The Audi S4 is a modified version of the A4. It has subtle sportier styling, increased engine power, and a performance tuned suspension. All Audi S4 models come with a 4.2-liter V8 engine that generates 340 hp. This allows the S4 to jump to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds with the standard six-speed manual transmission. There is also a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission that allows manual gear selection optional. The S4 comes with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system and BBS 14-spoke, 18-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tires. The convertible S4 gets a restyled front end, better insulated convertible cover with glass rear window. Each version has quattro permanent four-wheel drive as standard to transform the power into traction and motoring enjoyment. Next-gen Audi Q7 to debut in Detroit
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Audi's public relations team must really be getting fed up with research and design boss Ulrich Hackenberg. Aside from basically confirming that the next Audi R8 will share its bones with the Lamborghini Huracán and noting that it may take advantage of the Asterion Concept's hybrid powertrain technology, he's now let slip that the second-generation Q7 will arrive in January at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
"If you make a trip to Detroit, you'll see it," Hackenberg reportedly told Indian Autos Blog during Paris Motor Show festivities.
That's a bombshell, particularly as we've heard plenty about its potential powertrain technologies, including spy shots of diesel-powered models, plug-in-hybrids, sporty SQ7s and electric turbochargers, but there's been absolutely nothing concrete about when and where the car would debut.
Audi Q3 production begins in Spain

It wasn't that long ago that Audi had no SUVs in its lineup - aside from the A6 Allroad Quattro - despite being known for its all-wheel-drive vehicles. But that's all changed, just as it has for BMW and Porsche. The Q7 was followed by the Q5, and now the Q3 has started production as well.
The first Q3 rolled off the assembly line today at the plant in Martorell, Spain. The facility belongs principally to Audi's sister-company Seat, but has gone through a considerable expansion - funded by both Audi and Seat - to prepare for the Q3's production.
Audi A8 facelift on the way
Thu, 23 May 2013The coming Audi A8 has already been spotted in camouflage on public roads at earthly elevations, and now our snappers have caught it at elevation in the Alps. The evolution will entail modified head- and taillights, different sculpting for the grille and a new bumper profile said to be more in line with the A6 S Line.
Inside, there might also be adjustments made to input controls like the gesture touchpad and the MMI infotainment system that include behind-the-scenes improvements like new Nvidia Tegra chips, but such revisions are expected to be minor. With the S8 and the TDI just having been launched, don't be surprised if engine outputs also remain the same. The prevailing sneaking suspicion is that we'll see the car unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show.
