This is a perfect car with Premium package features (see below). The car has a salvage history / rebuild title because of suspected flood damage but the car is drivable in the perfect condition, there was no sign of water inside a car. I bought this car from the auction for a resale and did not have to fix anything there, perfectly runnable and beautiful. The car has original paint, minor scratches on the rear bumper (see the picture), no smell, no electrical problems. Car got full power memory driver and passenger seats, a navigation system, the car has low miles: 5,432 actual miles. This is a clean, well kept car, only one owner. Everything is working in the car.

Because the insurance company did not have keys for this car, they put approximate miles: 23,000 which is not correct but their guess. When we got the keys and started the car, 5,423 miles came up on the speedometer, so actual miles are 5,423.

Audi S3 with manual transmission still on table for US

The fine folks at Fourtitude recently sat down with Audi of America President Scott Keogh, and among other things, learned that the potent little S3 sedan could be offered with a manual transmission in the United States someday. That sort of sounds like the usual company line to us, but Keogh reportedly said the company is "looking very closely" at adding the manual to the S3, which currently is only available with a dual-clutch automatic.
Fourtitude also brought up the possibility of a hotter RS3 - a vehicle we've seen testing before, as a hatchback. We don't doubt that this more potent compact is already a done deal, but Keogh reportedly mentioned that the sedan will get this treatment. An RS3 for the US? Sign us up, for sure.

VW Group opens new plant in China

As the top market for the Volkswagen Group, China will be getting plenty of attention in coming years when it comes to vehicle production starting with an all-new plant in Foshan. The new plant celebrated the production of its first car this week - a seventh-gen Volkswagen Golf - but the Audi A3 will also join the line by the end of this year.
With its Foshan plant, Volkswagen is adding 6,500 workers in China as well as 300,000 units of production capacity - a figure that will eventually double. In addition to this growth, by 2018, VW is also planning to boost its workforce from 75,000 to 100,000 in China, an increase that will help rocket production capacity from the current 2.6 million annual units to more than 4 million.
