2010 - Audi S4 on 2040-cars
Windham, Connecticut, United States

Very well optioned 2010 Audi S4 Premium Plus 6 speed manual with Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) warranty through June 2016 or 100k miles. Current mileage is 55,461. The car is immaculate and was just fully detailed. I also just performed the 55k tune-up service at a cost of 840 and the car received a clean bill of health. Tires are only 10 months old (Bridgestone Potenza A/S) and have plenty of life left. The only modifications made to the vehicle were tinted windows and the pictured AWE exhaust which will be removed prior to sale (will be listing separately). Also included is a fully installed front and rear radar/laser detection system (Passport SRX). This car is very well equipped and options include: Phantom black pearl paint Black/Magma Red Fine Nappa leather interior MMI (navigation system) with rearview camera, Bluetooth, iPod integration, & SiriusXM with live traffic Audi Drive Select (alters steering, throttle response, suspension damping, differential settings) Sport differential Bang + Olufsen sound system Carbon Atlas interior trim package This is a phenomenal driver's car. I adore the vehicle but it is a third car and I'm scaling back on the toys for a bit. This is also a relatively rare vehicle.

Audi RS6 Avant vs. Vauxhall VXR8 Supercharged in wagon battle
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The performance station wagon is the mature person's muscle car. As we get older, it's natural to add things like spouses, kids and dogs to our lives and each one necessitates a little more space. That doesn't mean we want to give up spirited driving though, and a quick five-door offers a great balance between needs and wants. In the latest video from Evo, we take a look at two, muscular European estates to see which is faster around a track.
Richard Meaden pits the Audi RS6 Avant and Vauxhall VXR8 Supercharged against each other; seeing that the cars go about utilizing their massive performance in very different ways. The RS6's all-wheel drive and luxury interior make it more of a scalpel around the track compared to the Vauxhall's rear-wheel drive hammer. Both offer the driver the chance to create some very smoky powerslides, though. Sadly, neither of these muscle wagons are available in North America, but scroll down to get a taste of them in the video.
Audi reveals special A5 DTM Champion edition
Fri, 18 Oct 2013For this year's DTM touring car championship in Germany, Audi switched (at least in appearance) from the A5 to the more muscular look of the RS5. But now that it's won the title (the driver's title anyway), it's the base A5 that's getting the celebratory treatment.
Limited to just 300 units, the new A5 DTM Champion edition honors its winning driver Mike Rockenfeller in similar fashion to the special-edition BMW M3 that paid tribute to last year's champion, Bruno Spengler. It comes with a rear spoiler, special 20-inch alloys, aluminum trim on the mirror caps and, of course, a smattering of special badges inside and out.
Buyers will be able to place their orders next week in red, white or grey, with any of four engine choices, at a €1,900 premium. That is, in Europe, anyway. Given that DTM hasn't picked up on this side of the Atlantic just yet, we wouldn't go looking for this model at our local Audi dealer Stateside.
Audi A6 gets styling, powertrain tweaks
Thu, 04 Sep 2014The Audi A6 is already a fairly handsome, German luxury sedan, but the whole range is receiving some styling updates in Europe this fall. Audi's US arm would not directly confirm which of these updates will be coming to America, instead just telling us that an updated A6 will be coming next year.
On the outside, the tweaks are fairly minor. The company's single-frame grille, which shows up throughout the model lineup, gets some very subtle styling changes, and the lower bumper and its air intakes are also reshaped. More obviously, the headlights have a new form with the LED running lights cutting through them in roughly the shape of a T, as opposed to outlining them, as before. A similar shape is also used for the updated taillights, and there are now rectangular exhaust outlets around back, as well. In profile, the side sills also get a harder crease toward the rear of the sedan.
Inside, things are kept generally the same, as well. There's a new Flint Gray interior color for the A6 and Salsa Red for the S6. But the biggest change is a power-retracting eight-inch infotainment system using the Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. The optional night vision assist system is also improved with new functions, according to Audi.
