2012 Audi S4 Apr Stage Ii on 2040-cars
Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
One owner 2012 Audi S4 Prestige with 7 speed Auto S Tronic transmission. Original MSRP of $58,500.
I had the car professionally detailed 2x per year and take great pride in the care and maintenance of all my vehicles. At 2,000 miles I had an APR authorized dealer install the Stage II APR upgrade (details at http://www.goapr.com/products/pulley_30tfsi.html). The upgrade ($3,000) enhances an already amazing car.
I am absolutely happy to coordinate an inspection at the dealer of your choice in Cincinnati or I can connect you with the shop that maintained this S4 since new. Options include full Black/Magma Red Silk Napa leather interior, Bang & Olufsen sound system (it is truly spectacular), MMI Navigation Plus, 19" wheels, stainless steel inlays, backup camera, heated seats, and much more! Adult owned and meticulously maintained. Never in an accident and always garage kept. Interior and exterior is in amazing condition. It will not disappoint the most picky of buyers (no curb rash that is typically found on the 19" rims). Called one of the best performance sedans ever by Car and Driver in its April 2014 issue. |

Did the new Audi R8 just get outed on Instagram?
Sat, Feb 7 2015While we can't confirm it officially, what you're looking at above, according to Instagram user dreboog (Dre Boogie), may indeed be the next Audi R8. We're expecting Audi's revised supercar to get its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which would makes the timing of this leak make sense. You can compare this image with the spy shots we've already seen and draw your own conclusions, but it looks about right to our eyes. There are a few interesting tidbits worth noting, the most immediately obvious being the lack of the so-called side blades that were a polarizing styling element with the first Audi R8 first hit the scene but which have since become part of the coupe's signature look. We also see a front fascia that brings the low-slung coupe more in line with the German brand's current design ethos. Besides those readily apparent cues, there's not much to glean from this Instagram leak. We'd certainly expect more power from Audi's halo car, but just how much more than the 430 horsepower offered by the current V8, 525 hp from the V10 or 550 hp from the V10 Plus, we look forward to finding out. In the meantime, feel free to let us know what you think in the Comments. Is the Audi R8 E-Tron project back on again?
Thu, 11 Apr 2013If you ask Audi about its R8 E-Tron prototype, the all-electric two-seater that was first shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the automaker will tell you that its development program is on hold. Yet, as we reported in January, limited production of the combustion-free coupe may be moving forward... information still officially unconfirmed by the automaker.
New images of the electrified R8 undergoing winter testing in Europe have emerged (above and in our gallery), and the car has been spotted running in Spain as well. Both sightings support reports that the E-Tron, with its 150-mile battery range and 8:09 Nürburgring time, may be back in business. Does the program have a green light, or is Audi merely trying to take some of the thunder from the BMW i8?
Whatever the case, if the R8 E-Tron does eventually make it into showrooms - and we are now led to believe it will - expect production volume to be very low. Assuming it doesn't get shelved again, of course.
Will Audi surprise us with an all-electric SUV?
Sun, Jun 22 2014Audi may be looking to get seriously competitive in the electric vehicle market, according to a report from Reuters. The company has plans prepared for a range of EVs that would compete with the likes of BMW and Tesla. In a market where innovation is seen as valuable, getting on board with electrification could help Audi avoid appearing out of step with the rest of the crowd (and the market), with analysts predicting a sharp uptick in battery-powered cars in the next several years. Building on the E-Tron line, which already includes the A3 E-Tron, Audi will begin offering an electric version of its R8 supercar in Europe next year. According to two confidential sources at Audi, the company also has plans for high-performance electric sedans and SUVs. It appears as though Audi is taking direct aim at Tesla with alternatives to the current Model S and the upcoming Model X SUV. Advantage: Audi? Without getting into too many specifics about such plans, the sources did confirm the existence of blueprints for an Audi Q8 E-Tron. Audi has said that any future electric cars would have a target range of 400 kilometers (about 249 miles), but previous reports suggest that the Q8 E-Tron could have a range of about 370 miles. That could be a serious challenge for Tesla. Advantage: Audi? All the German automakers have electric tricks up their sleeves. BMW has its i line, with the i3 making headway and the i8 expected to sell well. Mercedes-Benz has gotten into the game the B-Class Electric Drive. Also, its parent company Daimler has a stake in Tesla. Now, Audi appears poised to launch its own diverse electric fleet, and the next move might just be an SUV. And while this added competition might seem like tough news for Tesla, the proliferation of EVs, and the growing infrastructure that goes along with it, is more likely a tide that raises all (electric) ships - something that Elon Musk seems to understand very well.
