2005 Audi S4 (last of this B6 body style) 6 speed manual Recaro seats H&R Springs with Koni's Falken tires all around 235/35/19 on RS4 Style Wheels. Magnaflow CatBack Exhaust 107k on it and serviced recently with fresh oil and new power steering hose and fluids. Serviced at local shop in Santa Rosa. We have some of the records since we buying it. Has a minor ding on rear driver quarter panel can be pulled out, some scratch marks on trunk see in the picture other wise body is clean. Drivers seat left leather bolster has torn from going in and out of the seat. The reason we are selling is we moved away from the city and the car doesn't do well on dirt roads so we are constantly watching out for everything. The wheels keep getting out of balance due to the roads so it's just not practical for us at this point. Wheels will need to be rebalanced if you want to minimize on road feel and vibration, this car feels more like a Lotus Elise or Porsche GT-3 then a luxury sedan, the handing and road feedback is amazing. No timing chain issue at startup, if you want to dial in the suspension I would invest on some adjustable control arms which were on my list but thats up to the new buyer. This is a great car, tons of fun and safe with the Quattro. Has mostly every option but heated seats. The car is financed by local credit union. We can just go to the credit union and do paperwork there. Serious buyers only, this car is not for everyone and is being sold as is, not in rush to sell it either. Tired of craigslist time waister so up on ebay it goes. |

Audi Sport Quattro Concept makes video debut
Wed, 30 Oct 2013Audi has stayed quiet about its Sport Quattro Concept since the 700-horsepower, tangerine rocket debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show - a followup to Quattro Concept shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Now, Audi has broken the plug-in hybrid out to give thanks to its Facebook fans, which now number over 100,000 strong (103,123 as of this writing).
As impressive as that number is, it does seem a bit strange that Audi USA's Facebook page has netted 7.3 million likes, 73 times what Audi's global page has received. Of course, we're not complaining about seeing the Sport Quattro Concept in action, and neither should you. Take a look below for the entire video.
Audi rules out R8 PHEV, will build E-Tron to order
Tue, 15 Jul 2014The question of whether Audi will morph the next-gen R8 (pictured above, in testing) into a plug-in-hybrid challenger for the BMW i8 may have been answered. CarAdvice, in Australia, is claiming that any plans for a PHV 2016 R8 have been shelved, and that Audi will go ahead with gas-powered or all-electric models, only.
Even then, the electric R8 E-tron (if it ends up being called that) would be built-to-order, and in much smaller quantities than the gas-powered model.
"In the next generation we will have an electric car on behalf of customers' needs, which is only available [upon special order]," Audi product manager Marie Suzanne Ernst told CA. "So it's not a make of series production, but if a customer wants to have it, he can order it."
New Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight geeks out with mad lumens
Wed, 08 Jan 2014It's safe to say that, at least as far as automotive companies go, Audi's Sport Quattro Laserlight concept car is stealing the show here at CES in Las Vegas. The car's 700-horsepower hybrid powertrain and carbon-fiber bodywork mean that it would go like stink if it were ever allowed to turn a wheel, and the shapely coupe stance looks every inch the part of a modern-day super coupe, too. Better yet, the laser-powered headlamps that are the crowning glory of the concept car are actually slated for production at some point in the not-distant future.
We're talking about lasers here, folks. I don't know about you, but if you had told the 10-year-old, Real Genius-watching version of me that there'd one day be a car with lasers for headlights, well, I'd have wanted one of those things, pretty bad.
Anyway, Audi's lasers may not be able to ignite a giant pack of Jiffy Pop from space, but they are set to be the new standard for illumination on the road. The laser lights are nearly three times as bright and beam twice as far as current, top-notch LED high beams and were called "safer, sharper and more efficient" compared with existing technologies. That "safer" part works on two levels: the brighter beams offer far better visibility, naturally, but Audi also tells us that they won't dazzle oncoming drivers like traditional high beams will. That means you can drive with the maximum illumination at all times. Cool stuff, here at CES.
