Paid regular maintenance) for a total of just about $62K. Serviced by Audi dealers according the car's computer. Clean Carfax. Audi Care for free scheduled service up to and including its 55K service. Still has OVER 2 years (late Jan, 2016) and almost 24,000 miles on the factory bumper-to-bumper warranty for peace of mind for you, the next owner. Any questions, shoot me an e-mail. Winning bidder MUST be prepared to complete the deal ASAP as I am buying a house and am under some time pressure to get the deal done. Happy Holidays. |

Honda, Audi sweep European tin-top championships
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Despite his win at the Japanese Grand Prix this weekend, Sebastian Vettel still has another race or two to go before he can claim his fourth consecutive World Championship in Formula 1. Back in Europe, however, this weekend saw several championship titles decided in a variety of tin-top racing series.
In the British Touring Car Championship, Gordon Shedden won the final round at Brands Hatch this weekend, but that wasn't enough to defend his title. Instead, the ultimate glory went to Andrew Jordan, also driving a Honda Civic, coming in ninth place to take a seven-point victory over Shedden in the final standings. Little wonder then that Honda took the constructors' championship and the Honda Yuasa Racing team took the teams' title. Four-time BTCC champion and Fifth Gear co-host Jason Plato, now driving for MG, landed third in the standings.
While Honda dominated the British championship, it was Audi that reigned supreme in mainland Europe. In the Superstars International Series - Italy's touring-car championship - Gianni Morbidelli drove the Audi RS5 to his fifth title, finishing the season's final race in a calculated third place behind the BMW racecars of Giovanni Berton and Max Mugelli. It's the second consecutive win for the RS5 in the Superstars series (Johan Kristoffersson won the title last year), and the second this year following Mike Rockenfeller's title in the RS5 DTM.
Audi reveals updated RS7 Sportback in Europe
Mon, 02 Jun 2014It was just a couple of weeks ago that Audi revealed a few mild updates to its A7. It even ported those changes over to the warmed-up S7 performance version. All that was missing was the full-steam RS7, and that's precisely what we have here.
Now before you get all excited, note that the new RS7 packs the same powertrain as the model it succeeds, but then again, the existing RS7 hardly lacked in the power department. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 still churns out 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, transmitted to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic. Revealed initially for the European market (with US details presumably to follow), the 0-62 kilometers per hour time is quoted at 3.9 seconds, so the 0-60 mph time ought to match the 3.7 seconds of the preceding model.
What has changed are the subtle tweaks Audi has made to the exterior and equipment upgrades inside. The grille now features has a horizontal section at the bottom with the Quattro logo emblazoned across like all other recently revised RS models, flanked by new headlights (Matrix LED units for the European market). Inside the cabin the air-con vents and shift paddles have been reshaped, and the new MMI system ports over from the new A7 and S7 with 4G LTE connectivity and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Audi reveals driver lineup and livery for Rolex 24 at Daytona
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Audi has announced driver lineups for its customer teams running the R8 LMS GTD in this year's Rolex 24 at Daytona. The Rolex 24 is the first event for the inaugural season of the new United SportsCar Championship series, which merges the old Grand-Am Series with the American Le Mans Series. The new series kicks off January 25.
Flying Lizard Motorsports, which has traditionally been known for repping the Porsche 911, will campaign a pair of R8 coupes, while GMG Racing, Paul Miller Racing and Fall-Line Motorsports will run one car each. A number of drivers on each team are Audi Sport factory drivers, hot shoes like Oliver Jarvis for Fall-Line and Filipe Albuquerque and Dion von Moltke for Flying Lizard, while there are also a few Audi Sport customer drivers.
"We have a fantastic group of racing partners and drivers this season and look forward to defending last year's Daytona win," said president of Audi of America, Scott Keogh. "The successes of the R8 in endurance racing are a testament to the engineering found in every Audi on the road today."
