Hey guys,

I have a 2012 Audi R8 V10 Coupe for sale. This car has been the weekend car to supplement my supercharged E92 M3, and it's been a toy for me to drive on sundays to the local car meets and to take out every so often. It has been meticulously maintained, kept under the OEM Audi car cover whenever it's not being driven and kept in the garage. Car was purchased from Maserati of Manhattan in June of 2012 and car has not given any issues. Car drives straight and true, pulls like a freight train and has no issues shifting or any engine issues. Body is perfect, and the car is in mint shape.

Some facts on the car to try to answer some quick common questions:
- No Accidents
- I have the carfax on hand
- Clean Title in hand.
- Two-owner's, originally owned also in NJ. Car has never seen salt/bad weather. Always stored in climate-controlled units and driven in good weather.
- Located in North Jersey, I'd be willing to ship the vehicle/meet somewhere reasonable.
- Car will be delivered with a fresh wash.
- Test drives welcome only with cash ready/deposit placed. Please no tire kickers or low ballers. I am aware of what the vehicle is worth so please kindly respect that.
- I have no problem taking the vehicle to the local mechanic/dealer/indy shop for a PPI at the buyer's expense.
- If you need pictures of a specific area just tell me and I'll post them up or text them to you.
- Car is cosmetically and mechanically perfect. No scratches, dings, dents, etc.
- Car rides smooth, no issues. Would not hesitate to drive the car across country without a problem.
- Title in hand, carfax in hand, two keys (have to find the second one) and valet key, as well as owner's manual.

If interested, please call/text/email/pm. I check forums, phone and email frequently so I'll try my best to get back to you as soon as possible. If you call and I don't answer, I'm most likely working or in class. Leave a voicemail so I can get back to you. I will NOT respond to lowball offers. Please don't waste your time or my time. I appreciate the interest.

Tom Kristensen walks through a perfect lap of Le Mans in Forza 5

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

One of the best ways of learning a new track, aside from driving it, is to hear someone that's intimately familiar with it give you a good walkthrough. That's just what you'll get here, as the winningest driver in 24 Hours of Le Mans history, Tom Kristensen, walks you through the Circuit de la Sarthe's high-speed, 8.5-mile strip of pavement.
Kristensen is dubbed over scenes of drivers from a Forza Motorsport 5 contest lapping the track at the wheel of an Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro, adding a bit of visual sense to the Danish drivers description of the track.
With the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans kicking off this weekend, this is just the sort of video you'll want to watch to get you in the mood. Take a look below, and then let us know what you think in Comments.

For some of us that day can't come soon enough, and in honor of Earth Day we've put together a list of our favorite car giveaways so you can save some green while being green.  Win a 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo S and $20,000 - Enter Here If there’s one thing Porsche is good at, itÂ’s making fast, beautiful cars, and the Taycan Turbo S is no exception. Making 750 horsepower, 774 lb-ft of torque and a top speed of 161 miles per hour, punching the accelerator will surely throw you back in your seat. In fact, its 0-60 time of 2.6 seconds matches that of the quickest Porsche 911 ever made, the Turbo S. The difference between this Taycan Turbo S and that 911 Turbo S, of course, is that the only reason youÂ’ll ever need to stop off at a gas station is to fill up on snacks. That and the fact the Taycan doesn't actually have a turbo anywhere in the car. We wouldnÂ’t be reaching for a bag of FlaminÂ’ Hot Cheetos, though, because this incredibly comfortable leather interior is immaculate, and weÂ’d hope to keep it that way. Enter here for a chance to win this prize worth $220,000. Win a Himalaya Land Rover Defender 110 EV and $20,000 - Enter Here The Land Rover Defender is an icon: an intense, luxurious off-roader that turns heads and can crawl up nearly anything. The problem? For the past 20+ years it hasn't been available in the United States and it's never been what youÂ’d call environmentally friendly. But this Defender is different. ItÂ’s vintage, restored by Himalaya and itÂ’s all-electric. At 275 horsepower, you wonÂ’t be thrown back in your seat, but the 406 lb-ft of torque helps make this an incredibly capable rock crawler.

GM, Audi, Jaguar halt Russian sales amidst ruble's collapse

Fri, Dec 19 2014

The value of Russia's ruble currency has sunk like a stone tossed in the Volga for much of the year, losing over 40 percent of its worth since June. The change is having bizarre effects on the auto industry there and leaving some automakers scrambling to adjust. According to Bloomberg, Russians are buying up luxury goods including automobiles at the moment to have a physical investment in case the ruble sinks further. However, with the money worth so little, the companies aren't making much from these transactions. Things are so dire that several automakers are temporarily ending deliveries until the situation stabilizes. According to Bloomberg, General Motors stopped sales on December 16 with no set date to start again. Audi did the same thing but with the intention to resume once it has adjusted model pricing. Jaguar Land Rover terminated business until December 19 to see how things changed. Toyota is increasing its pricing, as well, but keeping business open at the same time. Some automakers have subtly been reacting to the slumping Russian auto market all year. The moves have included Volkswagen cutting production by 30,000 units from its factory in Kaluga. Ford also got rid of 950 workers from two plants due to low demand. Some analysts have even speculated that the contracting industry and possibility of lower import duties into the country could cause companies to end their manufacturing in Russia completely.
