2010 Audi S4 Brilliant Black/Black/tuscan brown insert interior.   One owner since new. I am selling the car for  a friend who is the original owner. He has just purchased a new S4. Have all service records since day one, always serviced by original dealer Town Audi Motor Car Corp in Englewood NJ.  Have all manuals, window sticker and extra keys. Car was meticulously maintained and the service records prove it. Body is excellent with a couple very small dings on the right side that are too small to bother fixing. Interior is in amazing condition and looks fantastic with no discernible wear on the door panels, seats or console.  No one ever sat in the back seats. The two tone interior is very handsome looking . Michelin Pilot Sport 18" tires with about 60% or more life left in them and no road rash on any of the wheels. Car also has Navigation, heated seats, special sports rear differential, rear camera and parking sensors, sunroof, silk Nappa leather seats, and Bang Olufson premium sound package that boosted the original MSRP to $53,575.00

Car drives tight as a drum with no squeaks or rattles and in no way reflects the actual mileage it has. Yes, I know, it has alot of miles, that's true. Once you decide to come to West Orange NJ to drive it you will believe it has been a thoroughly well taken care of and well maintained vehicle. It is fast as a little bullet and the engine purrs like a kitten. it just hauls itself with alacrity gear by gear on the highway and all of a sudden you are doing triple digit speeds without knowing it. I think Audi seriously underrated the output of this powerplant or that this car is just a particularly well performing one.

This car commuted daily from Fort Lee to Princeton NJ, so yes, it accumulated alot of  highway only miles in the process. That explains the mileage and why you will be getting a fantastic deal on it. This is not a mechanic's fixer upper vehicle. It looks and runs great and has lots more life left in her. The car needs nothing mechanically and aside from the 2 small dings, nothing cosmetically. Feel free to bring it to a local Audi dealer here for an inspection if you are willing to bear the inspection fee.

Now the downside: Very unfortunately it was rear ended very early in its life and has a spotty Carfax because of it. It was expertly repaired by Exotic Auto Body in Bloomfield NJ and is not in any way compromised in the least. It was, however, hit in the rear and a quarter panel was replaced. Then it was tapped a second time in the rear and just needed a new bumper pad. I will not misrepresent the vehicle and have every confidence that when you decide to look her over personally, you will agree with everything I've said here describing the car to you. I pride myself as an EBayer with integrity and my perfect record reflects that ethic.

This is a car that a value buyer will see as a perfect chance to acquire a modern S4 for a daily driver that looks and runs great, but costs a great deal less than the $35k to $38K retail these cars are selling for at other places.

These are your top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012

Mon, Jan 7 2013

Despite 2012 being the best year of auto sales this country has seen since 2007, not every vehicle got an equally large share of the sales pie. Some barely got a sliver, as evidenced by this year's list of the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. We've dug through sales data from every automaker to come up with this year's list and, like last year, we've set some parameters to ensure it includes legitimately bad-selling vehicles. The first parameter is a starting MSRP under $100,000, which automatically excludes what's parked in most one-percenters' garages. We're also excluding vehicles cancelled in 2012, even if they garnered sales through the end of the year while dealerships sold off remaining inventory. This includes models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and last year's worst-seller, the Acura RL. Next, vehicles are considered as they are reported by the automaker, which means that, while sales of the Murano CrossCabriolet were probably low enough to make the list, because Nissan reports only one number for all Murano sales, it was excluded. Cadillac, however, reports sales of the Escalade EXT separately from the Escalade, hence its repeat appearance. Finally, there was the question of whether or not eligibility should be given to Suzuki vehicles, as the brand announced in November that it would end sales in the US as soon as its current inventory ran out. We decided Suzuki vehicles should be included as the brand was offering 2013 models at the time of the announcement, and as far as we can tell, inventory levels remained high enough to satisfy demand through the end of the year. Without further ado, below are the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles of 2012 10. Volvo C30 MSRP: $25,500 Units Sold: 2,827 Last Year: – 9. Audi imagines a world where mechanics are zombies

Mon, Mar 2 2015

Warewolves, vampires, lab-created monsters... they've all come and gone from the silver screen, but the latest trend in apocalyptic popular media centers around zombies. And that's the theme Audi has tapped for its latest ad. The television commercial is called "Mechanics," and as you may have guessed by now, they're the zombies the German automaker is depicting. The spot was created to encourage Audi owners (like the one in this A5) to have their vehicles serviced at authorized dealers rather than taking them to independent garages that may not be after your brains, but might like a crack at your pocket book, at least (as if dealerships aren't). The commercial was created for Audi by Thjnk Berlin GmbH and directed by Sebastian Strasser for RadicalMedia, and is worth a watch for the laugh alone. Related Video:

Ford GT dominates Le Mans qualifying, gets slapped with performance adjustment

Fri, Jun 17 2016

Fifty years after Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon drove the Ford GT40 to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ford is poised for a historic return to the Circuit de la Sarthe. The new Ford GT took the top two qualifying positions in the LMGTE Pro class, and four of the top five. Ferrari's 488 filled in the rest of the spots in the top seven, the first two from AF Corse. In other words, we're primed for a reboot of the classic Ford-Ferrari feud at this year's race. Or not, as the ACO, which organizes the 24 Hours of Le Mans, announced sweeping pre-race Balance of Performance (BOP) adjustments this morning that make this year's GT class anybody's race. In LMP1, last year's overall winner Porsche locked up the top two spots with the 919 Hybrid and will lead the entire field at race start. Toyota's two-car factory effort followed with qualifying times 1.004 and 2.170 seconds behind the pole lap. Audi rounds out the manufacturer-backed LMP1 class in fifth and sixth. Full qualifying results can be found here. The storyline for the GT cars is perfect - some say too perfect. Ford's class-leading times came after BOP adjustment to the Corvette Racing C7.R before qualifying. BOP is intended to level the playing field in the class by adjusting power, ballast, and fuel capacity. (Check out this explainer video for more, or even just if you love French accents.) But the process is riddled with unknowns and ripe for accusations of sandbagging. That is, if the Ford cars were intentionally slow in practice they could hope for BOP adjustment to improve their race chances. On the Corvette side, last year's GTE Pro winner went from the top of the field to the bottom, barely improving from practice to qualifying. If you think Le Mans is as rigged at the NBA Playoffs, well, it's not that simple. Because if Ford and Ferrari held back until qualifying - the eighth-place Porsche 911 RSR is three-and-a-half seconds off the class pole time - it was a pretty dumb strategy. This morning, the ACO tried to put things back in order by limiting the boost in the Ford GT's twin-turbo V6 and adding 11 pounds of ballast. Ferrari was also given extra weight but allowed more fuel capacity. The Corvette and Aston Martin teams were both given breaks on their air restrictors, which will allow their engines to make more power. Both Ford and Porsche also received extra fuel capacity.
